MICHELLE...GLAD TO HEAR YOU FEEL SO GOOD AND THAT YOU ARE ALL GOING AWAY FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND. HOPE YOU FIND SOME BEAUTIFUL AGATES. ENJOY!!

LAURA....TOLD JEN YOU LIKED THE MOVIE LAST NIGHT. THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP ON THE ENDING. SO MANY MOVIES DO THAT OR PUT IN THE FUNNY OUT TAKES. I LOVE THAT. I ALMOST USED YOUR EXACT WORDS WHEN I SPOKE TO JOHN....ONLY I THINK I SAID IT ONE OR MAYBE TWO OCTAVES LOUDER

HAPPY....I JUST HATE WHEN SOMEONE ORDERS A SUBMARINE SAMMIE FROM BLIMPIES!! OMG!! THE ONIONS IN THE OFFICE ARE ENOUGH TO KILL YOU! PU!! I COULDN'T FIND A PU SMILEY BY THE WAY!! STAY STRONG MY SOUTHERN SISTER!!

Morning all. My Friday because I'm taking tomorrow off, so TGIF!!

And it can't come soon enough. Yesterday was annoying. After having a meeting hijacked last week by a guest my boss invited to a meeting I had set up, she invited someone to the meeting I rescheduled yesterday, which was to address what didn't get done in last week's meeting. Thankfully the guest didn't take over (and gawd she's capable of it - she can go on and on) and we actually got to the topics I wanted addressed.

After the meeting the boss called me in and asked if I was unhappy about the meeting and I told her I had been concerned we wouldn't focus on what I had wanted to focus on because she had circulated an agenda that had a much bigger scope. Truth is, the boss sort of took over the meeting and I'm unhappy with myself for letting that happen. In fact, I think this project (the software selection) is getting away from me...but the good thing is that the boss has come to realize this is much bigger of a project than she thought. I'm not sure if she was pretending all along or was really that clueless... Anyway, I should have pushed back more forcefully when I knew the timeframe she had in mind was not long enough. But I guess I'm being too cautious because of what's going on with the other manager in our dept. Her path is moving along to ultimate termination - going through the motions of an improvement plan in spite of the boss's foregone conclusion that the mgr won't successfully complete it. All for the sake of CYA. Sigh.

Enough of my whining.

Ceejay - Nice you'll visit your sis in June. Too bad you have to work on the Holiday.

Happy - PU - onions stinking up the place. That's obnoxious. Gyros too, but I do love them (but no onions please!). But I'd never eat them during the workday, let alone in the office! Didn't think of the heat's effect on the leather seats - I'm going to be more conscious of how long I run the seat heater going forward!

Annie - So are you a spoiled brat today after the cut, color, and dinner by DD?

Shad - Hope you got enough done so you don't have to work this weekend!! You need some downtime.

Mel - Glad your week has been quiet. Well, I guess you had to be a broken record for people to finally get the message, but I'm glad it's happening!! Now for some motivating eye candy: If you don't have any walking around in your building in the flesh at the moment, you need to get on your speedy computer and go to the site IMDB.com (internet movie database) and look up the actor Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor and check out some of his photos. He is definitely easy on the eyes and has amazing blue eyes! And he has an actor brother Ian, also hunky, so check him out too.

Hellos to Michelle & Ellen!

Okay, back to work. Tonight will be the circuit class, and that will be my last punch for this session's fitness passport.

Good morning ladies!

Happy Thursday (or Friday) to all! I love, love, love endorphins! Yesterday afternoon, I did 20-25 minutes of Chair Zumba, and then an hour of water aerobics - where I really worked hard. Nearly everyone else in the water aerobics class was moving at slightly faster than a leisurely pace - the water is so relaxing, I can see why - but I was really pumping my legs and arms trying to get and keep my heart rate up. Then at the end of class, we did some resistance training with the aqua bar bells, followed by stretching. I was so relaxed when I got home, I just wanted to take a warm shower, put some liniment on - to prevent stiffness/soreness when I sleep, and go to bed. But I stayed up and watched a little TV with DH and DMIL.

This afternoon is physical therapy - for an actual workout rather than just having the therapist bend and stretch me. When I get home, I'll be planting tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, beans, and anything else that isn't tied down!

Tomorrow is working from home day, and tomorrow night/Saturday morning, I'll be working remotely in conjunction with people on other teams for report implementation. Not a fun start to the weekend, but at least it's only once a month.

*****************
Laura - I forgot to take a picture of the baby cow, but luckily DH remembered. I'll get it off the camera this weekend and post it. It's such a cute little thing and getting noticeably bigger each day. As for arranging for more massages...what I need is one more website client. That will help pay for the massages. I have 2 or 3 client that used to keep me fairly busy on a regular basis, but now only one client needs work done regularly. Now, if he would only request MORE work...that would help too. That sucks about your meeting last week being hijacked by the guest and your boss changing the agenda for yesterday's meeting. And it really sucks about the other manager having to go through the motions of an improvement plan that is impossible to successfully complete. I hope that person finds a great position elsewhere. Have fun at circuit class tonight!

Ceejay - I've heard line dancing is lots of fun and great exercise. The new meds seem to be helping Mischief, but we won't know for sure how much until she has another blood test (on Friday 5/27). My DMIL really likes it here and isn't getting homesick at all. There's so much less drama at our house. If it wasn't for the grandkids (and great-grandkids) back in CA, she's probably wouldn't have any hesitation in staying here permanently. Other than the fact that our Governor is trying to eliminate all assistance programs, so her disability income could be reduced and medical insurance might be cut back. I'm so glad you're going to get to see your sister very soon!

Happy - I haven't been watching DWTS, but my Zumba instructor (who used to have her own dance instruction studio) said she's glad that Ralph Macchio was eliminated. She said the 3 people in the finals deserve to be there as they're all very good. UGH, onion sandwich! Yuck! I hope your clementine was enough to freshen the air.

Annie - A 'Rita sounds like a good "partner" to have painting with ya'. I wonder how she'd do with gardening. Probably make it go a lot easier and less painful! A cut, color and dinner? Will she do that for her momma's friends if they come visiting? (hint, hint)

Shad - I hope that you're able to get your 2nd doco done so that you don't have to work on the weekend. I hate working on the weekends.

Mel - I'm so glad you had a quiet week, and I hope the weekend is equally quiet and relaxing. I feel the same way about drama...keep it in the plays, movies and TV. I don't need any of it in my life. I'm glad that people are finally listening to what you're saying.

I'd better get back to it. Tomorrow will be spent working on my IDP (Individual Development Plan), so I have to get other stuff completed today.

Love and big hugs to all,

Good morning ladies. Still here, just been hanging out with DD3 she seems to have a small cold and is bouncing between being slightly peaked and then off the walls.
I'm hanging in but life kind of sucks right now. I know I'm a little depressed and need to go back to the doc, but not ready to make the call. Just kjnow that you guys are a bright spot in my day and I am always here reading even if I'm not posting

It is my TGIF also!! So does that make me on the same day as Shaddie?

Chelle...you bet your sweet potatoes if you come up here, I will arrange for DD to give you the treatment also. Yahoo for good endorphins...I need to get my garden out but need a bit of dirt and get to ho-ing with a 'rita. hahaha

Laura...don't you hate that you let someone run your show for you then realize it afterword when you can do nothing about it? You make it look so easy the boss wanted your credit, then probably realized she couldn't handle it. It's a good thing for her to see she cannot do things without you.

MELLIE...I am really proud of you for taking over yourself and not letting the office junk take you over. Let's see what a good reward would be for you...maybe a fireman or EMT..lil eye candy...hahaha

Shaddie...get away from all the work junk and enjoy your weekend.

Ellen...call the doctor before you get so far down that is takes longer to come back up and be happy. Do it now, for yourself and your family. Hugs sister!

Hi to Happy & Ceejay....

Since I didn't go to the track day today like I was supposed to, I am leaving here and going home shortly. I just didn't think I could get away from the track in enough time to get to work at CVS. It would of been nice as we have a suite this year, but heck it looks like it could rain any moment. Plus I have been there a million times. I am over it.

Getting Uverse tomorrow...amen...been without TV for a week now. The cable dude is supposed to be there between 9-11 am then it takes a couple of hours, hope it is sooner rather than later so I can get on with my day. Have to work Sat & Sun.

That is about it for me....have a wonderful Friday/Weekend.

Love and Hugs,

Annie - I'm so glad that you have a short day today followed by a long weekend! Too bad you couldn't enjoy your Indy suite...but since you've been to the races a lot, a short work day is probably better for ya'. Enjoy your Uverse! We love ours. I'll be toasting you as we're ho'-ing around in the dirt!

Ellen - I agree with Annie. Call the doc and get in as soon as you can. The sooner you get back to the doc, the sooner you can feel better so why wait? Hang in there.

Time to call it a day and head over to physical therapy. Here's to a great long weekend for some, and a great Thursday evening/Friday for the rest of us.

Morning all,
Flyby this morning. Need coffee and matchsticks (to prop my eyes open). Had the hair cut and coloured last night. Slept in this morning.

So today I have a list of things to get done. Provided I don't have to go to meetings, argue with a man with a hair trigger temper, or get asked to do something else, I just might manage that.

Gotta go - TGIF in the biggest font. You'll have to imagine it. I haven't got time to make it so.

Afternoon

Got most of my errands ran but didn't get to do anything with the car. Seems that I don't have everything yet. I mailed the title of my old rav4 so they would get it tomorrow.

Went to visit with a friend. This is too funny--she bought a car about 3 weeks ago. She got a Buick. Then we went to eat pizza for lunch.

My house was being cleaned while I was doing errands.

Michelle
Sounds like you are getting back in the groove of exercising.

Mel
Hope the cable people get the problem solved soon.

Ellen
Feel better soon.

Annie
You need to take some time to go the races.

I know I put expectations on my animals based on human feelings I think they feel. However look at these and tell me whether these are displaying human behaviour or do we display penguin behaviour

Good morning ladies, I sure am glad it's Friday although there is a busy weekend ahead with things around the house. I hate this packing and decluttering - makes more of a mess than cleaning does!

Shad - I think animals have some "human" personality traits. Love those Empire penquins. I think their colors are breathtaking.

Ellen - I am sorry you are feeling down. I agree with the others to make an appointment for a chat with the doc.

Oh poor Mel - what a giant mess you have to deal with! No phone service - eek! Hope that gets fixed up.

I am running late will catch up with Annie, Laura and Michelle at lunch.

Smile we can sleep in tomorrow

Ceejay - you and your friend can park next to each other so that at least one side of both of your cars is protected People are very rude about scratching car doors it seems.

Good Friday Morning/Night....9 am and where the H is the cable man? I know, I know the window is 9-11 am, but I need to get on with my day. Up and at it, showered, hair done, make up on, one load of laundry done, vacuumed, unloaded dishwasher, want to get out into the yard before the beautiful, sunny 73 degree day gets away from me. NO RAIN today!! However rain on and off all weekend. Oh well I work both days at CVS, don't care bout it then...Too bad for qualifications at the track this weekend. Sigh, so over this d*mn rain....

Shaddie....I think maybe the P and humans are one in the same....we copy each other. How's that for a brilliant answer? haha. Get some rest this weekend.

Chelle...Jealous of your dirt, but I think after the cable man leaves I am going to Lowes and get me some MORE dirt and tomato plants and dig into the garden....happy dance here!!

Happy....I tell you, just pitch it all. I so wish I could come help you, it would be done in a flash. wink wink....hugs and hope you get it all done speedily...is that a word??

Ceejay...maybe this weekend you can find time to play around in your car...hmmm, that sounds interesting.

MELLIE...good giggly wiggly on the H that broke loose...here is Annie's bright side....at least it was only one day and NOT THE ENTIRE WEEK!! John will be back soon and you can take the week off...hugs sweet, onery sista of mine!!

Ellen...hugs and great endorphines to you, and GET TO THE DOCTOR!! Immediately...yes I am shouting!!

Laura...hope you are getting some of this great weather we are having today also. I may take Hella B for a walk if I don't lose too much time waiting on the cable dude.

Guess I will post and do something constructive, maybe the load of towels to be done with laundry. Oh yeah, think I will broom off the front porch and walk....

Much love and gobbs of hugs...

Morning

Annie
I want to get outside and trim/cut some bushes. They are over grown so I'll have to get out the ladder. To bad if the land lord doesn't like it.

Shad
Love the pictures of the pinguins. I'm agree with you and think animals do take of some human personality traits.

Happy
I agree that we do make a mess cleaning and decluttering. Especially when I'm throwing away things. I need to do this again very soon in the office area. I could stand to buy one more chest of drawersfor the office area. But where on earth would I put it.

Mel
Did the cable guy's get things sorted out yesterday?

I need to take the pay check to the bank and stop by the grocery store. I'm going to bake a meat loaf and get some things for healthy sandwiches.
