Hey guys. I have been having major trouble with my puter today so I am not sure if I will be taking it to get fixed all the way through or not so if I diappear it will only be for a short time...or until I throw this one through the window and beg for another one. It was totally broken this morning and luckily one of our neighbors fixes them so Jay ran it down and he said the memory card was bad and put a new one in and walah it now works buit it is so slow. I copied all my pictures and deleted the files hoping to make it go faster but nope...

I didnt get any exercise in today because we have been screwing with this friggin thing and we put the tree up too.

Good Morning girls!!! Who is ready to get down to some weight loss business??? I am definately going to do something for exercise today although it WONT be outdoors because we got alot of freezing rain last night and everything is like a bottle this morning. The kids even got school cancelled. I have noticed that on any week vacation they get..it snows or something on the first day they are supposed to go back and it gets cancelled. haha

I am so happy because I woke up this morning and the tree was still standing with all the ornaments on it. I thought for sure the 2 kittens would have climbed it. Oh yeah, I got a HUGE tree. It touches the ceiling. It didnt look that big when I picked it. hahaha Of course right now Teddy is nibbling on a branch.

Well, I really should get moving. I hope you all get to post today and let me know how your Thanksgiving went.

Good morning I don't know what happened to my post last night. I swear it went through but now I'm reading up on the thread and it doesn't even show up. Anyway, we went to the Bishop Museum yesterday, they have a new exhibition hall where they built a volcano. You can walk into it and through a lava tube, go upstairs to the top and look down into it and even press some buttons to make gas and magma erupt from the top. It's neat. Angie, I think Jay would get a kick out of it--it's not as impressive as the real thing of course, but it's a lot safer to watch. We had lunch at Dave & Busters afterward and I ate a little too many chips and salsa and this good queso....but I did have a grilled chicken ceasar salad and no dinner so I think I did alright.

Angie, you got your tree up already? ho ho ho!! I walked past a tree lot yesterday and just enjoyed the sweet smells. We usually have a fishing line tacked to the wall to help hold the tree up. How are Rebel, Candy and Mickey? Have you dressed them up for Xmas yet?

Dips, I know those extra pounds will slide off once you get back on track. Now, hop to it ! hehe, I couldn't resist throwing in that little drill sergeant for ya.

Hi to Kempy, Julie, Cal, Cherie, Red and everyone. Have a good day and hope to see more chatter around here.

Hi Girls

Can you all believe it is going to be December? This fall has went by so fast. Our Thanksgiving weekend was nice. Saturday night we took the kids to a Christmas outdoor light show at a botanical garden in town. It was really pretty. They have wood chip trails through the woods with lots of differnt lights in the trees and lighted flowers and animals. Saturday and Sunday I got on the treadmill!!!! I am planning on going on it today when I get my laundry done and my tubs scrubbed out. I will be burning calories until I get to it! I made a beef roast in the oven yesterday. I have leftovers and I may make bbq beef on buns, philly cheese steaks or have it with gravy and mashed potatoes?

Angie glad your tree stayed up over the night. I think we are going to cut ours down this weekend. I can't wait to smell up the house with a fresh cut tree.

Noelle I hope your doctors appointment goes well. I bet you will be pleased with your weigh in!

Dips I gained two pounds from the weekend of eating. But I am working on it. Those pounds will come off in no time.

Well girls my work is calling. It is rainy and dark here and I would love to curl up on the couch but I just can't. Talk soon. Have a great Monday!

Hi girls, it's lunch time here but I am going to hold off on eating until after my drs. appt. Hopefully that'll help me on the scale.

Julie, your turkey-day and weekend sounded awesome. Good job on getting on that treadmill! The hardest part is starting up again isn't it?

My house has a $ collection can going on for king crab legs and prime rib for Christmas dinner. Yum!!! I don't know how much I'm putting in yet because Rick and I seem to donate the most--and it's my sis, her husband and her 3 boys (2 adults and 1 teenager) that seem to eat the most crab. I think I'm gonna suggest that we pay per person, that way they have to shell out money if they want to eat. Gosh, I guess I'm hungry because all I can think about is food...

Anyway, I'm actually hard at work here so I better get back to it. (I have to actually work one day a week or I feel guilty )

Hey girls! I have been running steady today. I think I have packages coming in by every way possible this week. I love shopping on the intenet. hehe

Noelle, Good Luck at your doctors appointment today. No, I havent humiliated the dogs yet this year but I will get right on that.

Julie, Your weekend did sound like fun. We dont have anything like that near us.

Well, today I managed to get in 45 minutes for a workout and eat on track so far.

Oh I wanted to tell you guys that if you like any of the things at Aeropostale, they are having a great giveaway right now. I actually ordered last week and again this week for the free teddy bear. You just order 7 items(clearance counts) and they give you a free bear with an Aeropostale coat on. I got my first one today and it is so cute and about a foot tall. Really nice. You can buy them there too and they cost $29.50. I actually ordered a bunch of the clearance items and paid less for both of my orders than the bear originally cost. So now Brit and Alicia get another gift. I am so cheap. haha

C'mon, where is everybody? We need to liven this place up.

Default Ciao Snow Bunnies!!

My oh my. Getting back into the daily grind SUCKED so bad I just wish I could have had another few days of laziness. But what can ya do?

Anyways I am SO EXCITED I'm going to meet with a breeder this saturday and by next week I could be the owner of a new Yorkie!! I always wanted one and this past weekend I was playing with my friend's chihuahua, Bella and I got that feeling. I want a pup of my own. So I'm gonna go for it. I'll keep you all posted on that.

Kempy, you poor dear . I hope you feel better soon.

Angie- You are doing so well. I couldn't be more proud of you. I'm gonna go back to phase one of SBD for two weeks just to knock off this thanksgiving chub. I also have to find a way to get some more cardio in. At any rate I am gonna be one fly diva by Valentines day. I just may be without a man by then BTW, I am all about the clearence items, it's not cheap, its smart!!

Noelle- You are doing awesome too! I'm going to pretend I didn't see that bit about the chips, salsa and queso It's still the holiday season so we can let some things slide for the next month.

J- work that treadmill, babe! Don't let it collect dust, feel the burn And you're right about the fleeting fall season but the quicker we get to winter, the quicker we get it over with. Winter is for the birds! It's actually pretty war out here though. In the fifties today! I know it won't last but boy it felt great today.

Hope everyone else is doing well. TTYL

Heh guys, sorry I was AWOL. I just got so busy and am just recovering from the work...well, I was trying to...but it looks like I'll be busy again and then I leave next week for HK...sigh....it was a very busy week with the Japan Cup here, two big international races. But I got through them...though I must say the damage done has me feeling so down ...I put back on all the fat I'd taken off I think and I did so want to be feeling good for HK. Oh well...I hope you're all doing ok. Will try to get in the swing of things soon...ciao for now.

Good Morning everyone!! I have gotten in a 30 minute workout already this morning and eaten my cereal so I am good to go for the day. Not much happening here today, I am waiting for a guy to come up and look at the old convection oven we have for sale, I hope he buys it because that will give me a nice boost for Christmas.

Red, I hope you get a chance to rest. I am sure the weight will come off nicely for you once you can get back to your routine.

Dips, I am so happy you may be getting your Yorkie. I know you have wanted one ever since I have known you. I love yorkies. I want something really small like that when mine all pass away. That way I can sneak him into stores with me and noone will ever know.

Julie, You are definately doing a great job. I jumped on my treadmill for a bit this morning too. Everything is still covered in ice outside so it wouldnt be wise to go walking just yet.

Hi to everyone else!

Hi Girls

Dips I hope you get your pup! What an exciting Christmas present.

Kempy I hope you are feeling better today.

Noelle crab legs and prime rib? I will pitch in, let me know what time to be there. Good Luck at your WW weigh in today.

Angie I hope the guys buys the oven from you. Extra money is great for Christmas. Yesterday I found a twenty dollar bill in my wallet when I was at the store and I was so excited LOL.
SO I bought my dh a present. We were not even going to exchange with each other, just spend the money on the kids but this present will be from the kids to him.

Red rest up and take care!

This morning I wanted something different than oatmeal so I had a yogurt sundae with ff yogurt, sliced banana, coconut, and raisins. It was really good and different. Anyway I am planning on getting on that treadmill again.
I am getting use to it again. Tonight the Biggest Loser finale is on. I have missed most of the shows but I love to see the transformations after everyone has lost some weight. I think I am going to make something in the crockpot for supper tonight. Check back later on. Have a great Tuesday everyone.

Hi girls, well, I went to my doc appt. yesterday and they are doing some blood tests. Because my weight goes up and down they are suspecting possible PCOS. Yeah, just what I need right? That would explain the difficulty getting pregnant anyway. But I will have to 'wait and see' and go back for a follow up in 2 weeks. I'm just gonna concentrate on eating right and getting exercise. I'm about an hour away from my weigh in...I did get weighed yesterday, but I'm not gonna change my ticker yet because I want to use the WW scale.

Dips, I hope you get your pup for Xmas too. Yorkies are cute and they're small enough so that IF you dress them up (which people like me and Angie do ) they look adorable instead of ridiculous (like my lab/rottie mix does). My BIL had one for 19 years, that's pretty darn old for a dog.

Julie, your yogurt sundae sounds great. I love that Yoplait FF banana cream pie flavor, have you tried it? Sometimes I just use yogurt w/my cereal instead of milk. What do you have in the crock pot today? You're welcome to come over for Xmas dinner, I'll even pay your share

Angie, good job on the treadmill girl. I tried to use my elliptical yesterday but even though it's supposed to go easy on the knees, my knee was aching. I guess I have to suck it up and go get that checked too. I can't believe my body is falling apart like this! Good luck on getting that oven sold today I'm crossing my fingers for you.

Dips, you're already fly girlfriend!

Red, hope you can fit in some down time, just for you time. Enjoy your time in Hong Kong. I am a bit jealous right now because my sisters are now in Chiang Mai, Thailand and will be back to BKK on Friday. This is their annual Christmas shopping trip. I've only been there twice but they go back year after year...

Cherie, how are you doing friend? Come out and post when you can.

Kempy, I really hope you're feeling better and back to your old self soon.

Cal, how are you doing in beautiful AZ?

Hi to everyone. I gotta get back to work. Be back later with my WI results

Red face

Good morning, all. Thanks for the replies to this often-silent one. I am feeling a bit more optimistic today. Even though my horoscope on the morning television said I had the worst sign of the day... ...I am determined to prove them wrong. Don't you hate it when you hear forebodings of woe? I let them bother me, something so silly as a TV horoscope.....

mele -- Don't be jealous. I actually start to dread the trips because I have no money but know I will wanting to use the credit card. And I kind of fear the drinking that is likely to take place. I had so wanted to be lean and then able to fill out into my clothes again, instead of having them already tight and getting tighter. Hotel mirrors and all that....ugh!! Your sisters may be shopping but, like I said, I certainly won't be. I am having to think of ways to enjoy the trip without spending money, which is harder to do once you've been to a place and are not just content walking around seeing the sights. That is silly, isn't it? I mean, I should just be able to revel in the idea of being in another city, another country, hearing another language...seeing people I don't usually see, taking an interest in the horseraces and all the effort that is being put into getting the horses ready. You're right, I really, really need time for just me. It's what I'm doing here right now, finally posting again. I also wrote an email to a former co-worker who I've been out of touch with. When I start writing it usually means I'm moving again, coming out of a slump. Sadly, I find that it is incredibly linked to PMS and I hate that thought. It makes it seem that I only have a window of a week or two to actually be positive and productive. The thought makes me angry. It's like I'm not in control but am being controlled merely chemically. I hate that! What, btw, is PCOS? I hope there is nothing wrong with you. And I hope your weigh-in goes well!

jbbm -- Thanks for the well-wishes. Did you get on that treadmill?! I hope so. I am thinking that the only way I am going to see significant change is for me to actually make significant change in my habits. Ah, like, duh?!?! Sigh. Why is change so difficult when they say it's the only constant in our lives?

angie -- Thanks. Just hearing you say that you think the weight will come off helped to cheer me. I am in such a low now. I feel so beaten down, so without hope and fight. You, on the other hand, seem to have pulled out of a long slump and I am so glad to see that. I hope your oven sells. How is the exercise going?

Hello to all others! I am trying to catch up slowly here....otherwise it's just too overwhelming....please wish me luck...
