Remember that is only the low for THIS journey....I am gonna get back to where I was!!!

I'm still hovering at 201. I've not had time to work out even though I got some new work out videos that I am so excited about plus not feeling good. I just got home and had my specialist appointment today and I may be having to have sinus surgery or will be having shots in my face and head to relieve some of the problems I'm having and to try to calm down some of the nerves around my sinuses in my face. So those two options don't sound appetizing but I'm at the point where I'm willing to try anything now since I've been very uncomfy and tired for the past 18 months. In a way I am excited about possibly also having a solution to this problem and hopefully it will get me to feeling better and not so tired to where I can work out more. The doctor made it sound very easy and that I shouldn't have had to be this sick for this long. There's a lot of hormone talk going on in this thread and hormone trouble seems to be going around. I seem to be having some problems myself and I've skipped last months and so far this month as well. So that may be next on my list going to the OB gyn since I better not be pre-menopausal since I'm only 26! There's no bun in the oven either since I've taken tests so I'm getting a little befuddled myself over here. Anyways have a nice night and let's get some of this BALONEY off!
We are gonna figure this all out BRAT

Stuff is a lot like baloney sometimes too

We've had snow, missed some school, trying to re-scheduled basketball games before tournament starts next week (DD is a cheerleader so I go to all of the games!), basketball games every night this week, today's her 18th birthday, trying to change shift at one of my (three) jobs so I can make it to the first tournament game next week, etc. etc. TOM, oh yeah, and i'm up a pound and graduation is looming ever so closer. Will try to catch up. . . . eventually. . . .
I remember those busy days well with kids playing high school and college sports...loved them but glad they are over! Good luck to the kiddo and HAPPY BIRTHDAY from me... Let's go Margie...maybe goal is not gonna happen but WE can still kick some butt before graduation!!

Well TEAM I weighed in at 185 this morning...dang...I had been at 184 for a few days...oh well...

I am gonna blame it on Angie's orange chicken ...ok...Trader Joe's orange chicken that Angie cooked....I was pretty good...I backed off from what I really wanted! I did eat a little extra of the quinoa with veggies that Angie made...so good....don't think that was the problem...

might have been the 4 beers....

nah....

wink...

be good to yourselves TEAM!

I weighed in at 159, trying to get back to 143. The doc wants me at 145-155. Always a struggle.

So I took a day off today (one of those "you better take it or you'll lose it" days). Why am I hungrier at home than when I'm at work????? I have put myself on kitchen restriction except for meal times. NO GRAZING! I have plenty to do today, but I just keep thinking about what I could fix to eat...

No baloney!

One of these days, Gary, I'm going to have to learn how you put so many quotes in one post. That would be easier to chat back with more than one person.

Down to 207 today! I am in uncharted territory... haven't been this low in at least two years. I feel great... even put on two pairs of jeans that I outgrew before beginning this journey. Only two more lbs to go to make my Feb goal.

EZ - Don't blame the quinoa. They're my new best friend.

The symbol right next to the "quote" button is the one you click for each of the posts you want to quote, then for the last one, you click the actual quote button.

HI TEAM

Well I checked in at 185 this morning....up from the 184 I have held most of the week...I am sure it was from the pizza last night...

not the 3 beers I had either

Angie was in charge of picking date night dinner. We were going to a new place, Yellow Deli, near us that has just opened.....organic food...run by a religious cult. Anyway, they had a sign on the door saying they were closed until Sunday afternoon So she opted for a pizza joint we go to sometimes....run by a skateboard crowd that was nearby... meaning she picked pizza 2 weeks in a row...that never happens! lucky me!

We did do the Friday Night Splits and shared a spinach and bacon pizza with a red sauce. I was good and only had 1 beer....there.... Our Vicar from church came in with his 2 little girls so we had a nice chat. He didn't like the micro-brew he ordered and tried to pass it off to me.... nope Vicar...you're stuck...I don't like dark beer That was a 100 plus calorie save

Do you realize I am posting here at 4 o'clock on a Saturday morning?...what's up with my work-day body clock?...it doesn't realize it's the week-end?...

Diane just do what Passionista said. Click on the "page" looking thing...it will turn red....click on all the posts you want to reply to then click the "page" thing, then the "quote" on the last one....you can erase anything you want in each post and save what you want....just don't erase the bracket thingys for the poster's name....as you can see I really know what words to use for computer talk

Great job ANNE I only blame quinoa when it's full of baloney

ANNIE I never blame alcohol either...at least those that come in the bologna bottles and cans

Well TEAM I will check in later this week-end....dinner tonight will be chicken cacciatore and risotto, I think risotto and polenta....with sauteed spinach, tomatoes, garlic and onions to go over the polenta if we choose instead of the chicken cacciatore. We call it Gramma/i Judi's Chili Cook-Off Memorial It is a day we set aside each year to remember our loved ones that have passed on....we will have around 25 folks here tonight...it will be a blast...always is, spending a few hours with all my family.

Have a great week-end...hug a kid and tell them you love them for me!

Absolutely!....good luck on becoming a runner...the c25K....couch to 5K program is a great way to start if you need guidance....WELCOME!

Well Gramma/i Judi's Chili Memorial went well....the 22 friends and family enjoyed the chicken cacciatore Angie made.

The rain left early in the day so the guys were out in the yard throwing the football around....playing shuffleboard and bean bag toss. Most of the gals were inside watching the Olympics and helping visiting....

I made beer runs most of the afternoon.... to the fridge in the garage and back outside

Checked in at 184.0 this morning ....progress!

Have a great day TEAM

This is my third day at 207. I am grateful it didn't go up after yesterday's food-fest. I'm not sure what was going on with me, but I think I gave in to every temptation in the house. Tostitoes, valentine's day chocolates, even a small bowl of ice cream. Still need to drop 2 lbs by the end of the month to make my goal. So I am confessing my food-sins to all of you and putting them behind me.

EZ - You are awesome! Less than 10 lbs to get to 175. You are within spitting distance. Keep it up!

Hang in there team.

Awesome! Now I know how to do the multiple quotes. I should have asked a long time ago!!!

Yesterday wasn't a good food day for me. So, my baloney explanation is that my daughter was going to a dance at the high school... and she was looking way too beautiful in her dress... and the nervousness and excitement that she felt rubbed off on me... and I was nervous, not excited, and full of anxiety... and so I ate some stuff that was not on plan. Not smart. But, we made it through the night and here we are, Sunday morning. Back on track. The good news is that today I get to take my son to the batting cages. Luckily they are indoors since we are, yet again, getting snow. Baseball is scheduled to start next month. I really hope that SPRING is scheduled to start soon!!!!!

I am up to 207. I am not quite sure why. I think I have been eating more lately and just didn't quite realize it. I've been stressed to say the least these past two days. There's a lot of personal drama going on around me with people that I love and least expected it from and it is affecting me is all I can say. Plus some financial things have happened that have changed our circumstances and I will probably be looking for another job with more money. I got the flat belly diet cookbook today at Walmart that is done by Prevention magazine and it is interesting but seems healthy enough. I got another cook book but it is a dud I think that was on clearance and now I know why haha. Have a good night!
