Quick quick... 21-day running challenge complete with 37 minutes yesterday - my record time! However, February running challenge continues, I still need 187.5 minutes this month. So it's Day 1 today again.

It's my first 'no more work' day, haven't had the energy to come up with any other challenge yet.

Good morning all! This is just a quick check-in. Hopefully I will have time to read all the posts from this weekend and yesterday later today. I did see that Sushi completed her 21-day challenge though. Congratulations!!! You are going to be running marathons in no time!

I am so behind in updating fitday, but I have all my food for the long weekend scribbled on various pieces of paper. I took my first of 2 pause days for my calories on Sunday, and my first of 2 pause days for exercise yesterday.

So - when it all shakes out, I have finished day 8 for both challenges. Friday was 1456 calories/41 minute yoga dvd; Saturday was 1374 calories/30 minutes on elliptical plus 1 1/2 hours of shopping and trying on clothes. (FYI, I am fitting back into a size 8 at J. Crew ) Sunday was a bad food day at 1902 calories (I told y'all I was going to make up for dumping wine down the drain ) but 45 minutes on the elliptical; Monday was 1463 calories and 35 minutes on elliptical; and Tuesday was 1065 calories (I know, a little low, but I got crazy at work again and didn't want to eat a whole lot when I got home at midnight) and no workout.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend, and I should be able to catch up with everything later this afternoon (i hope!)

Good morning all. Curly and Cbeta - hope you feel better soon. Ouch!

Heather, I am sending motivation your way.

Fish - congrats on finishing your running challenge - Hooray!

I am off to the barn and the gym. Hope to have a great day. I am working on day 17 of no soda and day 16 of following menu. I am almost there. Ready to start new challenges too. My "stealth" goal is to be under 200 by my birthday. (hopefully WELL under). I want to go visit my friend that just came up here, and I want to look a lot healthier.

Have a super day all.

Default Head finally out of the sand!!!

Goodmorning ALL!!!

Feeling much much better today. I am going to be changing my challenges around about before I start again. I will continue to do the 8 glasses of water and the food on fitday. I am thinking about starting the WATP 2 miles instead of the 1 mile because I like it more and time passes by faster with it. Plus after the 1 mile I don't feel like I have really done anything, but I will get back to you all on this one in a couple of day. Maybe I will just say WATP and alternate between the two and who knows, maybe some days add then together and make it 3. I really want to do a challenge dealing with my carb intake but I need to gather some more info first. I may as well go ahead and tell you guys, I am back up to 261, shame on me. But you know the best part of that is that I now know I can lose it. It's doable. I never if realized before that my weight was in my hands. Ok, for my shoutouts:

Hey Red, Angel of Encouragement.

CBETA, I totally agree with you about what spring brings , that was sweet of you to point out.

Sushi, You ROCK!!!!!!! Cut up!!!!!!

Curly, thank you so much for all the great advice. You are a whiz. Not yet able to buy another book, so I may have a few more questions.

Fish, you are doing great.

Jolly girl, aren't you just moving right along. Good deal!!

Hey Marblefly and the rest of you soldiers!!!

I wouldn't even waste the time looking for them in our little library. Most of the books are so old the pages are thin and yellow.

Thumbs up

Hi Red - Great thread!! Nice to meet everyone - Great Starts & lets all win!!!

Hey Carla - GO GIRL - I KNOW I can't do 21 days without wine!! I would have to start over and over - or have too many pause days!!

So my challenge is going to be to exercise at least 30 minutes every day!! I will put that at a Level 3 (that'll give me 3 pause days - right?).

Ok I sat down and pre-planned what I will eat today.
So far worked out 700 calories, scary - this means that I've been eating this much or less for the last two month, except for the days when I bought food... Strange - I was not hungry though... I counted carbs, must tell you they were 50 grams, if I dont' add anything in...and i know I will. These and Fats, which took up about 50% of my daly carolieris are hard to manage. perhaps I need to look into those poweder protein stuff...not sure if it's something I can manage though...
Curly did you doctor recommend the protein powerder? How much a day?

Good evening everyone. I had a very good day. Hopped on the treadmill again. Did ok. Also got out for a riding lesson - man, I can't skip rides anymore. Either that or I need to get Suzanne Sommers thighmaster! He killed me.

Tia - glad to see you back. And it is a great feeling when you realize it is your choice. My daddy always says "if the mind can perceive it than the body can achieve it." You go girl!

Marble and '06 - glad you had good days.

Surf - welcome

Cbeta - How is your knee? Also, we put one of my clients on protein powder. It is helping her gain/maintain her weight.

Have a great night all. I am off to watch . . . oh wait, no. I am off to nap on the couch. That seems to be what I am doing with my time off. Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Ah well. That is good too.
