Good morning girls, I went out to dinner last night w/a cousin visiting from out of state. It was a restaurant that didn't really have a lite menu but I chose what I thought was the least evil, I had seared scallops (4) with enoki mushrooms and asparagus in a cream sauce (bad). It even had a few pieces of a potato gnocchi which I have never had. It was a weird green color and rather bland but I tasted it anyway. I didn't eat the whole thing so I think I did alright. And I made sure to park as far away as I could so i could at least get a little walking in. I'm supposed to be taking my best girlfriend out to lunch for her birthday today. I'm leaning toward sushi or maybe Vietnamese food since they're usually lite and low in cals. I have got to get out walking today to make up for yesterday. I don't wanna show a gain next week at my first weigh-in, that would be terrible!
Angie, you got it going on girl. Planning is key!!! I had a big long post last night but I hit the "back" button and it got fried... I LOVE LOVE LOVE the good vibes running through here. Just in time for us to get smaller through the holidays instead of bigger, eh? So what did Corey ask for for Xmas? I always get stumped when shopping for my teenage niece and nephew--they are greedy and usually just want money.

We got Michael a Nintendo DS Dogs edition and a few other games. We let him pick out a few games with the idea that they were for his cousin, but they're really for him--he'll be so stoked.
Julie, you go girl

Stay safe and warm out there, we don't want to wind to blow you away! Have you guys planned on having turkey day with just your immediate family or do you have to do the run around and visit with everyone and eat 3X kind of thing?
Kempy, I had a nice long post yesterday about what we usually have for thanksgiving...it made me start to get hungry but here are some of the things I would ask people to bring: desserts (pumpkin pie, custard pie, whatever kind of pie), or maybe a side dish (gravy and mashed potatoes or stuffing) or veggie platter (that's always a safe healthy bet). Our family for some reason, always has a side of Chinese crispy gau gee and some Filipino lumpia--two things that I will not be eating this year. We are going to make a sausage stuffing with Aidells garlic and artichoke sausage.
Dips, how are ya feeling today?
Cherie, hope you're doing well. Come back when you can.
Here's a shout out to Holly, Cal and Red and anyone else I may have missed. I gotta run, be back later though.
