Hi Ladies,
I have been lurking for about 3 weeks now. I have decided to stop procrastinating and do what I should have done years ago, lose the weight. I am soon to be 39 in 3 weeks and I have this fear of turning 40 and being frumpy. I want to be 40 and fabulous. I have 2 sons, 21 and 9, and I homeschool the little one. I have been a sahm for the last 10 years. I wasn't overweight until after I had my oldest and I never lost the 60lbs that I gained during the pregnancy.

I have considered weight loss surgery and have an appt this upcoming week but it is not the route I really want to take. So here I am. I will try to post everyday for accountability. My overall goal is to be under 200 by the time I turn 40 next year. I have a doc appt in one month and if my numbers don't look like the doc want she has said she is gonna start prescribing meds for diabetes and I don't want to be a pill popper. I would like to lose at least 10lbs in the next month.

I am also a natural hair girl. I did the BC this past October.

Hey ladies, been resting up this weekend. I took my dress for alterations and I made it to my St Patrick's Day goal. So now on to the next one.
Gotta be a size 16 by May 16th.

I'm feeling pretty excited. I tried on lots of stuff in lots of stores and not a plus size in the lot! I didn't even go to the plus size section. This is the best feeling. Not having to go to the back of the store looking for the plus size section. I can look around the regular sizes. Man I feel really good.

I am just getting over tom, I ate a bunch of sweets over the weekend lol but I dont think I did THAT bad! I drank wine as well. Ill be back op this week as well

I managed to lose a lb over the weekend dont know how but Ill take it. Im down to 237. Just came from the gym and boy ol boy was it a workout. Im am BEAT!!!!! DId well with eating today as well. Hopefully the scale will show a loss tomorrow. My goal to get to 229 is well within reach for month end!

This is for the ladieeees, the sexy, sexy ladieeeees. How ya'll doing on this good Monday? I had an awesome, fantabulous, stupid, dope time at the Jay-Z concert last night! It was......awesome he is amazing! And Beyonce was there in the audience. Trey saounds just like he does on the cd in real life with a live band> And is sex-a! Jeezy got the crowd hyped! I manged to finish off the weekend with 15 flex points left! Not sure how but hey I am happy. I worked 65 hours this past week, so that could explan it. I ran 5 miles today, the first in a week and a half since I have been sick.

Brit - I have to say honey, you look smashing. Very hot

Matilda - That is great a mystery pound gone! LOL

Jiggle - Yay for meeting your goal. And I am so excited you got your dress taken in. Sexy back! Your hubby is probably more excited than you are

Oh I forgot to tell ya'll. I did my first sew-in install by myself this weekend. It turned out pretty well! Ppl can't even tell I got a weave!!! I found that has the same curl pattern as my hair. I wanted to do a protective style for a few weeks but i didn't feel like "black girl hair" questions. I wanted to post pics but I can't cause I can't find my camera cord. as soon as I do i will post!

Cake - That looks really good. You did a fabulous job. Glad you enjoyed the concert and you feeling better. Still trying to get my run on.

Matilda - Great Job on the pound over the weekend. By the time the end of the month arrives you will have transitioned into a new zone...220s

Thanks Jiggle.

I had an awesome day yesterday as far as eating and exercise. My little cousin met up with me and we ran walk 4-1/2 miles (she is just starting out and i am training her). We had a great time. we ended up running about 3-1/2 miles and walking 1. My running club will be starting soon...can't wait.

Good Morning ladies!!!
This morning has been off schedule and balance. I got up did the 30 Day Shred and had to take my husband to work. He usually has to be there by 5:30 and I'm back home before 6 to get the little girl ready. Well today he didn't have to go in til 6, it's raining and we got home about 6:30 and it went down hill from there. The baby didn't want to get dressed so that was a hassle, I couldn't find anything to fit right. Either the blazer was too tight in the arms or the pants were too long for the shoes or the shirt was too big and I ended up changing clothes 4 times. Dropped the little girl off at day care and ran into mad traffic. The traffic in Atlanta is madness in the morning. Get to work early and forgot all my food for the day. How could I leave the groceries?? I usually get that before I get the baby. Well for right now I have cheerios for my morning snack because I have those at work. Now I have to navigate through myself through the day, without going bananas. I on purpose don't bring cash to spend so I stay on plan. UUGGGGGGGGGG!! I'm blaming it on the rain today. I'll check in to let ya'll know how the day ends!

Hi ladies,
Thanks for the welcome. I still have been lurking everyday. So far this week I have just been focusing on eating. Normally I would not eat breakfast just drink coffie. Then at lunch I would just eat a sandwich , then by dinner I would be starving. So I am eating a good breakfast, snack, then lunch. By the time dinner comes I am not hungry. I have been taking my multi vitamin and fish oil. I am not sleepy during the day like I used to be. I am using splenda in my coffe or hot chocolate. I think I am doing good for now. Just focusing on the basics.

Hey Ladies,

My week has been crazy(car trouble, school, kids, etc) then to top it off its that TOM. Usually I would let this xtra stress lead to binging but this time I'm in control of my diet(staying OP) and exercise(getting at least 30 min. a day). So I'm xtra proud of myself.


Jiggle I totally feel u about starting off your day bad. At least u got your exercise in before the madness began.


Cake I love your sew in. I would have never thought it was a weave.

hey everyone..just came to report in that i am officially IN ONDERLAND!.scale reead 199.8 today..i was so happy i eveen took a pic..im trying to get to 195 at the end of the month
