I've had a relaxing Sunday. Since my run I've just really been reading the papers and watching tv. I've just cooked what appears to be the most calorific flapjack known to man, but the recipe was recommended on the RW forum as a good energy/carb boost, so I've decided to treat myself to it. It looks delicious - it's got dried apricots, sultanas, pecan nuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds etc etc in it, but also industrial quantities of butter, sugar and honey

Good evening to you all

I am fine veggie apart from a bit of a hangover!!! God what a big eejit I was so drunk I could hardly type.

I've just a lovely meal of this root mash and a quorn steak it was yummy. Had a subway at lunchtime and a packet of crisps. My scales said nine stone 13lbs even after drinking I was thrilled.

Been out to the Irish club this afternoon with my father and my eldest son.
It was the All Ireland GAA final. Kerry v Mayo and we (Kerry) won so all in all a great day.

House all quiet the family have gone to my husbands mother's so I am enjoying the peace.

Hope your all having a restful Sunday

I envy the exercisers this Sunday. I was going to try swimming, but 'm covered in scaly skin, especially on my legs, and it does not look very nice. I also wouldn't like swimming in a pool full of someone elses flaky skin, so I forgo that particular activity this morning.

I walked into our village and back. And then slept for two hours! I have no stamina at present. I'm eating well again, so hopefully I'll be back to normal before too long. I can't believe I've been sick two whole weeks! I haven't had two weeks off sick in years and years. The last time was when i had my gall bladder out!

back to work tomorrow, wish me luck!

Hello all!

Had a mega-hectic weekend Ran 9 miles TO KICKBOXING THEN taught the littlies class, THEN I did some technique practice with Lee. THEN we went to pick up THE DRESS!!!!! It actually fits a lot better than the last time I tried it on. It's not perfect, but it'll do! It means I can chill the heck out about the scales, carry on eating well and training hard and just see what happens! When I got home to Dom we went out to Greenwich on the Thames boat, which was brill! We went to a noodle place, we each had a HUGE bowl of noodles, some prawn crackers for me and Dom had beer and I had 2 d cokes, it all came to £12!!!!! Will be going there again! It was delish! AND I managed to eat as much as I needed, then stop. I was going to have a Ben & Jerry's for dessert, but I didn't I changed my mind in the queue.

Sunday was a slight bust. I changed the bike oil and then we went out to pick up some new sleeping bags - we are both going camping on the Mbike next weekend. Should be interesting. Anyways, so we bought compression sleeping bags that will fit in a rucksack. We went to see this little fair that was on nearby and had lovely sandwiches for lunch Then we went into town to meet up with Dom's friend from work who was going to the riverside festival. They didn't turn up for hours, by which time I was wanting to go home to put the oil back in the bike and cook some lunches! Got home and managed to do the oil, Dom washed bikey (aww bless!) and then I managed to do some clothes-tidying and cooking. So all in all I got my chores done, but I could've done without hanging around on a crowded South Bank for most of the afternoon

It's all good!

Oh and Lee called me "Action Girl" It's official!

Glad you're feeling better Miss K
Helen - hello fellow action girl Are you getting excited I'm sure you'll get a GFA time - you're a star

I am enjoying the choccy. I got a big bar and there's still loads left! DH doesn't like that one hehehehe! I tried to pass the Green and Blacks off as diet chocolate, which worked for a while, but he has now discovered how good it is

I am at work!!!!! I missed work so much. Which is very sad. My new job hasn't started this week, that's why I pushed myself to get here for this week, but I'm glad I did now, I was lonely sitting in my living room for two solid weeks!

I love most of the chox except if there is an orange one. the only choc/orange that is good is Jaffa cakes! I also prefer to not have the ginger one so when I have been given it in the past I pass it on.

My fave is the cherry one cos with the dark choc it is heaven and being dark choc even I don't bolt it down in one like I do the milk choc. It has been know to last over 3 days!!!

Okay - no more chocolate talk!!!!! I have to run past Tesco in a minute and they sell chocolate. I've even got some Galaxy in the fridge at home. Fortunately I don't really like fridge-cold chocolate!

Apples are lovely, but not the one I just had it was all floury, yuck! I meant to buy English discovery apples, but when I got them home found out they were New Zealand Gala. At the next farmers market there will be local apples, hurrah!
