Tigger, the sad thing is that people who think that is hilarious and OK are also the ones that will make fun of patients behind their backs. That sort of thing should be controlled by the teacher, who should have made it clear what she/he expected.

People can be crude. I'm sorry to hear that they are that way. I agree with Julie. It should be handled by a teacher.

tigger-that's a very difficult situation and I'm sorry you have to deal with it. There's a brand of vegan cheese called Sheese that's produced in Scotland, so you may have some luck finding it in Ireland. I've heard it's very good!

erin-sounds like you're going through an equally difficult situation and I'm sorry. I'd have a hard time dealing with that too.

jillnicole-your happy goal was beautiful. I have learned to enjoy and appreciate the little things. It's taken me a long time to get here, but I appreciate every day that much more.

Have a great afternoon, girls!

theheather.. 15x a month sounds like alot to me! GREAT GOAL!

erin... i keep thinkingabout that (what if i marry someone who is not vegan-vegetarian) and they want our children to eat both.. i dont think i could handle it now that i now all the facts I wish my parents would have raised me dairy and meat free. My mom actually raised me on top ramen and chips.. we never had fruits or veggies... and really I feel like its a parents job to give you healthy things and try to sneak veggies in your food... but my parents didnt... i definitely want to do things differently!

tigger175... yeah thats messed up to be 'playing' with the animal

darby... glad you liked the happy goal

rdw.. okay 199.6 sounds good

I used this recipe: http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=13189.0

Personally, I felt like it called for too much sugar. But then again, maybe I didn't mix it properly. I think next time I will use less.

I didn't make them into patties...they were more bon bon like. Doesn't matter...they were a HIT.

Either way it was a nice dairy free alternative to my favorite candy.

my do I love brussells sprouts.

Anyone else??

If so, what's your favorite recipe?? How do you like to eat them?

Personally, I could eat them steamed and salted. I love them that much

My sister has been vegetarian since she was a teenager I think. I think her reasons for being vegetarian had more to do with health and not liking meat, than animal rights. Now she has 2 1/2 and 10 month old daughters. Her husband is a hunter Not that he ever gets to do that anymore, but he has, and that's his mentality. I think he had to hang his deer head in the garage or something. Seriously. So I feel bad for her, she has given in and the kids eat meat, and I know she doesn't love it.

Hey THE Heather-I've used that recipe!! They're good. I'm going to have to make them again!

Well, I did my 6th workout of my 21 day challenge. I just did an ab video. It was pretty easy, but I figured I needed to give all my other body parts a rest. I still haven't found a pilates video, but I'll keep looking.

Anyway, have a great night, everyone. I hope it's more exciting than mine. My husband is at a football game, so I'm hanging out, watching the Cosby Show. I know how to party, don't I???
