Hello
I had my first ever yoga session today, and it was very hard work! I couldnt do some of the stuff as I have a bad back and Im not very bendy, but I felt the workout afterwards Looking forward to the next one
Im finding difficult to be good with food, fortunately the fridge and cupboards are empty so I dont have a choice.
Im having one of those belgian choc options drink that I found after having a good search in the kitchen, its yummy

Thanks for the shut up Frus, I didn't succomb to the topic (you don't like them)? I went to the supermarket to look for the international aisle, and found nothing, not even a tea bag! So someone was looking out for me, I was actually looking to buy some Brit things to send to sons GF, as she loves Brit chocolate and biccies, her Father was born in Wales but raised here, so he loves them too...but I sent her money instead and didn't get a topic for me

It's 3.30 in the morning and I can't sleep!I blame the red food colouring in the Strepsils! Or perhaps it's because I'm still sleeping all day, then I'm ready to party at night! I must be feeling better!

I even managed a short trip to the pub last night! Just for one drink, but that's progress, and I went shopping this morning for fruit and bought lots of yummy things, including the world's nicest green grapes, they're huge!

I'm planning to swim this weekend, doctor says I'm not infectious now, and a gentle swim would be ok. He was nagging me about my weight at my last appointment, it did kinda shut him up that I had lost a considerable amount of weight already. I was pretty annoyed, he brought it up right at the end of our appointment, we were already running 45 minutes late at this stage, so I couldn't really discuss it with him at length.

He nags me about my weight, then tells me no strenous exercise for at least another week!

I've been pigging out this week *looks ashamed*. I fully expected that I've put weight on. Thankfully I jumped on the scales this morning and I haven't (obviously I haven't lost any either though). But I'm determined to get back on track.
Somebody smack me for being naughty this week!

Hello to you all

I went to the gym again last night. Might attempt it again later, but I am out tonight.

My youngest son is being an absolute horror he is almost 13 a difficult age.
I need to go out and do some shopping.

Awwwww Glamrocker I can't smack you for doing what we all do from time to time. Still no harm done.

Have a good day everyone

Michele

I was a horrendous 13 year old. I think my parents should have sent me to Antarctica for 4 years!!!

You can put the mask away now Veggie!!! I don't know how Col managed to escape the dreaded lurgy! But he didn't get sick at all.

I just went and spent a fortune at Holland and Barrett, Aloe Vera for the flaky skin, Acidophilus (because I am on anitbiotics even though I am sure it's a virus not bacterial but hey ho, 12 year old doctor knows best ) and some echinacea to boost the old immune system. Oh and um er a block of Green and Blacks Organic butterscotch chocolate ------ no excuses there I don't think!

Now I'm bushwhacked, but I don't want to sleep, otherwise I end up posting rubbish at 4 in the morning!!!!

I've just been to the cinema and had the nicest cake ever. I went over to the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television because the film I wanted to see (Volver) was only on in the evenings in Leeds (they must have changed the schedules since I looked midweek) and I wanted an afternoon showing because I have plans for this evening. Between there and the station I stumbled across a huge running shop - it's a sixth sense I think!

3 mile run this morning, I actually managed to pick up a bit of speed this morning for a change. Maybe this tapering business is giving me more energy after all.

I nearly got tempted to do the great north run after all. My friend with the charity places had someone drop out on him, and they want 13 runners for the costume/theme they're running in. He asked me originally and I said no because it's too close to Berlin, but now he's desperate and doesn't know many people who would be fit enough to run a half on two weeks notice! Sadly I had to turn him down again, still too close to Berlin and Amsterdam, plus I'm meant to be in Kent that weekend visiting a friend, which is entirely in the opposite direction...

Rugby kits or something like that. I'm not sure though, no doubt something that would have made me look stupid

It's a lovely morning for a run out there! I did 8 miles, and it felt good. I went round the lake which is a route I don't normally do in the mornings (I prefer to stick to the roads where there are a few more people) and it was lovely. I kept pretty close to 9 minute miles which would give me a 4 hour marathon if I could keep it up, which I'm really pleased with. I felt pretty strong all the way round, and I can't wait for next week now.

I'm going to cook some nice carby treats today to eat during the week. Flapjack and stuff like that that I can use for snacks, and also pack in my bag to take to Germany.

Hello everyone

I ran 5 miles yesterday! That is the first time I have done that so I'm very impressed. It only took me 1:15 hours/mins!

I'm going to the Newbury show today to look at cows - very exciting

My poor little doggie has had his bits removed this week and he's sore and bashing into everything because of his big collar thing. I feel very sorry for him. Mind you, I also feel like a pin-cushion because the injections for my trip have started. Rabies and Hep B involve a course of something like 5 injections over the next month
