Good afternoon!
VIVA - I soooo should have done that. It would've been interesting talking to myself for 9 days. Sorry I haven't been here. I was out sick yesterday, and was busy today just trying to catch up. Can I just tell you...one of the shows we decided to watch this year has already been cancelled??? It was called Head Cases, on Fox, I think. We "taped" it last night, and when we went to watch it, it wasn't on. I went online to see it was axed already. D*mn! |

Morning Chickies! :wave: Long day/night yesterday an you would think that with everything that went on I'd sleep through the night....NOT. Woke up at 3am and have ben up ever since! :tired: Went to Wawa got and coffe and a cap. so that should do the trick for a little bit anyway. I gotta spend the morning cleaning the building from last nights event so it'll be ready to go for this afternoon....my cleaning lady that does the bathrooms can't make it in so I gotta do all 3 as well.....YUCK! Well, that's about it for now. I must get going so I can get this cleaning done and out of the way. Have a good one and I'll BBL! |

I'm not doing too great this morning. Had a little procedure done last night at the drs. and let me just say OUCH!! Do any of you watch Without a Trace? I started seeing it, it was the premiere and the conclusion of last season, but I fell asleep. Can anyone tell me what happened? TIA. TWIDDLE, hope your birthday is a good one and have a good time at the boat races tomorrow. I'll be thinking of all the fun you are having while I'm working. :( j/k. I hope you all have a WONDERFUL AND BLESSED day. I will be leaving at noon to go lay down. I am in so much pain, but I needed to come in for at least 4 hours so that I don't get charged a sick day. Life s*cks and then you die. |

SPILLIE - I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. Hope you get to rest when you get home, and you feel better soon. ROCKER - You make me so :tired:!!! VIVA - What can I say? HAPPY and BROOK - You guys around? Not much going on here. Possibly got pinkeye for my birthday...yeah, I'm thrilled about that. I don't really think that's what it is, but something's definitely up. I just don't have most of the symptoms, so.... DH's family is coming down tonight to go to the races tomorrow. We'll be going out to dinner with them...yay! And DH was instructed to get me a birthday cake, so we'll see! Guess that's about it. Hope you all have a great weekend! I'll try to check back in later...we need to entertain and be entertained on this wonderful Friday!!!! |

Vent coming at no one but myself...
Last Friday I WI at 174lbs. This Friday I WI at 180lbs. I am so freaked out by this. I know I am going through alot, and I know that I am also having medical issues, buuuuut I am also staying OP and I'm doing my spinning classes 3x a week and I started weight lifting again. WTF is going on? I started doing everything right and now I'm gaining. I can't stand this, I can't seem to get below the 170's. I have been good I swear. Now I need some advice. Can the weight lifting be the cause of the gain? I mean can it really make that much of a difference. I am doing abdominals 2x a week along with lifting weights for the arms and my mid section. My stomach looks like I am pregnant so I'm trying to bring that down. I'm sticking with this to see if maybe my body just needs to adjust to the strengthning (sp?) again. But man, this makes me want to stop all the exercise and just do the plan just so I can see the scale go down. |

I'm going home now and going straight to bed. I should find out in about 2 weeks what is wrong with me and then have to wait till I get back from DR to do anything about it.

Well, DUH, SPILLIE, I think we all prefer to be entertained...
I agree with ROCKER...if I haven't been working out for awhile, as soon as I start, I usually have a gain. It may last a few weeks before your body gets used to the new activity, but if you truly are staying OP, you should see results. Remember, even if the # doesn't go down, you may notice your clothes fitting better, etc. |

However, I've gained so much weight since I went to the beach! It's unreal. When I get back from Las Vegas I've gotta buckle down. I've put on 10 lbs in a month...not good. Especially when it takes much longer to get rid of it! Feel better SPILLIE! |

I have not really gotten back on track since Europe, either. I was so focused before that trip, and I really need to get this weight back off before the holidays or I won't fit into any of my winter clothes!
On the flip side of that, I had a wonderful lunch today, consisting of a kaiser roll with oven-roasted turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Yum. And I wonder why I'm not losing???? |
