SHE WAS STRUGGLING WITH TOM AND JUST SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN BED. SENT THEM HOME WITH FOOD SO SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO COOK EITHER. THANK GOD FOR TRADER JOES. THAT STORE REALLY IS A LIFESAVER FOR BOTH OF US. "HOMECOOKED FOOD" AT DECENT PRICES. I SPENT THE DAY ONLINE BANKING. SORTING SUMMER CLOTHES AND GENERAL CLEANING UP. ALSO SOME ONE ON ONE TIME WITH THE BIRD. HE WAS FEELING NEGLECTED. HE LIKES TO SIT ON THE COMPUTER DESK AND WATCH. NOSEY PARKER! I EVEN HAD A SURPRISE VISIT FROM THE MAINT SUPERVISOR JOHN AND HIS WIFE...THEY BOUGHT A PRESENT BEFORE HE TOOK HER OUT TO EAT. REALLY VERY TOUCHING...ESPECIALLY WHEN WE FIGHT ALL THE TIME

Monday has really set in here and I have problems coming out of my ears. I would not be surprised if someone actually blew their top today. Might even be me.
I'm supposed to be doing regression testing. However someone forgot to give me a password into the test system. So I rung the 'help' number and it asked me if I wanted someone who spoke English. Yes I said. Well it was English but with an accent so thick he couldn't understand me and I couldn't understand him. What a shemozzle.
Enough of my problems. I'm passed p*ssed. I'll just keep doing my stocktake thing until someone arrives at the Singapore office in a couple of hours time. Add to that I have two people trying to do their job and the system doesn't work for them. They really need to get into it because they get paid on the input time and if they can't enter it, they won't get paid! Oh goody, now we have peoples livelihoods on the line.

What A Marvelous Weekend. Went And Picked Up Flowers At Joy's House, Then To Lowes Hardware, Then To Momma's House To Deliver Her Petunia Hanging Basket Which She Sits On The Table On Back Porch. Don't Know Why She Wants A Hanging Basket When She Sits It On A Table. Oh Well It Made Her Happy. Then Went Home And Planted My Flat Of Petunias In My Flower Bed, Cut The Grass, Planted Spring Mix Lettuse And Spinach. Will Try To Plant The Rest Ofthe Garden If The Darn Thing Ever Dries Out Enough.
Yesterday Was Marvelous, Baby Boy And Girl Came Home, We Went To My Momma's House For A Bit Then Came Home And Ordered Chinese Delivered. Pooing Like A Camanche' Today. Then Tony Came Over On His Harley And Took Me For A Ride. It Was A Bit Chilly, But Not Bad As I Had On Long Undies, Two Pair Of Socks, Jeans, Hoodie, Leather Coat And Gloves. I Know That Was Sexy! Not! Could Of Slept In A Bit Today If Not For Work. Shuweee Am I Sleepy Today.
Patty...thank God For The Extra Cash. I Know It Goes When God Closes A Door He Opens A Window Or Something Like That, However We All Have Other Plans For $$.

Hope Everyone Had A Terrific Mother's Day As I Did.
I had a busy weekend. I had to work most of Friday night and Saturday morning trying to figure out an issue a report was having. Couldn't figure it out as there was no logical (or illogical) reason for it to be happening...so I called my boss on his cell phone around noon on Saturday and explained the situation to him. He said to work with another team on Monday to try and figure out why this bug/issue is happening. And he told me to get outside and enjoy the weekend! Yay! So that got me off the hook for working the remainder of the weekend. So here I am this morning trying to figure out what's going on.
Yesterday, we went for a lovely drive. We ended up going to an area we learned about on the Internet that had lots of cool fossils. We found rocks with fossils in them that are over 200 million years old. Wisconsin was an inland sea way back when...prior to the existence of fish, reptiles, birds or mammals on the planet, so these were fossils of seashells, sea creatures and sea plants. Definitely way cool!
I've got PT today and Wednesday and an appt with the Sports Med Doc on Thursday. I'm doing better....slowly. The pain is still there, but a little less. So that's good.
Shad - I hope you found your friend a nice kitty. I love amethyst. I don't wear much jewelry... but I do like amethyst. Sorry to hear you had such a lousy stress-filled day. I hope the rest of your week goes better.
Ceejay - How nice that you're taking a long weekend off to go to your niece's graduation. I hope you feel better very soon. Rest as much as you can.
Patty - I wanted to wait to replace my windshield, but the crack just kept getting longer and longer. Bummer about you having to take your car in for repairs...but at least it's working now. Good luck with Jenny. Let me know how you like it.

Yes we got a kitten for Ruth - well she got it. It's a Chocolate point Burmese. Quite cute. Ruth has called her Aria. She has these hi falutin' names for cats. So far she has had Anthony and Cleopatra (must have been in an Egyptian fantasy), Chalcopyrite(known as Chalco) and Prozac (Zac) (from the mining days) and then Concerto and Puccini (she loves opera) - unfortunately Puccini passed on and now Aria has come to join the household. I rang her on Mothers Day to wish her a happy MD from Concerto and Aria. I might add that Concerto is not very musical!!!!

Another busy day for me. I had a really good, albeit painful physical therapy session yesterday. I'm still a little sore...but hopefully it worked some of my kinks out. And I got the go ahead to do more exercising...the therapist gave me several new hip, glute and leg exercises/stretches to do and said I could try riding a stationery bike for 10 or 20 minutes as long as I promised that I would stop if it was causing pain. My DMIL is coming out for a 2 month visit next Tuesday. I'm so looking forward to her visit!! DH and I have to do some housecleaning, so I plan to start on that after work today. I'll just do a little each day as I don't want to overdo and aggravate my hip and back.
