hey everyone! I just finished exercising but only for 15mins I will do the other 15mins later. but I was just wondering do you guys think exercising everyday really makes the difference? I exercise twice a week but I think that maybe if I do it everyday it would really help more with my weight loss and the way my body looks in general, even though my family says they can see changes in my body I really don't see any difference. Do you think exercising everyday would help?

Hey Krissy: Working out definitely makes a difference. How you eat gets the weight off, but working out can really help your body look more defined. You may want to think about adding in a little strength training too. Building muscle helps burn fat and gets your body looking leaner.

Matilda08: I've never been to Miami, but I'm sure you had fun! I'm trying to get to my goal weight by the end of the year.

Hi! I'm new! I decided to throw caution to the wind. I quit my job, enrolled in college, and since I'm changing my life, why not add losing weight to the mix?

misskrissy: There's a lot of strength training you can do without weights. You would just use your own body weight: pushups, lunges, squats, crunches, and burpees. I really like Jillian Michael's DVDs. She incorporates strength training. She does suggest you use weights, but the Ripped in 30 DVD can be done without them. Also, you can use things like water bottles or canned goods as a cheap replacement for weights.

girlwithcurls: Wow! Welcome to the group! Good luck with all of your new endeavors!

Thank you! Last summer, I got tired of just living life and moved to DC. It was actually a good thing, but I realized I was still sort of just 'floating by'. I suppose I could stand to be a little more fearful, but it's worked out for me so far.
