Drank too much last night ... feeling less than ideal today Woe is me! At least the weather's looking good for the weekend I aim to get out for a walk/jog on Saturday AND Sunday.

What's everyone's weekend plans?

well that was a disaster. Got down there and NO karaoke so went to another place - no one but barbie dolls then figured we were hungry so walked to maccas via the RSL to see if any music there and NOPE. so 2 drinks and a legend burger later (seared) I was home by 11.20pm

Yep, I'm on FB Gen ... Julia Dawson look me up! Hope you had a happy turkey day

Stink news that your big night out didn't happen Vonni At least you didn't wake up with a hangover though. My friend was so sick on Friday after our Thursday night drinks that she only lasted half a day at work. I wasn't feeling 100% but I wasn't sick at least!

I had a laaazy weekend and didn't really do any exercise at all. Got to get back on track though so will be back on the horse this week!

What's everyone else's plans for the week?

Hiya! US-expat and have been happily living in Australia for a bit over four years now. I'm planning on becoming a citizen in June 2011.

I'm looking to lose about 43 kilos, and I've done 2.1 so far... Long road ahead. I'm using OptiSlim for brekkie and sometimes for dinner to help manage things. I went on the plan 100% last year and ended up getting my gallbladder out in January, so I figure taking it a bit easy on the meal replacements would be for the best...

Welcome JM We need some new faces here! We used to have more members but people have gone AWOL so at the moment there are just a few of us trying to breathe life into this thread

I'll get on FB and add you tonight Vonni!

I have gone and lost my mojo again and it has occurred to me that I haven't exercised in a week. Not good! So, my goals for today are:

1) Exercise tonight
2) Make a good, healthy lunch tonight to bring to work tomorrow

Yay for me, both goals achieved last night. I went for a walk/jog of 5.6km in total of which I jogged 2.3km

Also made a good, healthy lunch to enjoy today.

Goals for today are the same:

1) Exercise
2) Make a good healthy lunch to bring to work tomorrow

Breathe! *smacks chest of the thread* Breathe!

I started off walking for an hour (husband drops me off and I *have* to walk home seems to fit my mentality at the moment) every weekday morning until my ankle protested. I decided that walking M/W/F and Wii Fit-ing for an hour on T/Th was the way to go. But the Wii Fit kicks my butt waay more than the walking (which I can't ramp up because of the ankle). I'm wondering if I should switch the days around.

Hrm.

Getting dropped off is a really good idea JM. That way you can't change your mind and shorten your walk!

I didn't do any exercise last night, hit the supermarket and met a friend for coffee instead. Tonight however, I have a walking date with a friend set up so I'll definitely be getting my workout tonight.

I'm doing well with bringing lunch to work rather than buying stuff. So long as I organise something in the evening I'm all good. Fail miserably if I leave it until the morning

I'm afraid that a lot of the time, I respond better when I have fewer choices. Getting dropped off means no choice but to walk to get home. In the past I've always responded best to diets that basically said 'yes have that, no don't have that'.

As I'm getting older, that's starting to change, but it was the only way I'd start exercise and stick to it long enough to transition over to something like Wii Fit where I have choice in not doing it. Haven't skipped!

My partner and I broke up last night. My call, things just weren't working. He's devastated, I feel awful and have a headache from crying so much.

Sucks
