  • Cheryl ~ I'm so sorry about your foster daughter's boyfriend. How terrible and sad this must be, I just cannot even imagine. You just never know from one day, or one minute, to the next. You and your family are in my prayers.

You love the mountains and I absolutely love the beach. I love to even just drive down for a day trip. The drive is just so beautiful and the beaches are so relaxing.

Thank you for the compliments on my daughters. Great job on the weight loss! I have not been doing very good these past few days with eating much and exercising, because of not feeling good, but I finally think I'm starting to get back to normal.

I hope everyone has a wonderful night. I'm gonna go watch American Idol in a little bit to see who gets voted off. Talk to all of you tomorrow...
  • Happy Wednesday!
Hey girls! This is absolute first time I've turned on the computer all day! I know I can't believe it myself! I've been outta the house all day. I went out for a walk first thing, came home and worked outside till almost 1 rushed in got lunch took a quick shower and ran to home depot for some soil and some pots for my railing, kinda like window boxes, but not. Had to rush to make an appointment for an oil change...had to wait there for an hour and a half! Then went to my hubby restaurant for supper...I know, I know..I just said I haven't had chinese food since Jan., but I was so rushed. Had some veggies and a little bit of noodles. Hopefully is wasn't too bad. Then I came home and worked outside again. I haven't even started to rake yet!

Robbin, awww it's too bad your son loss his game. But you're right, it'll get him learning how to not to be a sore loser. Yikes..you were faced with some bad temptation and handled it amazingly. What did you do with the cake afterall? I would of said I was going to take it home to enjoy later and then give it away! LOL

Lois, you know we're here for ya girl. Just like we draw so much strength from you. Congrats on your new personal best! I know you must feel so awesome, keep it coming!

Liza, girl, I think you're getting addicted to the workout instead food. Great idea to keep weights close at hand so you can do a few once in a while through out the day. Looks like you're going to have a lot of fun with your son tomorrow. Enjoy!

Robsia, wow'zers! Congratulations on your new size!! It's so much fun to shop for a new size and I can't wait to get there! YOu great in your new shirt. It's so cute!

Linda, take all the time you need to vent. We know all how frustrating it is to have a nasty scale take over your day. I'm sure it's just fluctuation, hang it there!

Michelle, I took advantage of a little overcast here today. It was cool enough to wear long pants and a sweat shirt but nice to work outside.

Cheryl, that's terrile news about your F-daughters boyfriend. What a shock! I she will be okay trying to deal with this. Congrats on the pounder taking off!

    Have a great night ladies!

    ~Tina
  • Wow, I am running so late this morning, anything that could go wrong did.

Cheryl I just wanted to say how sorry I am about the loss and we will keep you all in our prayers.

Well girls I took the cake home and split it between my 3 boys (daughter is trying to drop a couple of pounds to).

Just wanted to check in and wish everyone a good day. I will check back later.
  • Good Morning All . . . the sun hasn't made it out from behind the cloud cover yet, but it is supposed to get here later . . . hope the forecast is correct. I like the sun at this time of year.

After a poor start yesterday, my day finished up OK, calorie-wise. I couldn't exactly call it well balanced from the diabetes point of view, however; a little too heavy on the starch and fruit. Anyway I feel 'back in the proper groove' this morning and will be guzzling lots and lots of water to try to get things moving again.

Robbin . . . Never even heard of "Skinny Cow". Did I mention how deprived we sometimes feel up here in Canada? I like chocolate frozen yogurt. It's got 90 calories per 1/2 cup and a very, very strong chocolate flavour. Tends to take care of both my ice cream craving and my chocolate craving. I keep it in the freezer in the basement and go down with a little bowl in hand to get just one serving. I know if it was up in the kitchen, it would be just toooooo handy. So far that is working OK.

Liza . . . Isn't it amazing. That fat is just as ugly from the inside as it is from the outside. Thank goodness we are all getting less of it.

Michelle . . . We all go through periods like that, girl. You'll get back on track really soon.

Robsia . . . You are really doing so fantastically well and looking absolutely great. At least when you and Liza talk about sizes, I can relate. Our Canadian sizing is (I think) very similar to British and considerably different from US. Do you know the actual size relationship?

Lois . . . Congratulations. You are doing so well. I can hardly wait to get there. My first goal is 249 because that will be the lowest I've been in at least 4 years (since I started using insulin) and it is pretty close to my losest in at least 10-15 years (goal two). At the rate I'm going, it still seems such a long way away; but I WILL get there.

Cheryl . . . Wow, another pound. Fantastic job. So sorry about the accident in your extended-family. Things happen so quickly sometimes. It's hard to understand, especially when bad things happen to people so young.

Tina . . . Busy, busy, busy . . . you are just bubbling over with energy, chickie. All the activity is bound to cancel out the extra sodium.

Anyway, gang . . . gotta run (figuratively-speaking, of course). I'll be back tonight to stick up the official list for the voting. In the meantime, keep it moving and shaking, buddies.
  • Lets try this again lol
Hello everyone...I am back lol. I know I've been MIA for a while now but life got the better of me and I let myself slide. I've gained back about 5lbs of the 14 I had lost.

I am going to continue on as if this little burp didn't even happen lol. I'm back to my healthy way, I tells ya.

  • I have a quick question...For those of you who count your calories, what online calorie tracker website do you use? I don't care for the one I've been using, and would like to try a new one. Thanks

Have a nice evening. See you soon.
  • My Vote Is D
Howdy chickies, hope everyone had a good pound droppin day. I feel I did pretty good on the eating and got in about 15-20 minutes of some exercising , so not so bad today. I am rather sleepy this evening and think I am gonna curl up in bed with a good book for awhile before I go to sleep.

Meowee, I am starting to feel pretty sorry for Canadians. You havent heard of Skinny Cow and Tina, cant find fat free hot dogs. If it wasnt for my Skinny Cow and Hot Dogs I would go crazy . I love hot dogs and ice cream.

Robsia, do you know what your size 14 converts to in US sizes? You look GREAT. I cant wait for the 14's, no matter whos size chart it is on.

Dragontush, Welcom Back it is nice to meet you. That 5 pounds will drop off in no time with a little .

Lois happy dance for your 1/2 pound gone.

Tina, The busy little bee. Bet your yard looks great, and remember the offer still stands if you ever feel the need to do yard work and have none of your own remember I have 10 acres of it.

    Well All good night

  • Remember me, everyone?! Long time, no see, eh? Sorry I just kinda dropped off there, but I was having a really bad time with anxiety, and I just wasn't in the mood to be social. I am feeling MUCH better though, and am ready to JUMP back in with you wonderful ladies! I know I must have missed out on TONS that I won't be able to catch up on....but I'll skim the post so I can at least have some idea as to what has gone on in your lives! Has anyone heard from Paula yet? Is she back?

I need to update my ticker! My weight loss has slowed down, but I am still chuggin' along! I am working out twice a day now, and I love it! I just don't feel right until I have worked up a good sweat!
  • [SIZE="3"][FONT="Arial"]Oh, here is a pic of my kids and me on Easter and then one of my kids!

  • Hi Cassie ~ I was just commenting on your posts over at WATP. Those are the only videos I am working out to 6 days a week, and I love them and Leslie! She's the BEST!!!

I do videos 6 days a week too, twice a day, in fact! I MUST do WATP at least once a day.... I just love it! Leslie Sansone is so great to workout to!
  • Happy Thursday!
Good evening all. Hope you all had a great day. I just came home from the theatre. I took my daughter to see "the Wild". And YES I did stay away from ALL treats! I bought a bottle of water to sip. I finally finished up my yard, and even mowed it! Looking good now.

Linda, glad to hear you're finding your groove again today. BTW-they have skinny cow here, at Costco and Superstore (grocery). I've had the sandwiches before and I saw the fudgicles today.

DragonTush, nice to see you again. Glad to have you back and in the game. Welcome back!

Michelle, thanks. I hope I'm not faced with chinese food again too soon. Or else I'll have to get the ginger beef, deep fried battered beef...not good. I use good ol' pen and paper for track my calories and fat grams.

Robbin, I looked for those Oscar Meyers weiners today, but no show. I just think I need to try a different store. Not all grocery stores carry all name brands. I think this yard is enough for me! Thanks for the offer. LOL!

Cassie, thought we lost you to the twilight zone! Glad to see you again. Your pics look great. Still no sight of Paula..I think her computer went blitz. The last thing she talked about was trying to figure something out on it to fix.

    Night ladies! See you tomorrow!
    ~Tina
