down 1.4 for the week for a total of 8.6 so far. I don't expect to lose another 1.4 in the next two days, but you never know! Maybe I can at least break 9 lbs lost.
I have lost 5 pounds so far in the month of August which is awesome. It's my birthday today (and there are only three days left) so I am definitely NOT going to make it to 10 pounds but it's good for me to realistically see what can be lost in a month. Thanks for the challengy good times!
I'm going to do my final weigh in on Thursday. I only set my goal for 7 lbs and still have 1.2 lb to go. I've been stalled at this weight for about 8-9 days. I don't think I'll make it to my goal of 128 but I'm happy with the overall results.
Congrats to everyone on their losses and hope everyone can meet their goal by the end of the month. If you can't then there is always tomorrow and the day after to try.

i made it down to 246.6 on Saturday but I had a pretty high sodium day yesterday so I gained a bit of water weight this morning. That's ok, I still met my goal of ten lbs lost this month and water weight doesn't bother me. I ate a lot yesterday but I didn't go over maintenance calories so I know that's what it is. I guess we'll see what happens on the 1st. Hopefully the water will be gone.
Good thing my weigh in isn't until Thursday. I weigh daily and it said +4 this morning...darn lying scale . I went to the state fair this weekend and didn't over indulge, so I'm 99.9% sure it's just the 3 liters of water I drank while I was there...boy was it hot!!!!
Well I'm not going to cheat and post today's weight, which would have been a plateau, as yesterday's weight was a gain. I'm such a yo-yoer. I'm hoping that I can stay at today's weight of 141 or below for Sep 1st, as that would mean I at least lost 5lb this month, which I take as some kind of achievement. Here's hoping!

Hi all - I was very happy to see the scale eeek down a wee bit this morning. It is Minnesota State Fair time -- I did pretty good avoiding all of the "stuff on a stick" but just couldn't pass up a taste of a deep fried PICKLE! YUM. But I'm delighted to say - I was fine with just two bites! Slowly slowly but in the right direction I continue to go. I'm inspired by everyone's wonderful accomplishments!!
