Tracey: Hope your daughter's feeling better. Get some oranges into that girl! The vitamin C really helps. Hopefully it's just a cold and not the flu, but even so colds last 7 days no matter what you do. My little guy had a runny nose for an entire week, then it stopped suddenly. He was fine otherwise, but it was sure messy!

Carafre & Amanda: Okay, I went back through the posts I missed and noticed you both have sick children. I really hope they're all getting better and no one else is sick! It's so hard when our little ones don't feel well, isn't it? Especially when they're too young to understand.
Keep taking care of those little guys, give them lots of love and kisses (the best medicine!), wash hands often, keep filling them full of vitamin C, and we'll see you back here when they're all better!
Hey all, I will be in & out - hubby broke his collarbone pretty bad & had surgery yesterday. I've been busy with him & the kids. Kids are better, but then I got the stomach virus and feel better today. Will promise to get on here soon and catch up with my ss family!!! good vibes& love to all!!!~~~~~~~~

Carafre: Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about your hubby's collarbone! That must be so scary for all of you with him going through surgery. I hope it was successful and he starts getting better right away. I'm glad you're finished with the stomach virus, too. I had it last year and the year before, and although it only lasts 24 hours or even less, it's no fun at all. Well, I didn't really exercise yesterday but I ate pretty well. Actually, I went to the mall with the Sir and walked around, so that's some exercise anyway. I'm really starting to feel overwhelmed with renovating the house, taking care of the little guy, normal household chores (which always seem to be lowest priority lately), cats, exercise, and everything else. So last night I sort of sketched out a daily routine for myself and hope to stick to it. Here's to turning over a new leaf!

Morning ladies. Well I haven't started off the month well so far, I haven't exercised that past two days. Today I exercise no matter what. Hopefully I'll be able to get some food shopping done tomorrow, I don't really have any food in the house.
I havn't been to the gym in 2 days!.. aaaah... my muscles were so sore so i took some time off.. but am going back today .. just waiting for hubby to wake up and then i'm off
Good Morning Ladies, how is everyone doing. I am doing ok i guess. I am mad, i gained 2 pounds!! I really don't know why...the only thing i could guess is Aunt Flo is visiting in the next couple of days......last night i was cramping so bad i could not even walk....so i hope thats the reason. Cause i really have not done "that" bad this week!! I really want to start seeing a loss!!

Alisha - I was so proud of myself. I did exercise. I kept putting it off and kept putting it off and next thing you know it was after 7 so I was going to forget about it. But then I kicked myself in the butt and thought, "It may be after 7 but the day ain't done yet." And I got off my tookus and got in 40 minutes with Turbo Jam.
Unfortunately, it looks like I caught whatever Mikayla has and I feel so crappy today. So I've decided to make today my rest day instead of tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll feel up to it come tomorrow.
Good morning everyone. Everyone is better now, thank goodness. I still havent cought the stomach thing, but my mom and brother didnt catch it either, so I am hoping i share some of their immunity to this one, lol. The weeks of bad eating and non existent exercise has caught up w/ me I've gained 2 pounds and am now up to 203.4 lbs I dont know what is wrong w/ me. This week I have eat and eat, to the point of being so full that I have had heartburn almost every night (I dont normally have heartburn)
I am ready to get back on track. I am going to have to go cold turkey on the sweets again (they have been my biggest problem the last couple of weeks) or I am never going to get this fat off.
Cara, Sorry to hear about your DH's collar bone, Hope the surgery goes well, I'll pray for him.
Alisha and Cindy: Thanks for the well wishes I'll be posting regularly again now. I have definitely noticed that I eat much worse when I am not checking in here everyday.
Everyone else: I hope you are doing well, I'll try to catch up on all the posts later.
My goals for this week:
1. DO NOT give in to my cravings for sweets
2. Drink 4 bottles of water per day (16oz each)
3. Workout w/ Kathy Smith video at LEAST 3 times this week
4. Start logging everything that goes into my mouth in fitday to keep me on track

Well, ladies I lost some weight!!! Finally!!!!! I am back down to 200!!!!!! I am still exercising as much as I can. Trying to up my water & eat healthy. My challenge for this week is no soda!!!!! I have been drinking 2 cokes a week and that's a lot for me!!!!!
Its been a busy weekend so far so I haven't been able to post. Yesterday was awful. I didn't follow any of my plans goals or anything. I felt horrible and got into that "who cares" attitude and just wanted to quit. Something in the back of my mind keeps me going just a little bit but I wish that voice would move to the front of my brain and yell at me so I can stay on track. All my worst doings are taking over my best intentions. I don't like it!
Gonna get some breakfast in me so I can have a bit more energy and start my day. Hubby is on a mission today to take all the unneeded crap around here to the dump. So...I'll be working!

Alisha, You're doing great so keep positive. If you slide a little, just shake it off and keep up the Good Job! Never heard of Sugar Busters, but after this past week would recommend EatingForLife check it out at the DOTcom. I use protein bars and meal replacement shakes made from powder and water. You might also check into measuring body fat percentage. My YMCA does it free with a fit check which they'll do at least once every other month. I'm at 37% body fat . In 12 weeks, I will have it at 27% body fat. I'm going to definitely work at it .
Amanda, on meeting your goals. You can do it! FitDay will be a habit for me in a week (1 whole month of recording - minus one day where I probably consumed 8000 calories when Sylvia was sick and wouldn't eat).

CindyB-Just keeping up with SIR is probably a work out! Don't forget to dance with him and that'll help the lbs melt off. The daily routine really helps me written down. I put mine in excel. If you want a copy, I'll e-mail it to you. Don't laugh at how ridiculous the goals are. It's not like I get everything done for any day. It's just something to work toward.
Jenn - I did the upper body one day and the lower body the next. I started each one off with a 20 minutes power walk on the treadmill. I'm doing upper body on Thursday and lower body on Tuesday. You are an inspiration. Keep it up. Please!

I'm doing okay. Not really loosing any weight lately, but this coming Tuesday it will be 7 weeks since Tim & I quit smoking (lost 7 lbs since then though). I have started to change my eating habits this last week thanks to Eating for Life and have exercised all but Saturday. Hopefully this isn't the two steps forward before the 10 steps back! Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Challenge to All-> Drink more water, at least 64 oz. Have you been drinking your H2O?
New challenge -> just record 1 day in Fitday.com (you can check mine out http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/PublicJ...Owner=lmh65836 ) both food and activities. It can really help you get a handle on what you eat and what you do all day (don't forget all of the Home Activities).
I was out of town this weekend so I couldn't check in. I weighed Saturday morning before we left and I am the same as last week, so that's okay. However, these baseball and soccer weekends suck for nutritional eating, we must have been to McDonald's 4 times in 2 days! So I've got to get on the ball this week if I want to lose anything by Saturday. That's my goal this week!
I'll check in again later, I have to go grocery shopping. I usually go on Fridays but my schedule is all messed up! I'll be back this afternoon.

PS: I have to share this with you, especially with the person who suggested I dance around with the Sir for exercise: We usually watch Barney every day just before his nap, and on Friday the theme was "exercise". Barney told us to get up and exercise with him, and I did! Dryden was looking at me like I was crazy, but at least I got some exercise in on such a busy day! Maybe I can start a new craze: Body By Barney! (I already look sort of like him, except the purple hue..)

Today my sister is comming down with her kids and we're going for a walk again.. the weather is fantastic here today .
