Hi All~ Be Strong! We can do what ever we set our minds to do!

I so needed to read these posts today! I need all the PEP TALKS anyone has (carafre keep it up - roll model remember ).

The Saturday makeover and exercise got me through Sunday, Monday morning only. By Monday afternoon, she threw up twice and had diarrhea once and just wanted to be held. Tuesday morning she had green snot so got her an appointment (was that only yesterday?). No infection even if she did have green snot. The Dr said she might be a little dehydrated, but her mouth was moist and to not worry about what she was eating and let her have what ever she wants. Today she's moving around more and getting into trouble again and drinking (water only) as well as eating. Thank GOD!

I ate like crap Sun,Mon,Tue, and today and no exercise. I'm doing the start over tomorrow! Putting it out of mind these last 4 days.

Remember all you exercisers that muscle weighs more than fat! Switch up your exercise routine and you'll probably break that plateau. Focus on healthier and all the reasons why to be healthier.

I weigh Mondays with my work out buddy (whom I've invited to come check us out), but I'm not weighing this week since I'll be okay if I haven't gained on Monday. I am not going to be afraid to be a healthier SMALLER me (some days that is hard). I am not going to beat myself over the head with my weight. I am a person worthy of my daughter Sylvia (she is my motivator - I want to get down on the floor and play with her for hours not just 30 min and then pant for air).

Challenge to all of you --- Drink more water, at least 64 oz. I usually drink 192 oz. I have a 24 oz water bottle that I refill from the tap 8 times a day. Flush the toxins out of your system (I think that is the only reason why I didn't get as sick - just had a super lag in energy and a little diarrhea).

carafre-I'm still doing the oranges (got a 10 lb bag ) so will pass for now on the fresh blueberry's (my Mom swears by them), but I do a few dried blueberry's in my oatmeal in the mornings.

chris-I feel a lot of empathy; and HOW DO YOU DO IT!?! I just have Sylvia & you have 3! I didn't even have the energy to brush my teeth Monday night.

Cindy B-I'm so jealous of you getting to go see Shawn Mullins in a private concert. I saw him perform with The Thorns here in Omaha 3 or 4 years ago. I really enjoyed it!

Jenn-Great to have you! You'll really enjoy it here with the Slimmin SAHMmies!

Good Evening Ladies, how is everyone doing?? Good i hope, sorry i have not been posting much lately...i think i too am like cynthia i have not really been doing that good lately...so i am so disappointed myself, can someone kick me really hard!! I don't know where my motivation went but i want it back!! Anyways i am happy to report that we got a new car, so thats finally a stress off our shoulders...well sorda now we have to pick up makin payments again.....

Chris: The weigh you feel is the way i feel, i think most of us feel this way. But one day at a time, i think we will get there....and we will never wanna go back.....i know we can do it, i just think for me i need a kick in the butt, my motivation has gotten real low....but i think i am starting to get tired of not doing anything!! I am ready!!

Amanda: Sounds like most of us had a tuff week! Lets make a promise to ourselfs, to no matter what get back on plan no latter than Sunday or Monday this week!! Deal??

Cynthia: I am so glad that the little sir did good with the babysitter, was the babysitter some one you knew?? Did you meet with them before? So he would be comfortable?? Shawn Mullins...i know that person, name a song that he did that was a #1 hit....i can't think of it!! Not to sound stupid but who is Clark Howard??

HEy Mel...Sounds like you've been a busy woman! Great job on being down again...woo hoo!

Alisha-Yah...I think we all need to stay strong and we can do this. I went and did my workout at the gym today. I'm still sick feeling. YUCK, but I did it anyway.

Nett-Some days I wonder how I get through. How is your kids? Feeling better. Okay..I wanna know, what's with the oranges????

I'm sorry, I know I forgot some people, but I feel super nauseous. My rheumatolist put me on some antibiotics because my C-Reactive Protein was way above the norm. It's supposed to be below .8 and for active inflammation of my arthritis it would be around 1.7, but my count came back at 7.8 and my joints aren't hurting at all. He said bacterial infections cause numbers like that. So here I am on a 5 day stint of Z-pack. OOHH..yuck! I'm still coughing, achy and wheezing. On well.

Challenge to All-> Drink more water, at least 64 oz. Have you been drinking your H2O?
New challenge -> just record 1 day in Fitday.com (you can check mine out http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/PublicJ...Owner=lmh65836 ) both food and activities. It can really help you get a handle on what you eat and what you do all day (don't forget all of the Home Activities).

Alisha/Amanda/carafre/chris/CindyB/Jenn/Mel- Thinking about you all. 'Nothing never did a thing.' We are not 'nothing'. We are strong powerful women and mothers!

chris-Hope you and yours are all well. When I first started reading this thread, someone had a challenge or suggestion to eat oranges. So I bought 5 lb bag then a 10 lb bag> ate most of them while sick!

Sylvia drank 3 times the amount that she drank on Tuesday- Yeah! We are all on the road to recovery. I did a 40 min Kathy Smith interval aerobics today during Sylvia's nap. Sylvia and I went shopping - she threw a fit while waiting for the cashier to check out the bananas cause she wanted one. I must be doing something right with her eating habits (all except the chocolate long johns - she has the biggest smile on her face when she gets those [twice so far]). I have healthy stuff in the fridge. Tim is on the band wagon to eat healthier too!

I'm guessing I must really have had an infection because today I almost feel normal. Still blowing my nose constantly but I don't have that tight feeling in my chest and my head feels nowhere near as congested as it did. Chest feels better too. Glad for that.

Just a quick note to say the day went okay. Didn't eat as well as I could have but didn't go overboard either. I really have to get off of here though. I have a test to take before midnight...

Hey everyone! I'm doing pretty well with my eating this week. Sorry i havent been posting, but another stomach virus has settled on our house. DH has been sick since last weekend, and I was up all night last night w/ Haleigh, between the vomiting and fevers, its been horrible. Christian and I havent got it yet, but I know its coming. So If I dont post for a while you know what's going on

Anyway, I gotta get off here for now and try to get some housework done. I'll check in as soon as I am able

Hey Sue...I think this flu season is just horrible. Our whole house has had it and the only one who didn't was my husband, who happened to have sense enough to get a flu shot this year.

Hi all! I've been babysitting for my sister today otherwise I would have posted earlier. I have alot of homework still to do. I did get some of it done today. I'll work on it more tonight. Each of my daughters has a cousin spending the night tonight so I'm hoping they can entertain themselves enough without me.

Hi ladies. I've been gone for about a month. I started going through some stuff and stopped exercising and started eating crap again. Lately, I've been feeling like how I eat and I had to realize that it had to do with my change back to my old ways. I had lost 20 pounds and something tells me that I have gained it all back. I am frustrated with myself but determined to get back on track.

Hi Cara, hope your kids are getting better. I dealt with the sick ones all the last two weeks. Last weekend I got sick and am still not quite 100%. Lots of that junk going around.

Okay ladies. Gotta go. I'm in the middle of watching THE SAW II. I love the creepy horror shows and psychological thrillers.

Good morning ladies, I lost like 1/2 pound this week, lol. I'm at 200.6 this morning. (Much better than gaining, like I have been lately) My daughter seems to be feeling a little better this morning. She hasnt thrown up since yesterday afternoon, and hasnt had a fever since last night...Hopefully this is the end of it for her (crossing fingers). DH is still sick, I dont know why it has affected him so badly, but he has lost 10lbs this week!!!! Christian and I still havent got it. And my Mom and Brother never got it (and they were exposed to it over 3 weeks ago!) Oh well, they never get sick anyway, lol.

Anywho, I gotta get off here. DH wants to try to go find him a truck today.

Good Morning Ladies! How is everyone doing? Good i hope? Sorry i have been MIA the last couple of days...been busy doing errands......Anyways for weigh in i really don't have EXCITING news i didn't loose but i didn't gain, and i really thought i would because i ate horrible this week.....so i guess i can't really complain. Hey my new goal is to loose 20-30 pounds by June.....I AM GOING TO DO IT AND I NEED YOU LADIES TO KICK ME IN THE BUTT IF I FALL OFF THE WAGON!! I am going to start watching my carbs again, but not as strict as the atkins diet again......i will try and cut out pasta, rice, bread, and get some healthy carbs like fruit, and FF yogurt. I went shopping yesterday and i got some FF yogurt and some LF Mozz cheese sticks and some veggies...so i am BACK on plan this week and DETERMINED!!

Amanda: WOOHOO on the 1/2 pound something is better than nothing or like you said its DEFINTLY better than a gain!! You go girl!! I am glad you are feeling better take it easy and let your body TOTALLY recover!!

Tea: Welcome back sweetie!! I totally understand about not being on track the last month or so i have totally given up this month but i am back and ready to start seeing some kind of loss!!!

Cara: Take care of your babies and try not to catch it yourself....here **passing** you the ~~~~LYSOL~~~~

Mommy9802, i also have the goal of 30lbs by June.
My birthday is JUNE 23RD.. and our first wedding anniversary is June 24th.. so i'd really like to look good for thoes two celebrations
