  • Hi jigglefree...do you run on the treadmill or on the road? I am so afraid of running....its the one exercise that I find hard to do.
  • I am in an especially good mood today. I rod my bike in the dark for the first time and Lawd have mercy that breeze is awesome. So I decided to ride in this morning as well . I did the insanity workout (which was a little disappointing for me...it was OKAY) and did a total of six miles!! I am awfully sore but I am not sure if its the workout or me having to push that bike which is 2X's plus my weight!!!! Anywhoo you ladies have a great day

Jiggle - Yippee!!!!! Now that you have hit that two mile mark, I promise you will racking up the miles!!! Seriously!! I am so freaking proud of you.

Matilda- YOu are right....This month will be different. I have a feeling you will reach 220 goal. Eh maybe i will reach my goal as well. We can do this. S/N: Thanks for the pic props

Slim Cb - With running comes...patience. You just have to take minute at a time, one day at a time. You set short goals (run for 5 Minutes/run that light pole, etc) and I promise you will be just Jiggle (our newest running machine)
  • Good morning ladies!!!

TOM is here but I refuse to let it stop me!!! Keep pushing ladies!
  • new month and time to be more focused than last month..im gonna chill on the cheat days...my ticker is looking too nice to go UP. i need to buy some weights too while im at it. last night i did a workout that was so hard for me to do months ago but was pretty much effortless last night, i felt like i wasnt even getting a "good workout" in.

i usually weigh every morning but ima skip a couple days and weigh in Saturday morning...i love having that weekend surprise and it motivates me not to go overboard on the weekend.i wonder if i can get to 155 by monday?
  • Oh my Brit...you are soooo close. Keep going. We are all rooting for you!
  • HOORAH!!! I ran two more miles today. It was hard today but I pressed through to the second mile because I have it in me. I've eaten well and am right where I should be calorie wise. So this is turning out to be a great start for the month.
Slim - I run on the treadmill. The funny thing is I NEVER thought I would be running...EVER!! I just started out slowly walking for five minutes and running a minute. I did that until I was able to run more than I walked. Then one day I just ran a mile. Before this week I would mix it up but still get in two miles. YOU REALLY CAN DO IT!! Take your time. Like Cake said, patience is required.
Brit - You are doing so well. Have you worked out you maintenance plan yet. How much weight gain leeway you give yourself before you know you have to get back to losing?
Cake - Thank you and the bike is NICE!!! You are my running inspiration!
Matilda - You got this girl. You push past the hard days and know there will be days that you miss the mark with your eating but just keep pressing.

What do you all think about do a 7 day on plan challenge within this thread. The idea I have is eat on plan and workout out for seven days straight. If you eat off plan or miss your workout for whatever reason you start your seven days over. It will be hard for me because I rest on Sundays but I will do it to get my seven days in. Check in frequently so we can help each other get through it. The thought is if you can do it for 7 days you can keep going. It's just a way to jump start the month.
  • jiggle..as far as maintenance,im thinking of dropping to 140ish and having leeway up to 145..nothing pass. i know i will still be eating the same and maybe even the same amount of calories and keep losing weight by mistake..i also plan on working out less (about 3-4x a week compared to 6 or 7)

im down for the 7 day on plan thing too!
  • i am down for the seven day plan. When will it start?
  • I was thinking we should start Today and yes I know Monday is a holiday but it doesn't mean we have use it as an excuse to go off plan. If someone comes in they can start on the day they are on. It's a short challenge unless you have to start over. I like short challenges because I can keep my focus and I see better progress.

Post your eating plan and post your workout after it's done. Not what you plan to do because stuff comes up.

Since I run I eat between 1500 - 1600 calories everyday. I'll post tonight where I landed in my calories and what I did for my workout.
  • Hello ladies today I wi at 231.0!!! Im confident that monday I will be in the 220s if not before. I refuse to mess this up.

Im also up for a challenge
  • Well So I start a 7 day challenge and gotta start over after the first day. I got in a GREAT workout and blew my calorie count. I didn't cook dinner and we ate out and I wasn't even very hungry. I was 200 calories over. I guess the good thing is it wasn't 3-4 days into the challenge. So Today is day one again. I bet this is the last time I start over until after I've completed seven days.

    How is everyone else doing?
  • last night had some take out food(in other words..alot of salt!) so i was up about .4 this morning.im sure its just the salt and not the fact i went over my calories cause i didnt!...almost at my first mini goal of 155.i should be there by monday if not sooner.

    sidenote:
i cant believe im getting so small...every time i type my weight, i swear its like its hard for me to believe it.
  • Happy Monday Ladies! I see everyone is on track and doing well. Personally I am trying to dig in to lose the remaiing pounds. I have lost 20 lbs so far and at times I feel like I want to throw in the towel but I am trying to stick with it.

I know its a holiday there in the States so enjoy! and try to eat OP.
  • yesterday i went crazy on the eating..but today i am 100% on plan..i even already got my workout done and headed to the beach soon!
  • slim- you dont have a long way to go you can do another 15lbs keep going i know you can do it!
