  • I'm getting frustrated. I was losing so well, about 0.4 pounds per day, but now I've been the same weight since Saturday. I usually get stuck at 169 but it seems to be 173 now (I did start at a heavier weight than usual). This is my fourth week of weight training, and I have lsot an additional inch this week so I'm trying not to be discouraged. Today I plan on doing CLX Burn Circuit 2 and an hour of cardio. Might throw in some Ab Burner too.
  • Hi ladies

squishy- you know weight training will put weight on you most times but the results are the best. Dont let that get you down keep going....

Im doing well so far Ive lost 2lbs of the 8 i gained back Im just trying to get out of the 240's and 230's im sick of them both I need to see 220 on the scale!!

Last night I took step sculpt and did 15 mins on the elliptical!
  • Down 4lbs my first week...I will take that. For week two I am aiming to stay on the lower end of my calorie range (current range is 1600-1900), work-out six days a week, get ALL my water in (been drinking about 32oz, not 64oz like I should), and take another step toward kicking my sugar addiction.

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies and Congrats to all of the loosers .
  • Hey everyone. I've been doing pretty good on plan. I went to the mall and walked all over the place. One of my plans for this week is to drink at least two liters of water a day even on weekends. The more water I drink the more weight I loose. I workout enough and eat on plan the only thing I can think that would cause my weight loss to slow down is not enough water. I'm bout to kick it up a few notches.
  • Ok... so this is my second time trying to post. My computer frize up when I was trying to add pics, so I'll try to write something as moving as the original

I DID IT!!! I completed my first 5K!!!

It was 3.1 miles filled with rough terrain, 4 mudpits, a rock wall, 4 fences, jumping between tires and ropes, and other foolishness. I did it though!!! It's an amazing feeling. On my way home, I got a little teary eyed. I was sitting in my car thinking about how overweight I was before and how I was nowhere close to being able to do something like this a year ago. We're not just losing weigh ladies, we're changing out lives. I've always been the overweight girl, and I think I had accepted myself being that way. But after finding out I had PCOS, I decided to give the weight loss a serious try. Fastforward a year and a half, and look at how much my life has changed. I'm more confident, I have more endurance, and I actually just did a 5K- a crazy one at that! I don't even think i knew how much I could do until I was put in a position where I really had to push myself. I've even joined my county's running club, so I plan to keep this up. I guess I can officially call myself a runner now. Who woulda thunk it?!

Doing this has re-motivated me to keep pressing on and get to my weight loss goal. I KNOW how capable I am now, so there are no excuses. Thanks to all of you ladies for your support along the way! Couldn't have done it without you!!!

A few pics... we called our team "The SOLE Patrol"

  • Brit- Thanks so much! You have been quite the inspiration to all of us. Losing over 100lbs is AMAZING! You're definitely a WOC success story.

    energie- You're so sweet! Thanks!

Purdue- Girl, those mud pits were definitely a mess. Ya'll wouldn't believe how long I had to be in the shower! Thanks!

Matilda- Thanks! And YAY for being back on plan!

As for me, I bought the Jillian No More Trouble Zones DVD, so I'm about to give it a try. Hopefully I can stick with doing it a couple of times a week and go back to Body Pump. That should help me tighten this body up!
  • How do you sub a thread? I would really like to sub this. (Haven't read all of this thread yet, but it's nice and very supportive.)
  • Welcome newbies!!!!!

I hope everyone is having a great week!
  • I'm having a great week. I have been having all my water everyday, 2+ liters and most of the time 3. My workouts are going well and I have to do one more when I get home. I was going to go to the gym but gotta run some errands. Looks like it will be Jillian on the evening.

Beaka - Great Job. You may inspire me to try a 5k. I just don't really get excited about running but I do it because I like the results.
Matilda - I hope you are having a great week. How's your plan coming along?
Brit - Are you still doing the insanity workout? Losing 100 lbs is an awesome accomplishment. CONGRATS!!!
Energie - What do you do to get your water in?

Gotta get back on the grind. Holla at me!!
  • Hey, ya'll! Threads can't go over 500 posts I thin, so I'll go ahead and start up another. YAY! We're on to our 3rd!
