Tracey....Please don't leave us!! 100 lbs I know is a lot to loose. I know that I will not reach it either, but I'm going to work real hard to get a close as I can. I'm sure there are others here that probably won't reach the 100 pound mark either. Does that make us failures? Of course not!! We are here to support each other on this long and sometimes difficult journey and you would be missed.

Liza...I don't see an ugly duckling, but a beautiful swan! Good job on getting pass the munchies! I started back doing counted cross stitch at night to keep my fingers busy so I don't eat. Last night I had some air popped popcorn and used "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray. Pretty good!! I also liketohave 1 1/2 cupes sliced strawberries with 1 cup of WW Vanilla yogurt for 1 point. Better than ice cream to me.

Diana...You poor girl I'm so sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. I know exactly what you are about to go through. I went through it with both of my inlaws. There cancer was too fargone for them to do anything. I just hope and pray your mother-in-laws can be treated with surgery and chemo.
The buffet place you went to sounds great, even though it was fried food. I love all seafoods and some fish, especially catfish and hushpuppies. Hang in there!!

Tina...Glad you enjoyed your couple slices of pizza. You earned them girl!!

Lois...Glad you got your walk in and it wasn't too hot for you. Nice that mother nature decided to wait till you were done walking before it started to rain. It was beautiful here as well. Finally back to 70's and only a slight breeze. I'll be out for another walk or two today.

Stepped on the scales this mornning and I was so happy to see I'm back in the 330's. Tomorrow is my weigh in, so I'm hopping for a 2lb loss.
Have a great lossing Sunday girls!

Cheryl

I didn't realize this thread was for people trying to lose 100 pounds by the end of this year! I know I certainly won't make it by then, but by this time next year I will. Also, I'm feeling a little not welcomed here, because when I do post, people just go on talking like I'm not here. I hope all of you have a nice day and get to your goals by the end of 2006.

hiya michelle, i am soooo sorry if we have not made u feel welcome

honestly we are a lovely friendly bunch here and we are not meaning to ignore u or anything u just gotta jump in to the convo, i felt a bit like u when i 1st joined this group but you will soon get to know us.

and dont worry u dont need to lose a hundred by the end of the year its 100lbs in a year from whatever date u start. i started on jan 1st and im not on target so i def wont be finished by the end of the year.

tracey same goes for u, iv done the same lost and gained it back so my total lost isnt as good as some gals here. but dont leave us. its not just about how many pounds u lose in the year we're all just a bunch of gals with lots of weight to lose and we're all here to give each other support and motivation and share tips and advice.

these lovely ladies have given me so much advice and support over the few months that iv been here and im sure if u stick around u will find it as beneficial as i have. i know for me personally i would have given up by now if it wasnt for my 3fc friends encouraging me, iv tried to do this weight loss thing so many times over the years and this is the best iv done and i think this time i might actually get to where i wanna be and its because of these girls....so thank you all of you for helping me on this long and very hard journey.

Ladies, this thread is not just for those trying to lose 100 lbs THIS year because not everyone joined the thread in Jan., at least that's not my take on it. I think 100 lb / 1 Year is just that... no matter when you start and even then... 1 year is just a ball park figure... some folks will lose it in a year and some it may take longer. This thread is for those who want to lose as much as 100 lbs, maybe a little more in approximately a years time no matter when you start.. I hope you guys stick around!

Hello gang . . . Atlantic Canada is on its second day of sunshine in a row. . . and it's actually very mild today as well . . . and boy, is the grass ever looking green after all that rain.

Now for some serious stuff . . .

Tracey Michelle don't you dare go away and leave us. This thread is for anyone and everyone who has bunches of weight they want to lose and needs a few cyber friends to help them along. One of the greatest things about this group is the fact that we all really do care abut each other.

Hey, gang . . . Maybe we should change our name . . . any suggestions?? Let me have your ideas, everybody, and I can give us a really fresh start for May?? We certainly don't want anything as silly as what we are calling ourselves to chase away any of our buddies.

Tracey. . we all started with great expectations and hopes, but I really don't imagine too many of us will actually manage that '100 pounds in 1 year' even if we did start in January '06. That was pretty ambitious. Personally I'll be absolutely thrilled if I lose more than 50 lbs by the end of 2006. I expect to be around here a long, long time and I hope lots of you will still be here with me . . . even the ones who do lose all the weight they want.

Michelle . . . we certainly don't mean to ignore anyone. Be absolutely sure it is not intentional. Sometimes we all get feeling that way a little bit because the group gets kind of wrapped up in a particular problem to the exclusion of some others. I know there have been moments when I've figured I was just a piece of the wallpaper, too, but I know it isn't true.

Liza . . . where do you get off, calling yourself ugly, girl? You are all just lucky that the old-lady, here, doesn't even know how to use a digital camera, or you'd really get to see something scarey . . . maybe not ugly, but definitely scarey.

Tina . . . wow, girl, we'd better not ever lose you. You are probably the very best of all of us about almost always remembering to mention everyone personally.

Robsia . . . Congratulations. Your 'slow' is faster than my 'fast'. But I know you won't forget us when you are a skinny-minny, which will probably be pretty soon.

Diana . . . once again, your resilience and tenacity amaze me. I really hope some better stuff starts happening for you and all your family members really soon. In the meantime, just keep doing the best you can.

Lois . . . Congratulations to you too and thanks for the sun.

Cheryl . . . good for you, too! Your official 2 pounds will be along shortly.

Well, gang, I'd better get a move on. If I missed anybody, I'm sorry and I know, you know, it was just an accident. Have a really great day of moving and shaking and heading in the great downward direction. Here's some of that good stuff to help us along the way.

Thanks, Liza . . . everybody was definitely right . . . he is a handsome young man . . . you have every right to be a proud Momma. Trust me, you are not the only one who doesn't meet all her exercise goals . . . I just figure every little bit is a bunch more than I used to do and hopefully it will go up as the weight goes down. Keep it kicking, kiddo.

OMG!!! That fried food last night has got me feelin' raunchy today! This very minute, I don't care if I never have anything fried again in my life!

This has just been a food weekend, girls! We went to Ryan's today with friends after church. I was pretty good. I had 16 points...but that's all I've had today, so it was okay. I'm up two lbs today, but probably all the sodium from last night, I'm hoping! I'm not getting discouraged, though. It could be worse...I could be layed up in the hospital facing the new reality that I have cancer like my grandmother-in-law. I'm not gonna complain and get discouraged about gaining a couple of lbs! And, I weighed not long after eating that big lunch from today. Tomorrow will look better! And I got into a skirt this morning for church that I hadn't worn in probably a year or more because it was uncomfortably tight. I was going to wear another skirt (it's new...probably only bought it a couple months ago)...but it was too BIG!!! ALREADY!!!! Kinda sad.....cause it's new. I'm gonna wash it in hot water and dry it in the dryer to try to shrink it. May get a few more wears out of it.
Anyway, hope all are having a wonderful day! Hope we can all be LOSERS today!!! heheheheeeeee! Never thought I'd wanna be a loser!

Okay, okay. You don't have to twist my arm. I'll stay.

I was under the impression that this group was specifically for those who wanted to lose 100 pounds this year so I felt I didn't belong. But I guess we are all hitting our bumps along the road and see that maybe that just wasn't a feasible goal.

Well, anyway, it's hard but I definitely want to start losing again. When I think about what I could have loss already if I had just picked myself back up all those times, I get so angry at myself. My problem is, I fall down and I stay down and it takes forever for me to get back up. Then I see others doing so well losing and I'm back to where I started and I feel more depressed. Oh those losing weight blues.

Ok Girls I had 2 1/2 pages of posts to read to catch up with everything that is going on. I have been so busy this weekend I havent even been on the computer. We didnt start on our deck but we did get a new water garden put in and I mowed the yard.

Tracey & Michelle Please dont leave, I seriously doubt I will make the 100 pounds this year but am hoping that by this time next year I will.

Liza I missed the picture of you, with being off the computer all weekend.

Diana, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom-in-law. I will deffinately remember you in my prayers.

Lois, Congrats on the 3 pounds.

Cheryl, Keeping my fingers crossed for you on the 2 pounds you are hoping for.

Tina, I am now hungry for Pizza Hut thanks to you. MMMM I think that will have to be my 50 Pound Reward.

Well Today was my Weigh In Day, and YEAH I dropped 4 more pounds this past week, and I hit my First Mini Goal of 250.

My boss is going to be back in town this week so I wont be able to check in as often as usual but I will make sure to at least once a day, hopefully twice.

Well Ladies its almost a new week. Hope we are all loosers this week.

Default Happy Sunday!

Good Sunday evening girls! I had a good day. Beautiful warm weather, spent a lot of the day outside. Actually just finished a walk with my hubby and daughter (in her wagon). This is my husbands only day off of the week, other than that he's gone from 8:30am till (sometimes) 11pm. I really enjoyed having his company. We're about to have our movie night, chillaxin' on the couch!

Michelle, first of all..thanks for the compliment (even though I feel so funny taking them..LOL). Secondly, I feel awfully sorry that you feel left out. I'm sure it wasn't intentional. We all feel the more the merrier here. I try to mention everyone who has left a post since I last posted. And if I missed you, I am truly sorry. I sincerely hope you give us a second chance as we're in this battle of bulge together.

Robsia, who's having a awesome day?! It's you of course! Congrats on the loss you made this week and surpassing your writing goal. You're very talented and deserve a lot more days like this. You're working so hard and getting results, what a motivation!

Diana, I'm sorry to hear of your Mamaw bad news. I hope that she is able to get through this time as easily as she can with not a lot of suffering. At her age it will take a big toll, whether it be treatable or terminal. My thoughts are with your family. You are amazing with handling yourself around some of your biggest temptations. Way to go!

Liza, good luck on your weigh in tomorrow!

Tracey, what everyone else said! I don't believe anyone has ever stated that this was a thread for ppl who've joined in Jan. to lose 100lbs. Anyone is welcome, and that my dear means you! If you're in need to lose weight, encouragement, support and to be a supporter...then you fit in here as well as the rest of us! I hope you change your mind and continue down this road with us because you deserve it too!

Cheryl,
awesome scales today! Good luck with your weigh in tomorrow! Go Cheryl, Go Cheryl!

Lois, Woo Hoo! You're Rockin'! I know you must be so proud of yourself, it feels great doesn't it!

Linda, thanks..I try to treat each of you all the same. I love you all the same...MY WEIGHT LOSS SISTAS! As for a new thread name....hmmm..gotta think for a moment....Chicks proovin' 100lbs. loosin' .... I don't know I'm not that great at making up things...LOL! I stared at my blinking cursor for about 5 minutes b4 coming up with that. And I just wanted to add..I'm a little concerned about changing our name just in case some old friends may want to look us up again (like Diana) but I would like to see if it intrigues some new faces. Be interesting to see.

Robbin, sounds like you had a calorie burning weekend. Congrats on the four pounds falling off and never to return! YOu're doing awesome! I know hitting that first mini goal does wonders for motivation. As for the pizza...MMmmmm it was good! You'll enjoy it just as much when you hit your 50lb. reward. I promise!

Well I better get back to my hubby. Hope you have a great evening! I'll see you tomorrow!

Hi Again ~ Thank you Liza, Lois, Meowee, Robbin and Tina, for all of your KIND words! This group is the BEST one I have found so far, and I was upset to have to leave, and I'm happy now that I can stay. I have found nowhere else, besides here, where there is so much support, enthusiasm, and motivation! I will learn all of your names better and start keeping track of what each person posts. There are so many going on and I don't know how to do it just yet, but I will. I started making Sundays as my official weigh in day, instead of Wednesdays, and I'm up 2 pounds, probably from the chinese food from last night and the sodium. I hope all of you have a good evening and we'll talk again tomorrow...
