It's a totally fabulous morning, isn't it?? Do you know why? One, the sun is shining. Two, I'm not at work. Three, and most importantly..............drum roll please..........I lost 4 1/2 freakin' pounds!!!!!!!! I'm now, for the first time since high school(?), in the 150s!!!!!!! I'm so uber-ecstatic it's not funny. DH is going to have a tough time with me today!
VIVA - I hope you get your eye taken care of.
SPILLIE - I'd only count a couple points, unless you really got your heart rate elevated and sustained for a long period of time. Heels? Ugh!!
ROCKER - enjoy your days off!! And definitely get outta there early today - you deserve it!

CHICKIE hang in there with the excersise and don't get discouraged, you are doing great with going to the gym and you will start seeing the results soon enough. I slept pretty good last night after all the walking I did at FM's. I'm telling you, it happens every time I wear !!!

Looks like I will be the only one here tomorrow, I have to work. Oh well, Its no big deal I really didn't have any plans for this weekend anyway. It's my moms birthday today and we won't be able to celebrate it till next week because we are all too busy to be able to get together at one time. Sad isn't it. Thank God that mom is understanding otherwise we all be up the river without paddles. hee hee.

Well it was a beautiful weekend even if I did have to work. I ate like a piggy and now I don't even remember what I ate, of course I gained 2lbs but it is my own fault for not staying on program. So I'll try and post what I had this weekend, but man is it bad.

I was bad this weekend, but I'm okay with that. While I had an awesome WI on Thursday, I'm now up 7 pounds (yes, you read that right...7 stinkin' pounds) from then. *sigh* Hopefully at least some of it is from sodium, etc. Guess we'll see over the next few days.
Had a great weekend! Went to the exhibit on Thursday, which was good, ran the 5K on Saturday, went to the horse racetrack Saturday afternoon and won some $, Mom came down Saturday evening and we went to dinner, then to church on Sunday, cooked brunch, and then the 3 of us went for a 12-mile bike ride. I did end up eating a ton of candy since Thursday, almost like my loss gave me license to eat whatever I wanted.
Guess that's about it in a nutshell. I'm so sore right now that I can't run or anything...maybe tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow. I might try to walk at lunch, but I don't know if I'll be able to. Oh well.

Good morning. I feel so sick right now. I think it's from the medicine I'm taking. It's absolutely KILLING my stomach. I've been trying to eat my breakfast to help it, but it's so hard when you feel like you're going to throw up! I woke up on Friday morning and my eye was looking horrible - and by Friday night it looked the same but also was like purplish/pink above the eye lashes - looked HORRIBLE!! But Saturday I woke up and it was getting better! As of today it's pretty much back to normal. I have to keep taking this medicine through Wednesday night and then I go back to the eye doctor's on Thursday morning for a follow up appointment.
SPILLIE: Mmm, did you say pizza party? That sounds good. Sorry to hear about the gain.
TWIDDLE: Sounds like a busy weekend! Hopefully that's just some water weight!

TWIDDLE the walk this morning was un-intentional, someone passed out on the train that I was on and put the line out of service. I could have taken a shuttle but I was running early and thought what the heck. So I walked. It felt good. Tonight on to the gym, no excuses. I told K to be ready to go when I got home and not to let me sit down.
VIVA does the bottle tell you to take with food or on an empty stomach? That makes all the difference in the world as to how you will feel when you take the meds.
1st QUESTION: Can sodium intake really affect your WI?
I mean if I eat things with high sodium will my WI be really off. I'm not trying to make excuses, but I did eat alot of stuff that are high in salt. I know I ate more than on plan, but I have been going to the gym.
2nd QUESTION: Does going to the gym make you more hungry?
I have been feeling hungry more lately, I'm not sure that I am supplying my body with the right amt of food. I have been measuring my food but not counting pts because you don't count on Core. I'm afraid to increase on any portions because of the gains I have had. I do eat till I'm satisfied, but it just feels like I am starving mostly in the mornings. Any thoughts?
