Good morning, everyone.

Curly, I too had to take a pause day yesterday on my menu followng I swear, feels like this wagon is parked on a trampoline, the way we keep bouncing on and off it this week.

Joy - congrats on the huge victory. And Aileigh too on the loss

Marbles - I love your PRICELESS comment. Too funny.

Everyone else, sorry I don't say more. Today is going to be a bit of a challenge. I did something to my knee last night - I don't know how or when. I may have to go in and get it checked, as it is really hard to bear weight. Scares me, as I am making progress on the riding and working out, despite the backsliding in eating this week. I did, however, put my trainer on the case, and she is going to give me a buttkicking to get me back making better food choices.

Have a great day all

Red face slippin' pretty bad...

Hi all. Just a quick note here to let you all know I have not fallen out. No time to write and I am in for a VERY busy and long day.

Things are not looking pretty with my challenges, though I'm still hanging on by my teeth. When I stumble I tend to go down for the count. BUT, I'm trying to at least stay on my feet this time.

Oh, gross, I had a gross dream just before. I had gained sooo much weight, especially in my face. I really looked gross. Alas, it's not all a dream. I HAVE gained weight. It's no wonder.....gotta get smart!

No sugar challenge Day 4 one left
No white flour Day 5 none left
No alcohol Day 4 one left
Journal Day 5 one left
Crunches Day 6 two left

chai, thanks! I was able to control myself with the guy at work, talked to him without going ballistic. Swung it somehow with a lot of logic and turning it around to show how I could help him stop doing such ridiculous things and help me at the same time AND I got a writing assignment! ai, all the challenges get to be a bit much. But, they keep me busy, which I think is a good thing. Shad, good to hear from you. marb, svelte you! glad to have you back! Others, a big hello and loads of encouragement! Gotta run!

notched another day (march 25) on all three challenges. I might have to do a calorie challenge next though, as I'm having some trouble with the whole moderation thing. Oh well - g'night!

Keep on Truckin!

Good mroning all.

OK. Hopefully, at the end of today, I will come back and report day 6 of no and day 1 (yes, that's right) of following my menu, complete.

I am off to the gym shortly. My knee is doing well enough I think I can handle the bike, and then relax in the hot tub. Hopefully then be able to ride.

I need a strong kick in the butt re eating. HELP!!!

Saturday: Day #2 down
10 push-ups, 1 set of bi-cep curls, 1 set of side lats, a whopping 3 mins. on the elliptical and 2 sets of 12 abs.

Sunday: Day #3
1 set of 10, one set of 5 push-ups, 1 set of biceps, 1 set of side lats, 5 mins. on the elliptical, 3 sets of 13 abs.

Do I get credit for scrubbing floors, removing the biggest dust-horses (much bigger than dust-bunnies), moving 3 rooms of furniture around and doing 5 loads of laundry? I also moved this saddle-leaf philodendron that must weigh over 200 lbs across the room....I laid on the carpet and pushed the darn thing with my legs....(much easier on the back!). The house is finally looking like it should after my 5 month pause....(the old regulars might remember that I fractured my shoulder and was unable to do anything else after my house remodelling, except look at the huge mess....now I can finish sealing the new french doors and put up some curtains!)

Exercise Day 3, had to pause. Well, I didn't HAVE to, but I did. Day 4 journal, still no success starting sit ups or water. I think the problem with the water is that I don't start thinking about it until later in the afternoon. I just go straight for the coffee in the morning.
Jolly, I hope your knee is better!
Curly, I am amazed at your progress!!!Way to go!!!

Hey all. Day 1 - follow menu challenge and Day 6 - no challenge - complete.

Had a better day today. Knee is almost better. Had a good ride on the horse. Worked out. Ate more sensibly.

I have decided on a good reward for myself - I have become totally addicted to the Australian soap "McLeod's Daughters" which is on the W.E. channel here. When I hit major goals, I am going to by the season DVDs on ebay. The guys are so hot! I love it

Have a good evening all, and here's to all of us finding our way back and/or staying on the wagon for some time to come!

I have made it through day 4. But I really feel as though my body is fighting something. So I go back and forth between feeling fine and feeling really worn out... I found a great pilates/yoga workout that really makes me feel stretched.... I was surprised because it is one of those dvd's done by an instructer no one has ever heard of. Well, I have been cramming for my exam & practical and so off to do more I go.

Sorry you are not feeling so well, Aimee... but glad you made your day. Don't feel "guilty" if you need to take it easier until you are feeling better!!
