Morning Chickies! :wave: Not feeling too good today--another blasted headache :headache: but this time I also feel like I could :barf: . I've been up since 4:30 with it and already have taken excedrin and sinus stuff and nothing has helped. I went to Wawa and got a coffee and a regular Coke and will do my best to get that down. Hopefully that will help til I get home for good and can take my migraine meds. I'm thinking it might have been something I ate: yesterday I had some Jenny-o turkey sausage and it might have been the nitrates/msg. I can't eat anything with msg in it b/c I get violent headaches like the one I have now. I *thought* I checked the label carefully but maybe I didn't--will ahve to look again. If it's not that then I have no idea. I really don't wanna have to drink that Coke b/c I WI today but desperate times call for desperate measures--if I gain I gain--so be it. Odds are I did anyway b/c of the YUMMY Chinese dinner I had over the weekend (no MSG).
That's about it for me....guess I better go--will check back later! |

TGIF!! and I mean TGIF!! This has been one long week. It felt like it was never going to end. We should be getting out of here by 3:00 today so I won't be on here too much. Gotta get some work done that I couldn't do yesterday. CHICKIE, Maybe it's just a migraine and nothing else. I get migraines too and they come on for no reason. Hope you feel better. :wave: Hey guys! Well it pretty much sucks to be back at work, but at least I only have 5 more days of work until I leave for San Francisco. The weather at the beach was actually great last week. When we got down there the weather showed rain of some sort everyday...the only day it rained was on Saturday (the day we got there) but it didn't start raining until after we got off the beach and the rain didn't last long at all. The rest of the week was absolutely gorgeous! I didn't count points at all while I was gone and I know I gained at least 5 lbs...I guess it was the ice cream that I had EVERY NIGHT that did me in! :lol3: I need to weigh myself so I can change my stats.
Just wanted to say hi...I have a TON of emails to read. I'll check back shortly! |
Hey Chickies.....well, my work email as it was can't be fixed so now they have me temporarily (sp?) hooked up to something completely different...doesn't sound good but it works for now. Gonna do some major backing up b/c I think this puter is heading down the tubes. The guys were here practically all day too then finally told me they can't fix it. I was working out of another room while they were here--not good!
I'll be glad to get out of here today....still behind on work but that's the way it goes when you can't use your puter! Have a good night! |

Sorry I haven't been around lately, but they are making major changes around here and we just don't know what he outcomes are going to be or who they really are going to affect. In the midst of all this I'm trying to get transfer to an Admin position that makes more money. We'll see... VIVA, great to see you back. TWIDDLE, hang in there...do you need back up to beat some butt!!! CHICKIE, what on earth did you do to your puter? :dizzy: HAPPY, I hope this week goes a lot better than last. It's only overwhelming until you get the hang on the way they do things around there...everythng will fall into place and you will be fine. BROOK, where have you been? Morning Chickies....just got in from my dentist appt.--no cavities! What I thought was one turned out to be an issue with my gums--one that they were able to fix. It'll be sore for a bit they said (right now it's THUMPING). At least it's not a cavity--not yet anyway.
Not much else is new....still way behind on my work b/c of all this computer crap. I was scared to death yesterday that they would find out just how much time I spend on the net NOT doing my work! LMAO....if they did, they didn't mention it to me. Well, I better get going. Lots to do...have to leave in about 30 min to go over to my other building for an appt. This opne will NOT be fun and the people better not mess w/me today b/c I'm in no mood! :devil: HAH! Have a good one and I'll check back in later. |
Good morning. It's hump day! I've been busy this morning working on some things for dispatch, and then I had to take care of making my reservations for the shuttle from the airport for next week. I got that all squared away. I'm having dinner tonight with my sister and my nephew...should be fun. I haven't seen them since the week before I went down to the beach. Okay, off to do some more work... :yawn:

Just got back form my appt.....actually, they are still there but since the rec. super is in today he said he'll man the building. I went to Wawa beofre coming back....I needed COFFEE badly! I also got 2 soft pretzels....needed to eat something (was getting a headache) that I could chew. Tasted pretty darn good too! I so don't feel like working today....people are being NASTY on the phone. One lady all but ripped me a new on yesterday b/c: "doesn't the hall provide any accomodations for guests that are largly obese and have a hard time getting up and down (b/c of weight & arthritis)? Now this is a subject close to my ♥ so I can sympathize on this one....I told her the ballroom chairs would work and that I speak from experience on that one....from what I'm gathering he may need 2 chairs to sit on...ok w/me but am not sure he'd be willing to do that or not. Guess I'll find out on Sat when I get there--I'm working that event! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH |
