Day 6 & 7 - portion control during dinner - good

Just a quick one again today. Still helping my son to paint his room red. I'm only helping him with the picky work to make sure it's done right. I told him the rest is his doing, but it sure is taking a long time! Looks like 3 coats to cover correctly and he just finished the 2nd.

Default My goals

#1 I am going to excercise 30 minutes EVERYDAY for a minimum of 30 minutes. This is a going to be tough but I really thinki I can do it.

#2 I am going to keep a food log. It helps me be accountable for what is and isn't going in my mouth. I need to start taking responsibility for the things that go in my mouth.

finished my alcohol challenge!! although it has been longer but posting helps keep me on track *wink

time to start over and I think I'll add another challenge

Hi Everybody I have been away from 3fc for a long time and decided to jump in with a 21 day challenge. This is day 2 for me of working out on the My goal is for the next 19 days to work out at least 20 minutes.

Well, my son and I finally finished the worst of the painting of his room. Now, we're just working on touch ups and the trim. I actually like the red walls, but my husband hates it! The only thing I'm not crazy about is the black trim, although it really doesn't look bad, I, would probably go for an ivory color myself, but I'm not a 14 year old boy .

Welcome back Mscat! Good luck with your challenge!

Congrats Debbs on the no alcohol! That's a tough one!

Unhappy very blue morning....


1) No Alcohol -- Day 20 completed -- 2 pauses taken
2) One Sugar a Day -- Day 19 completed -- 2 pauses taken
3) Food Log -- Day 19 completed

Well, I'm almost finished and I'm ready to jump in and start all over again. I feel like starting over right now but will roll out the days to the final 21. I had two alcohol days, one just a tiny bit and last night, a lot. I must say I don't like it anymore, the drinking, the talk. I think these past two months have shown me a better way. Let's see where it takes me.

dj -- What can I say, you're doing so well on your challenge, rolling along being moderate. I wish I could say the same about myself. I'm in a real hate-myself mood, no doubt due to last night's drinking and my never knowing when to stop...sigh. I'm glad your painting work is done. Yes, ivory and red wouldn't be bad. I applaud your allowing your son to do his own thing. I wish I had had parents like you.

mscat -- I hadn't seen that you were indeed joining us again. Great!!! You've jumped in with a tough challenge. Best of luck and hope to see lots of you!

Yep ladies - I did it again - Day 3 of workout - did a 25 minute treadmill workout this a.m. Also Day 2 of no white foods! Down to 248 on the scale but I am not changing my slider until the begin of the week.

Red - Hope you're feeling better today and that you made your 21 days! Yeah, you may have had a couple of bad days, but all in all you've done well. By the way, my parents would have never let me paint my room red & black either. When my first 2 kids were young, I worked with a women who had a saying that I have tried to adopt. It's "chose your battles wisely", and when it comes to parenting, I truely believe in it and try to follow it. My first instinct when my son told me his color choices were to tell him he was crazy and to forget about it, but after thinking about it, I decided it was only paint and was relatively easy to be rid of it, so why make an issue of it. Believe me, he's 14 and we have many other issues that matter much more!

Mscat - Awesome job! Keep up the good work.

Hi Ladies - I am on day 4 of my exercise goal - did a 30 minute treadmill workout late on Friday evening. I am also on day 3 of NWF (no white foods)!

Congrats to Red and Deb hang in there - no alcohol would be a toughie for me. Me and DH have white zin champaigne at least 2 times a week
