Good Morning All . . . the sun hasn't made it out from behind the cloud cover yet, but it is supposed to get here later . . . hope the forecast is correct. I like the sun at this time of year.
After a poor start yesterday, my day finished up OK, calorie-wise. I couldn't exactly call it well balanced from the diabetes point of view, however; a little too heavy on the starch and fruit. Anyway I feel 'back in the proper groove' this morning and will be guzzling lots and lots of water to try to get things moving again.
Robbin
. . . Never even heard of "Skinny Cow". Did I mention how deprived we sometimes feel up here in Canada?

I like chocolate frozen yogurt. It's got 90 calories per 1/2 cup and a very, very strong chocolate flavour. Tends to take care of both my ice cream craving and my chocolate craving. I keep it in the freezer in the basement and go down with a little bowl in hand to get just one serving. I know if it was up in the kitchen, it would be just toooooo handy. So far that is working OK.
Liza . . . Isn't it amazing.

That fat is just as ugly from the inside as it is from the outside. Thank goodness we are all getting less of it.
Michelle . . .

We all go through periods like that, girl. You'll get back on track really soon.
Robsia . . . You are really doing so fantastically well and looking absolutely great.

At least when you and Liza talk about sizes, I can relate. Our Canadian sizing is (I think) very similar to British and considerably different from US. Do you know the actual size relationship?
Lois . . . Congratulations.

You are doing so well. I can hardly wait to get there. My first goal is 249 because that will be the lowest I've been in at least 4 years (since I started using insulin) and it is pretty close to my losest in at least 10-15 years (goal two). At the rate I'm going, it still seems such a long way away; but I WILL get there.
Cheryl . . . Wow, another pound.

Fantastic job. So sorry about the accident in your extended-family. Things happen so quickly sometimes.

It's hard to understand, especially when bad things happen to people so young.
Tina . . . Busy, busy, busy . . . you are just bubbling over with energy, chickie.

All the activity is bound to cancel out the extra sodium.
Anyway, gang . . . gotta run (figuratively-speaking, of course). I'll be back tonight to stick up the official list for the voting. In the meantime, keep it moving and shaking, buddies.
