I am well chuffed with meself. I actually lost a lb. Why am I chuffed?? I haven't exactly stuck to the sw on my first week. Plus TOM came to visit over the weekend. And I never lose weight on a TOM week. So I must have done summat right. Just imagine what I can do if I actually stick to the plan?? I am also now in a new stone

Well, it's been _ages_ since I last posted my weight in here. Truth to tell, there hasn't been much to say.

I took a break from following my diet for a few weeks, but (unusually for me) went to class anyway. I think this confused my class leader as well, she tried to get me to promise I'd lose a pound next week in front of the rest of the class (hate it when she does that) so I tried to explain that I was just coming along to class while I wasn't on plan so that I wouldn't stop coming all together. I don't know about anyone else, but if I start staying away and gain, I'm embarrassed to go back, so have to take a few more weeks off.

Anyway, I really don't know how, with all the rubbish I've been eating, but I stayed the same one week, put on 1lb two weeks running, and then lost 1lb this week. Making a grand total of a 1lb gain since I last posted my weight here.

Not sure how well I'm going to do this week because there's some Ben and Jerry's ice cream calling my name as I type!

Well done to everyone else on their losses, you're all doing great!

Sometimes i think it works that way because when you are trying to 'diet' food is constantly on your mind and is hard to resist but when you 'quit' its not an issue anymore and you don't want it as much you probably have'nt been as 'bad' as you thought you had i don't think it was right of the leader to make you promise like that she should just give encouragement and make you want to take part not force you to

OK, I posted here this morning before work and it's not here, where on earth in cyber space is it hanging around? Maybe I posted in another place.it was early and only one cuppa was drunk.
I stayed the same today but am having an off plan day, decided this at work while munching some crisps and then some nice soul brought out some yummy chocs....I figure one day is ok, I'll be back on track tomorrow
Well done to all our losers!

I'm with you MG - I haven't posted for weeks either. This has been because I've been offline (with the PC & the diet) for ages, & I didn't want to post till I had something positive to say! As it is, as of weigh-in this morning I have a net loss of 1.5lbs to report, so I'm happy to be finally losing again, & through the next stone mark, too. Only 9lbs to go to get my 10% keyring now. Congratulations on getting yours Carol.

Well done to everyone who's lost - it sounds like everyone's doing really well. Congratulations to Melissa, & to Teel for making the list.

Ali - wahey! I'm delighted that you've got through that block - no stopping you now!

Good Morning Ladies!

I did not go to the Monday weigh in at my club because my frind Ann from Denmark wanted to see me and my friend Sheila for a meal. We went to an Indian. Lovely!

So, before that Sheila and I decided to go to Kingston for shopping and I rather indulged in bad things (two ice creams and a creamy iced coffee, plus cafe snacks). This was rather foolish/brave of me because karen the group leader lives in Kingston! If she was in Marks on that Saturday....!

Anyway to cut a long story short I went to a Thursday weigh in with another class. I am down from 13st 6 to 13st 3.5 so I am well chuffed. Despite the Saturday scoffing and the Monday Indian, plus I owre rather bulky joggers (time of the month so must wear comfy stuff).

I still think I lose in my "Star" week (period). The week before I go up as I always need comfort food but when it is the actualy week of my period I slightly go off food. I still get hungry but do not really fancy anything. Anything stodgy exhausts me. All the usual things I like (YES EVEN CHOCOLATE!)do not hold any any appeal. Unfortunately I am soon back to square one!

well despite tom being here I lost 1lb this week...now just 5lbs away from goal...to say I am pleased with this weeks loss is an understatement

might not be able to post for a few days either. I am having trouble with my internet connection. my computer is now connected round at my mates to make sure there was nothing wrong with it...obviously it wont be staying here and I will just have to wait until ntl get their engineer back out to sort it out for me...so I'll post as soon as I can

That's brilliant, Ali - you must be really chuffed to see the scales moving downwards again! Sad to say, but I feel really excited on your behalf! I think I'll just have to live it through you until I get there myself!

Hope you get your internet problems sorted soon - been there & I know how frustrating it is!
