I'm still here. I have been eating on plan and getting lots of walking done. I'm planning to buy a scale next month so that I can see where I am and get a good idea of where I need to be to get to my size 10 by January 2011.

I am getting back onto 3fc and I saw you all here!

Just wanted to say hello! Thanks for the inspiration with the weight loss process!

Without reading all 11 pages of posts, what plans are most of you ladies following?

I lost 27 pounds on fat smash a year ago and have managed to keep most of it off. So, I am back to try again!

Hope to hear from you!

Sheinthespirit - Welcome. Jump in and post your progress often. I'm a calorie counter and I work out daily except Sunday. I track my progress with measurements and clothing size.

Matilda - How are you and the 220s getting along?

Well yesterday was a great workout at the gym and I stayed within my 1400 calories. I'm still living with TOM and soon as it is over I will be excited.

BACK ON TRACK, YAY! So I was on here awhile back but my weight loss plans fell through (it happens). I am back though and was reading through the pages and pages of posts on here looking for ones about black girl hair.

I need some insight and support if anyone has any. I have natural hair (lots of textures and patterns in one snappy nappy head) and am getting really really tired of rocking a pony tail when the gym leaves me looking like a big sweaty poof ball. Any simple ideas? Anything specific I should be googling for ideas?

THANKS!

Sal - I'm natural but I have about 3-4inches so I either do two strand twists or a fro so. You could do a two strand twist before you go workout or something easy and it should hold and not have you looking like a puff ball.
Brit - As hard as you are working I would charge it to muscle building and the last days of TOM.

I had a really good workout and on track with my calories so I'm expecting great things on Saturday.

I'm Baaaack!! Sooooo did ya'll miss me???

So anyway my cruise was absolutely awesome!!!! I had a freaking blast my cousin and I. I must have slept a total of 24 hours the entire week i was gone. We were running, running and more running by day and dancing by night! I got to climb the Dunn's River Fall ( an actual waterfall). That was great, I was so thankful for all the squats i do because it didn't bother me one bit however my cousin was sore for three days!!! lol. I only gained 3 lbs and they are gone. I WI tonight so I will know my official weight and update my ticker

In other news I am officially a ZUMBA instructor and I should be Ace certified by November. People are going to actually start paying me next month. I can;t believe it!!! PINK Ladies Fitness has come so far!!!!

Matilda - 229 on a MONDAY shoot I don't have a doubt you can't make 199 by the end of the year!! WTG

Brit - You never cease to amaze me. Almost out the 150's!!! That is so wonderful. You are doing so great. I am glad you had fun on your first date. I love first dates.

Shay - True it is focused on WL mainly but we add a few personal things here and there. And when I am not feeling everything WL I take a break. But for me I have to check-in rather regulary....especially when I acting like I was born with a high metabolis!! lol

Sal and Sheinthespirit - WELCOME BACK

Sheinthespirit - I am on WW's and I work out a heck of a lot!!!

Thanks for the welcome Jigglefree and Cakebake!

I am currently doing Fatsmash Detox as a way to re-energize my lifestyle changes. I have done pretty well this week, but traveling is hard! Esp. with food based events.

But, again, life long changes is what I am after, not temporary gratification.

Looking forward to posting my progress often!

Hello everyone!!
Cake - Welcome Back. I was just wondering if you had returned from your cruise. Glad you had a ball. The Dunns River Waterfall was a beast for me when I went because I wasn't working out or anything and YEA MA'AM I was sore too.
Matilda - GONE GIRL!!! You are doing the dog on thang!!!
Sheinthespirit - You are going to have fun with this crew. Do post your progress often and you will the get the hang of traveling.

I just got back from my lunch workout and I did the Slim in 6 ab workout and it was INTENSE. I presume I will have a sore core tomorrow.

Okay so I took off yesterday to have a refreshing day. I went to Cato's and their clothes run a little small for me as they do not make room for my hips and booty. Well I was a little suspect about fitting in the 14 because I held them up and looked up at it and was like wow, I'm not too sure about this. But I tried them on and was fitting them slacks without lycra real well. Then I tried on a large jacket instead of the extra large to see how far I have left to go to get in it and it fit...it fit...IT FIT!!! WOOO HOOO! I'm feeling good today!!
