hey everyone, my daughter and i just got back from a 2 day vaca in plattsburgh, ny. i spent all my money and ate way too much but whatever its done and i cant go back in time....i did have a good time though lol. i made 3 dozen vegan chocolate chip cookies mostly for family, im tried to not leave much for santa lol, they came out good, im happy considering these are the first cookies ive made from scratch lol. my thyroid surgery is gonna be on march 4th, the day before my birthday....ugh!

hey everyone, i went to my moms to celebrate a nonreligious version of christmas. i had a tofurky roast for the first time, wow i really liked it with the gravy. i told my mom about burnt broccoli that i saw online and she made that, it is so good! i did eat more than i should have but i did go on their treadmill for 30 min so at least it's a little better than eating too much with no exercise lol

is our weighin day going to be thursday for this challenge too? it seems like everyone is used to fridays so maybe we could do ours on fridays? especially since jan 1 is on a friday i think. talk to you all later!

Hey girls! I hope everyone had a great Christmas, giftmas, yule, or just a day of rest! I got back home last night and slept nearly 12 hours! Family wears you out! I'm so back to calorie counting and exercising as I'm ending this challenge higher then I started (I'm hoping a lot is bloat due to pigging out and not enough water the past couple of days).

hey ladies,
sorry i have not been posting for about the last month. i skimmed the posts from when i was gone and there are some good looking recipes posted. i def want to try making the taco soup! but anyways, i'm a little embarressed to admit this, but the reason i haven't been on is that i haven't been eating vegan at all for the past few weeks. i've been home and i've been stressed and i'm new at this and i just sorta started eating the way i used to. i've decided to pick it back up on january 1st. (so i really like the idea of starting a new challenge then!) i did some grocery shopping today and got all vegan friendly foods. i know that i will feel better if i give this a fair shot, but i struggle ALOT when i'm at home and not in complete control of what food is in the house. i'm trying again starting on thursday though!!!
