Hello to all,
I've been busy the past couple of day's. Went to a meeting this morning at 9:30 a.m. then came home and washed the Rav. I had to take the Rav4 to get the oil changed and the radiator flushed didn't want to take it filthy.And got my flu shot. After the oil change took a trip to the super Walmart. I have lunch cooking tonight in the crock pot.
Weighed in this morning at 181.6. I'm pleased with that. I need to go back to where I posted the inches to see if I've gained or lost there. The one thing I'm pleased with is that with the exercise I've upped my body temperature to 98.4. It usually runs in the 97.6 range due to the thyroid problem.
I haven't seen the news in so long I didn't know the states were having an election.
My head is a little better at the moment. My spectacular supper was a frozen pizza and cut up celery. I just printed out 6 months of banking to peruse while watching TV and see where the heck it all goes!

Morning all,
We're off to Toyota this morning to see the cars being made and maybe some specials and also have a go on the computer to design our own car. We're off in about 10 minutes so won't be here for long. Spent yesterday at home walking around the campus and the valley taking photos. I went for my run. Still at that although it is quite cold first thing in the morning now and I need a long time to warm up. This morning my run went off campus and down the road and then I decided to try another road which didn't go exactly where I thought it would so I had to do extra mileage to get back.
They are burning off the rice sheaves at the moment and getting the paddies ready for winter. It's quite pleasant to hoof it down the road and get a whiff of the grass and leaves burning away.
Yesterday was wet and cold as well so it was nice to stay home. Chris went to a speech competition - she was the judge. I was supposed to go but opted to stay home instead since it was so cold and wet. There was a festival down in Tajimi that I was going to see but too bad, it would have rained on the parade.
Okay, Toyota calls. Chris is telling me I have 2 minutes. So better sign off. Hope all backs, knees, boobs, sinus etc are getting better and better. Such a lot of pain.
I got a teensy walk across the parking lot in... I could definitely feel my hips, knees and ankles working. Drinking more water, too. And actually had a s.a.l.a.d today!!
I'm glad tomorrow is the last radiation of the week.....

I went to the local yarn shop today.... LOTS of summer bright colors on sale... and beautiful new winter wools. I must look for some bargains for sorority fundraiser.... funny hats and sweet sachets in the offing.
DD wrote an amazing tribute to/for me in response to my whingeing yesterday. you can see it here . Isn't THAT amazing? And it was also amazing that I didn't cry. Let's just say that I never felt that way about MY mom.... (If I did maybe I wouldn't feel "hungry" all the time... although DD has her own weight issues, so maybe it isn't JUST a "Mother Complex."
Off to late night news and some knitting.
Condolences to those of you with headaches. They had a feature on tonight's early news that the Pigweed was blooming. Apparently it grows in high-manure/damp areas and causes allergic reactions in lots of people.... I've been sneezing a lot and have used a saline spray, but am otherwise OK in the respiratory area.
Oh, and I'm getting more hair. Don't need a comb yet, by a long shot, but there's a sort of "aura" or corona around my bald head. (And my chin hairs are back.
I AM DELIGHTED IT'S FRIDAY!!! I DID EVERYTHING BY PHONE ALREADY AND SHOULD HAVE THE WEEKEND FREE. SHOTS ARE ALREADY SET UP FOR MONDAY AND FRAN IS DOING THE BULK OF IT. Just another brief note. I'm in the process of cleaning house and doing laundry. Getting ready for my trip to Dallas next week end, also gotta run some errands, pay rent, call the doctor's office to see if they have called in the Rx and if so go pick it up.

I am feeling GREAT today!!!
I have the upstair bathroom thoroughly cleaned. A huge feat considering it is half renovated.
I baked a cake and then iced it. Very cute, will take pics!!
Off to the school in a few minutes.
No headache. I am VERY excited that all the kids are in school and I had 2 little guys just for the morning!!
I baked the cake this morning for DS’s Bday for his class. A hockey rink and then I have player candles.
I will sort and tidy Avon supplies and file misc stuff this aft( or sleep in the lounger outside).
Last night I printed off our bank statements since June and went through each month breaking down our spending.
We dont “waste” any . There is the odd thing( like extra toothpaste for each bathroom) that we didn’t need but ya gotta live a little and nothing was frivilous.
The monthy average beyond our daily living expenses and spending is $1000. Yikes. That covers car repairs, sports,babysitters,kids clothes,shoes, renovations.........
We had a bad year in 2004. Right now income is good but we are paying off a debt. Small debt but debt none the less.
I am not as worried as I was. I hope DH can work steady this winter. This has been a great job so far!!!
I ate crappy yesterday because I felt crappy all day, I boght frozen pizza cause i could face cooking or the dishes.
The kitten is a spazzy blast. She hung around all morning even with 8 kids here.The day went well in spite of the horrific headache. Rainbow has been a wonderful gift to DS. He hates to be alone and play alone now he has a companion.Both kids are sooo excited to feed her and watch her.

It was a very LONG day at work today and it cut into the evening and will run into the weekend. Everyone has a problem today. Everyone needs it fixed yesterday. I'm so tired I'm yawning enough to make my eyes water. Just peeked in here for a bit while I'm running a job but I think it would be best to shut everything down and hit the sack right now. Maybe I can get an early start in the morning.

I finished a "camo" jacket for a baby shower I'm going to next week. The mom is non-traditional, though by the time baby girl FAITH arrives, she may wish she'd gotten more pink things! I combined three different patterns to get the set, and made changes to each one. Figures! Do you think I might have issues with authority?!!!
DS says that his girl friend isn't the hat wearing type... Do you think I should felt her a purse or knit (or felt) slippers? or wait to see if they are still at gift-giving stage by Christmas? I think DS is planning on going there for Thanksgiving... but he also voiced a few qualms about what he perceives as her inability to let him go off and have alone time... (playing drums, video games, reading, writing, etc.) Apparently she lets her feelings get hurt. Although SHE goes off and does girly things with her mom or gf's....

Today my baby boy turns 7!!!! He had a great day at school. He forgot I was bringing a cake so it was a surprise!! His class wrote out a chart of all the reasons they like him. It is up on the livingroom wall. It was beautiful to see and read. He was so calm and touched.

8. Time of last food intake, time I went to bed. 5:30pm. bed 11pm
9. Why and when I ate due to stress or emotions. I ate pizza top with feta and spinach for breakfast. 1) because it I didn't want to waste it, 2) because it was good.
10.General feelings about food, exercise, life. I felt good all day and around 7pm the sinus headache started up. I had a major meltdown when I got home from gymnastics. DD was whining over nothing and I just started to cry. I asked DH for help clearing out the van for today and bringing in groceries. He didn’t. I just sobbed and sobbed. I had asked him for help the night before with dishes. He had told me to just relax. I did relax and nothing got done. He got upset, told me to #### off, I told him to right back.LOL! The kids sprung into action and tidied up toys and got changed for bed without any drama. Dh didn’t hold a grudge.
I do not understand why none of these 3 can not put garbage in the garbage. They just toss it on the floor or on the table. it has been partciularily bad with halloween wrappers. I dotn know how DH thinks anything will get done if I dont do it. Relax indeed. Get off your sorry *** and help then. I work just as hard. Maybe harder and for less cachola so I can be here for all of you. HELP dammit. ARG! LOL!
11. Any really good events or feelings today.~ yes, it was actually a calm day, I thoroughly cleaned both bathrooms, that makes me insanely happy. Boys pee everywhere.It was a very quiet morning. I had a peaceful afternoon. I was fun to treat DS to something special. I ate well all day after the pizza.

Linus- do you have a musicbox or something to keep little CJ engaged while you have a cup of tea and put your feet up? I used to put music on all the time with my kids, not lullaby stuff, but the kind of classical music instrumentals. They used to get a lot quieter and seemed to really enjoy it. I'm sorry you aren't feeling as warm and nurtured yourself, get that family of yours to notice you, make more noise
Mel-I'm sorry you are having aches from the chair shift, shame the parts that break always need a shop visit. You take it easy out there in the world, maybe you need to buy a whistle to stop this stampede of needy nellies that mob your elevator exits. STOP! turn around and face the wall until I'm in the office proper :P
Happy-Your expectations are in need of adjustment... you are going to drive yourself crazy trying to change people in your house. You might be better off adjusting your reaction. If the candy wrappers aren't getting to the garbage why do they still have the candy? Consequences. They aren't respecting you by expecting you to be their servant. Give them a wake up call. Getting mad just sends your blood pressure through the roof, get even :P My husband used to leave the kitchen cupboards and drawers open every time he was in there. I gave up asking him to close them and went in there and opened every single one of them up and left the room. He got the message, he doesn't do it as often now Hubby doesn't help bring the groceries in, leave all his favourite stuff out in the vehicle and if he mentions them tell them where he can find them. You aren't sneaky enough my girl, hit them where it counts. It might clear up your sinuses as well if you get a chance for some deep breathing instead of the shallow, frustrated kind
PW-Wow, you are a clever knitting whiz! Imagine, adjusting patterns and it turning out, creativity to burn! Do you really want to spend your time knitting, making something for DS's girlfriend? Doesn't sound like you know her all that well, wouldn't some perfume or a scented soap basket be less risky? I hope you are feeling as wonderful as your daughter thinks you are. I will use some of your parenting tricks when my kids are mouthy teens, so far they think I am useful and huggable
Happy-rats about work getting so crazy that you couldn't start your weekend and relax or at least do your own thing. That is the way these days though, so many people seem to have to take their work home in order for everything to get done. Fingers crossed you put it all to one side soon and can enjoy a nice visit with your hubby. Making any pancakes this weekend? waffles?
We have finally advanced into the technology world, we bought a DVD player Our tv is a real old one from the 1980's though and we thought we were going to have to get a new tv to get the DVD player to work, we only have one plug hole at the back of our tv and the DVD has three plugs that needed to be inserted :LOL: our tv doesn't even have stereo sound Thankfully we talked to someone who knows something at The Bay and she told us about a box that will fix us up for $20.00, quite a big price difference between that and a new set. My eating sucks, pizza for lunch izza: and my exercise was only once last week. Drinking water is doing good, usually make sure I have a glass here by the computer so I can sip and type There are some gorgeous Christmas decorations out there right now, the kids and I had a blast looking at all the different bells and glittery jewels for the trees. Each decoration was like $10. They were really cool though.

FRAN FOUND THE DVD PLAYER I WANTED IN SHOPRITE SO SHE PICKED IT UP FOR ME AND DROPPED IT OFF YESTERDAY. GOING TO GET JEN ONE THIS WEEK TOO. $30 AND IT DOES ALMOST EVERYTHING. JUST A CHEAP COMPANY...WONDER HOW LONG IT WILL LAST BEFORE IT EXPLODES! TUESDAY (VOTE) SHOULD BE A PERFECT DAY TO PUT IN A GOOD WORD FOR FRAN AND SEE IF WE CAN CHANGE THE WHIRLPOOL SHE'S CAUGHT IN. NOTHING ELSE NEW. RESTING IN BETWEEN TIMES. EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE IS SICK NOW WITH A COLD SO I CANNOT GO IN THERE. GOTTA STAY WELL AT LEAST TILL I GET MY FLU SHOT. BUT I CAN GET OFF THE LOO NOW THAT THE SIDE BITS ARE ON THE NEW CHAIR SO I AM VERY RELIEVED AND HAPPY! ONLY 2 DAYS WILL BE A BIT OF A DRAG...MON AND TUES. I WON'T BE HERE ON THOSE DAYS FOR SURE. THEY'RE GOING TO BE LATE DAYS TOO. SHOTS DON'T START TILL 1:30 AND THE ELECTION ENDS AT 8PM. SO I'LL BE M.I.A. FOR THOSE DAYS. THE BEST PART OF THE WORK IS IT GIVES ME NO TIME TO THINK OF HEADS OR BACKS!! MAYBE I BETTER NOT TAKE ALL MY IRONS OUT OF THE FIRE. I THINK THAT'S WHERE THE DEPRESSION CAME FROM AFTER THE BUS. do you have a musicbox or something to keep little CJ engaged while you have a cup of tea and put your feet up? I used to put music on all the time with my kids, not lullaby stuff, but the kind of classical music instrumentals. They used to get a lot quieter and seemed to really enjoy it. I'm sorry you aren't feeling as warm and nurtured yourself, get that family of yours to notice you, make more noise
