Hi Lou and welcome back

Seriously don't worry about your 4lb in 5 weeks, you will soon shift that. I've put on 4lb since last week and I only went away for a weekend.

Hope the union gets you sorted with your workplace.

Lou the cottage is in Newtonmore in Scotland - very easily accessible by train (it's next to the station) and is available to rent through Sykes cottages (you'll have to google them - I think you can book on-line). There are some great walks around there - specifically the Wild Cat Trail which we did, and we saw eagles and a harrier jump jet... It's brill! If you drive you'd probably have more freedom, but we got the train places and we walked and we mainly stayed inside and watched DVDs and played dominoes!

Hello everyone

Thank you all for your kind words. It does feel good but I can't seem to shift anymore weight. My top half is not a ten though I am still Mr Michilin around my middle.

Hope Hannah is feeling better today Chris.

I still feel like crap. My period never arrived my cycle must be all up the creek. My friends keep saying have you come on yet. I do feel as if I am going to as I feel so hormonal. I do not feel pregnant and I have never missed a mini pill. I think I maybe having some kind of early menopausal thing.
Or maybe the fact that I had been doing that higher intensity workout and did go to nine stone seven relatively quickly considering how long I was ten stone for.

Welcome back Lou.

Michele

Lou - the trains were about once every 4 hours or so and don't go very fast. The first train at twenty past ten in the morning woke us up!!! The last train going past is about 10pm so it's reasonable and they're going pretty slowly through the station even if they don't stop.

We went to see Casino Royale last night! It was BRILLIANT! And Bond ain't bad either Well worth going to see. We must be getting old though, we were moaning about how we were tired just after watching the trailers, then the film started and after it finished we were moaning about it being too loud!

Unfortunately DH had said that he would go and watch the film in Islington with two of his colleagues. They wouldn't leave work early enough for DH, I left work half an hour early and got the tube down to Islington, then when we got there the film had sold out. So DH and I came home and went to our usual cinema - which was a pain since it cost me over a fiver to go to Islington. But I did get the chance to buy some nice M&S sandwiches and apples

Hi Lou - and welcome back. Hope you get the job situation sorted out okay.

Michele - like Lou says - have you done a test? You've been feeling under the weather for a long while now - do you think that maybe its time to think about going to the doctor?

DH had a day off yesterday so we took the dogs to the seaside. It was Ellie's first time and I really, REALLY wish I'd taken a camera. She took one look at the sea and did that Scooby Doo thing - laid her head to the right and looked at the sea then laid her head to the left and looked at the sea. You could see 'What the is THAT' running through her mind. G&F took off at full run across the beach so she decided it was probably okay and chased after them. Fred threw himself in to one of the shallow beach pools and she followed which took her very slightly out of her depth - she didn't panic - she tried to swim and did loads of splashing but wasn't getting anywhere so DH waded in and fished her out - then, of course, she jumped straight back in again so we left her to get on with it - she soon learned to swim. It was a beautiful sunny day, not too cold but with a fairly strong breeze and it was so nice to see the dogs chasing each other through the shallows with the sun twinkling off the spray and water.

Back to reality today - three eBay buyers who all thought they read things in my descriptions that weren't there now want refunds. (WHY can't people read descriptions / check measurements properly... arghhh!) One woman in particular is really weird - the description and title stated item was black - all emails said it was black - PayPal confirmation said it was black - and she's emailed me to say she's disappointed because .... its black. Apparently she thought it was going to be dark blue. She also thought it was going to be embroidered - dunno why she thought it was embroidered - I haven't got anything here embroidered at all. I thought she might have muddled my item up with another purchase but I checked her buying history and she hasn't bought anything else. D'oh!

AND.... Sainsburys just delivered. All of this week's Christmas stuff is there but 13 items out of my normal weekly shopping have been subbed - mostly with totally unsuitable stuff like own brand full fat Greek Yoghurt instead of the low fat kind. I tried ringing the complaints department to see if I could get the missing stuff delivered when they get it in store but all she kept saying was that I'd get a refund - fat lot of use that is! I think I might try Tesco again next week.

Awwwww I love the thought of Ellie running around! I'm coming to camp out on your doorstep and take the dogs to the seaside with you next time! I can stay - and sleep in the dog bed!

Those e-bayers are NUTS! Do you have to give them a refund if your item is as described?
