Thanks Chris Have you moved again? I thought you were in or around New York? Cape Cod is beautiful too I used to like that when I watched Murder She Wrote. I think that was it or maybe I'm getting it mixed up with something else Whats up with your knee Chris? I'm having terrible abdominal pain and back pain at the moment been a few days now driving me bloody mad and its not down to overexercising did'nt sleep last night so got up at 4am to organise my gym so now I can either use my treadmill, bike, free weights or new mini tramp oooh its 1.45pm already and i've only had a protein bar so far my stomach is growling but I don't want to eat until i've exercised so i'd better get at it. Enjoy the airshow Chris and Everyone have a Great Weekend

Hi Cat

Go and get those pains checked out my woman... and don't exercise on just a protein bar, with your tum growling...

I don't know what's up with my knee, but it's got progressively worse over the day... but I've been up and down stairs all day doing different bits and bobs....I'll ice it later on and see if that helps.

We did move again, this time last year actually, we've been on CC a whole year! We're here for another year and then we'll see where we end up.
Before that we were back in AZ for two years and I miss it

Well time to do the dishes, have been very good with food today, had a lovely chicken salad for dinner, have discovered I like feta cheese...and I don't like cheese....

Have a good weekend all....it's supposed to be gorgeous here, and I hear the same about home after a dull dank week

The knee is still a tad twingy but better than Friday...I've taken ibowhatever... the spelling is. I reckon it hurts cos it caarries so much lard around...

It's been a lovely weekend weather wise here although a tad humid... I do like a 'dry' heat.

Mum and Ted arrive this afternoon, I'm all ready for them apart from running to the shop to pick up Mum's birthday cake, an icecream one at that, very naughty, but I shall indulge in a smalle thin slice with her, she shouldn't have it either because of the diabeties, but like she say's, she's only 74 once and that's what she wants.

About now, she should be being treated to cake and champers aboard Virgin Atlantic in the big purple leather seats...I'm sure she's having a fab time.

I've not lost this week...I don't think I ate enough last week and with the knee, I didn't go and do extra work outs. I ate enough chicken and salad to sink a battle ship, but it wasn't the whole day's worth of food on the six week plan, so I'm going to pay better attention this week... andd be an with the chocolate that'll be arriving with Mum...I resisted it while my friend was over... I can do it again... watch out CG, some might be coming you way... want some?

Right, better get my bottom in gear and get to the shop and also fill the car up with petrol, otherwise we'll be doing a flintstone drive up to Boston.

Have a good day everyone

Chris maybe your mum won't bring so much chocolate this time .

You know me anytime you send goodies they get inhaled in a very short period of time.

You could always put it in the freezer and just have a wee bit as a treat.

Happy birthday Mary

Wow what a nice bank holiday for once!!!

Mum has a new chair - christened the 'ejector seat' - shades of James Bond. One of those that moves up and gently tips you out. She needs it as she is not very mobile. I keep forgetting about it and wonder what the whirring noise is.... We are all having senior moments. Mum has asked me I don't know how many times do I like radish in my salad? YES! I got a receipt for a top up for my phone and couldn't hear what they said when Irang as Dad was driving at the time. So I thought it had topped up (how when I did not key in the number I don't know.....) So when I got back to my room I tried to ring mum to say I got home safely and couldn't - so as I had already stripped off (bloomin' hot on the coach) I had to quickly pop a nightie on, a pair of trews and my plastic mac on top and go out to get some credit to ring her. I felt like one of those slummy mummies that take the kids to school in their PJ's.!

I later rang mum and asked if Dad could find the receipt I left behind and email me the ticket. He did - top up for dum dums he put in the email!!!

Dad and I did not go too far cos of leaving mum alone but did get to the owl and otter centre. I have been once with my neice and nephew but this time just us two. I loved the wild boards. The little 'uns gallpoed aobut when the keeper put leaves in the enclosure. A deer marched up the keeper befor ehe got to the deer enclosure - obviously hungry! Sadly I could not see the lynx this time but apparenlty he is a grumpy old man now (he has got arthritis so I sympathise!. On the write up about him it said when the keeper comes to feed him and give a talk about him - he sometimes leaves in dusgust!

Lots of otters romping around. The owls were just staring down from the long poles in their enclosure. I saw a couple of badgers asleep and the ferrets were very lively.

THere seems to be a lot for kids to do in Hampshire. My nephew was off sailing with hsi friend and they managed to fit in a swim as well as 'crabbing'.

My OH went out last night with his mates. I chose to stay at home. When he came home he had gone via Tesco! He bought me some meringue nests and a chocolate au pain!! "It's only 330 calories" he say's. Hmm, only got 200 left for the day so told him to eat it. "Also got you a bacon and sausage burger, 240 calories" he says. I read the package 240 calories per 100g and the thing weighs 166g!! "It was only 20p" he says. Obviously thinks because the price is reduced that the calories are also reduced. MEN

Ok rant over, boy do I feel better for that.

Off to watch Grease on Saturday. Don't fancy the 4 hour minimum drive to London though.

Hope everyone having a good week.
