Well I didn't do so good over the holidays. I weighed 258 this morning. I'm glad it wasn't worse. This was my first holiday since switching to WW's and believe it or not it was harder for me than on Atkins. With Atkins I just knew what I could and couldn't have. I guess what's hard for me is having what I want, but just a small portion. I have major portion control issues.
So unless I miraculously lose 4lbs by Saturday, this ain't happenin' this month. However, I broke into the 160s (169.5 this morning!) so I'm happy about that. This month has been rough, though, for some reason I could not get my butt in gear; maybe the change of season slowed me down a bit. But now that I'm used to it being darker earlier and colder, I can get this show on the road and get the next 28lbs off! Let's do this!
I'm still a little frustrated that I didn't get to weigh in last week, and that I'm still two days away from my final weigh-in for the month. But here's to hoping I'll have lost the final pound by then (or even more)! It's been a strange, stressful month, thanks in part to the holiday.
My MIL makes homemade tamales and it's one of the very few things I eat that I'm completely clueless over about the calories, so I end up limiting myself to two when everyone else is eating five or more. We ate over there last night and got sent home with a huge bag that's now sitting in the fridge.
I'm still hoping I can get out of the 220's by the end of the year, but given my average rate of about a pound a week I'm not really counting on it. But I can most likely make this month's challenge at least! I'm in desperate need of new clothes right now so I'm going to venture forth today to see if I can find some good deals, or at the very least, put myself in a good mood over what I might be able to fit into now.
Lockitup - congrats on driver's license weight!!! Mine says 135 so not sure if I'll ever get that low again - we'll see.
Thank you! And honestly I NEVER thought I'd be back here, EVER. Didn't think my body was capable of it at 30 years old after 2 kids and a 94 pound re-gain!!! Everyone's body is different and has different "happy" weights, but you just never know till you get there!

Hey chickies. I have finally got back to posting on here. All the family around and business of the holiday and I didn't post until yesterday anywheer on 3FC. SO long story short I managed to maintain over Thanksgiving, but haven't seen any loss. Yesterday I weight in at 180.4, and I haven't weight yet this morning. I will here in a minute after I finish my nice hot cup of coffee.
Pretty sure there is no way I will see 10lbs, but I'll be happy with the 5 lb loss I have alread seen. PLan to make today a stellar one and really get a good cardio and weightlifting workot in.

P.S. So since I'm mnot looking like I'll make it to 10 lbs this month, I REALLY want to have a chane at redemption and lose 10 lbs next month. So definately think we need someone to start at 10 lbs by New Years challenge!
