Morning CHICKLETS!!!!! :wave: LMAO! :lol3: ......I just love that name, TWIDDLE! Anyway...my weekend was so-so. Not much happened--worked Sat morn to help S out and pretty much was layed up the rest of the day with a sinus headache...woke up with it: my eyes were all swollen and goo was coming out of them. It was so HOT :flame: where I was working that I finally told S I had to go home and lay down b/c my head was killing me. I talked to my mom and she said to put ice on it so I usd my trusty ole' bag-o-peas that I use for my knee. Worked pretty good to. I thought I had one of those mask things but I didn't. You know I was at 4 stores looking for one of those things yesterday and no one had it. UGH....it's a gel mask that fits over your face for your sinuses that you freeze...know what I'm talking about? If anyone knows where I can get a couple PLEASE let me know. I'm getting desperate. I wanna get a couple so I can have them on hand both here at work and at home!
Tonite's the Jovi party at C & P's and I am PSYCHED!!!!! AND....Friday evening MMR called me at home to verify my info and guess what else? I WON THE NEW JOVI CD! WOOHOO! :cb: Now I don't have to go buy it tomorrow! YAY! I'm also in the running for the signed guitar...man how I would LOVE to win that! Anyway...should be lots of fun--going to get to meet a lot of other Jovi fans too. Are you ready for this one? Well, I won't be on the boards Friday b/c M & I are going to NYC to see Jovi perform on the Today show at Rockerfellow Plaza! HAH! Can you believe it? We're actually leaving Thursday nite and are going to camp out to claim a good spot--gonna take the train down. Afterwards we're gonna spend the day there then come home. We got stuff yesterday to make posters too! So set your VCRs or whatever b/c maybe I'll be on TV! I'm so excited about this! SPILLIE: how's the knee? I hope much better! TWIDDLE:hope you had fun at PSU!!!! VIVA:Welcome back....how was CA? BROOK & HAPPY: hello! SPILLIE - It's fine if we change days...I have to check with DH on which day is better, but I can't do any this week. Tomorrow we have an off-water dragon boat practice, and I think Wednesday I'm going into the city after work, if I remember correctly. *sigh* I hate getting old. ROCKER - That's awesome that you won the CD! Congrats!! And good luck with the guitar. That'd be the next best thing after the Oprah show. Who's M? I know S, but not M... Have fun tonight, and your trip to NYC on Friday! Alright, that's it. I'm too sick to think much. Hope you all are doing well. Talk to you tomorrow! Morning Chicklets! Had a BLAST last night and let me just tell you that this new CD FREAKIN ROCKS!!!!!! C & P's was fun...then we trucked on down to Delaware Ave to the theater to see the NYC LIVE JOVI broadcast. WOOHOO...the place was ROCKIN! Didn't get home til late so needless to say I'm completely exhausted right now...was so wound up that I didn't get to bed til 1:30am and got up at 6am! WHEW....

Hi Chicklets.....well my fun day tomorrow at the Today show might get scratched...my man got food poisoning and cancelled all the LA appearances this week...no word yet for tomorrow. I will be crushed but I certainly do understand.
Not much new here...I was really pumped up now I don't know what to feel. I'm exhausted as all get out, am sipping on coffee but so far it hasn't helped. I hope everyone's feeling better today! |

This will be short as I have so much work to do and not enough time in the day. :( They have me doing everything around here to help out everyone else but no one helps me. Nice huh. Anyway it makes the day go by faster. I have been really depressed this last couple of days and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. But I will work through it and just try to overcome all that is heading my way. I was out on Tuesday and just couldn't even get out of bed. I had a migraine that came on Monday night after cycling. I know that it is all stress related. It felt good just staying under the covers for one day though. WELCOME BACK VIVA, hope you had a good time. You haven't said anything about it. Come on, share. TWIDDLE, I saw your post and you know she ain't going. Her family won't allow it. Just pick a place that is too far for her family to approve. BTW, I saw J post about Christmas, she is forgetting that a lot of the latinos don't celebrate Christmas as the holiday of gifts but rather January 6, when we believe the Three Kings came and gave their gifts to Jesus. If you want give her my cell phone number and I'll give her a few ideas, if she wants them that is. CHICKIE, sorry to hear about your man. Hopefully he will be able to make it to the Today show, thats tomorrow right. He might be able to do the show and nothing else, so behave when you see him and don't overdo it for him to get sicker. ;) BROOK, I haven't "seen" you around, what's going on?
