Well I've had a terrible food day, boyfriend bought me TWO ginger cakes, which I can't resist so I've eaten like a pig all day. Scales are gona hate me this week, and I'm gona hate them.
Also, I believe the CHAV (Council House And Violent) is a close relation of the Scottish NED (Non Educated Delinquent). Stirling is full of them. They speak in a whole other language, it needs translating for ordinary people.
toys- I ate like a pig on Friday and Sat when I wnet to Manchester and found it difficult to get back into yesterday. I guess the way to go is to remind yourself why you want to lose the weight. I'm back to writing everything down and working out my points again today. I'm less likely to eat something I shouldn't if I know I've got to write it down !!
Toys, I am the queen of bad weekends, drink a lot of water, if you ate a lot of junk the weight may be mainly water. I'm usually back to normal by about Weds, then if I'm lucky I can drop an lb or 2.
The good thing about being sick is I'm coughing so much my abs are sore. I was feeling a little better and thought about the gym, but I decided I need to rest. I always go back too soon and then I get sick for longer.
@ Lynne looking chav line... glad to hear you bought a new top at lunch time Are you having a good evening with hubs gone?
We've had the police here tonight, looking for a young chap who is the nephew of the landlord...he has two warrants out for an arrest... nicking a golf cart and something else...so a very exciting evening on CC.
I had lovely bubble and squeak tonight...Sarah, loved your recipe idea, will try that, just did it the old fashioned way tonight, but did get inventive with left over mas for Hannah, mixed a can of tuna in with it and fried it in Pam so it was all crispy on the outsides, and served with baked beans, she loved it I reckon they could put me next to the statue of the cabbage in Bosnia, I'm always eating the stuff, love it
RIght, got the fire lit, or is that lighted? And it's time for a cuppa and to flick through the telly channels until CSI Miami comes on.
Exciting night on the Cape. Did your tummy do a flip when you opened the door and saw the cops? The chair is going upstairs and the entertainment centre in the front so I'll have more space as that corner won't be cut off.
Lynne you made me laugh about your chav look. I wouldn't worry Americans don't know what a chav is and they think burberry is stylish!!!
Homersmummy great pictures with Pink. How on earth did you get to meet her?
I HAVE NO BURBERRY I know what you mean though it's very overdone here!!!!
It's still raining, day 3, very depressing.
Still have a cold but I feel better because I was able to sleep, I think one more day off of the gym and back tomorrow. I have tickets to see a screening of Fast Food Nation tonight should be interesting. It's all about how Americans live on fast food. My students are going to read the book for social studies so I figured it would be cool to see it.
Have a great day alll......oh and great pics with pink HM.
BritNJ- I don't think you should be lighting fires with your cabbage habit, you know!....
Homersmummy- Sounds like you have a great time with Pink. I always thought she sounded really cool.
Redsox - enjoy the film. I am sure your students will find the book an eye opener (as they scoff down a burger or two!). Not that we in the UK are in a good position to point the finger exactly!
Thanks for the grammar lesson CG And the update on where the furniture will be, you know I like to know where everything is, andnot miss out.
HM, you're looking mighty slim there my woman...not gormless at all, glad you had a fab time.
Peacock, the fire was fine and I wasn't actually squeaky last night after my cabbage fill... prob all start to rumble about when I go to curves in a bit...many a time I've been doing the circuit and rumbles have been released from my bottom! Luckily they have the music on loud so no one can hear them and I just hope and pray whe one rumbles out, that it doesn't pong One day, I'll get caught when the cd changes and it's all quiet........oh no!!!!
Piddling here too RSG, the weather man said it will dry out later today but more tomorrow, at least it's not freezing cold though, I'd rather be wet than cold.
Ok...curves is a calling......where's Sarah this morning?
That reminds me of an excerpt from a show - It may hae been that stupid Jackass show - one guy was very farty and went to a yoga class - he was asked to leave. One reason I can never take up yoga - I can never relax - always have to be on my guard! Funnily enogh I am extra windy at the moment but I think it is down to my tablets.
Good news is I remembered both a shirt and shoes that I can walk in today! Woohoo!
Homersmummy - you and your sister look fab with Pink, how did you get to meet her? Competition win? Your face is showing lots of weight loss and your cheekbones are to die for.
Redsoxgirl - stay home until you are 100% is my advice, don't try going back to the gym if you are not fully fit as you might just set yourself back.
Chris - mmmm bubble and squeek, my fave dish when I was a kid. I might have to look into making it again. Are you over your bit of excitement? More importantly, were the cops hot?
I had a quiet evening with hubby gone, watched CSI Miami and was in bed by 9pm I don't half know how to live it up!
