I'd count it if I were you - I'd rather overestimate than under!

Hi everyone

Boy am I tired today. I went to the gym last night and did weights then abs and then 30 minutes of a tae bo type of class. It was so fast paced and man I was unco! This morning I walked to work and now I'm totally pooped.

I've got functions on for work both tonight and tomorrow night and there will definitely be yummy nibbles laid out at both. I find it so hard to resist them!

How's everyone else doing this week? Hope you're all well.

Went to the gym this morning - missed the BodyStep class by 5 minutes, so did 15min bike, 15min elliptical, 10min stepper. Had my killer chickpea salad for lunch, now off to meetings then work.

hope everyone is having a good day!

Oh dear, I was bad last night.

Went to a quiz evening put on by work. It was so much fun and my team got second! We won a lovely Air NZ cabin bag each and it was a great night. Unfortunately I got carried away with the free bar and drank far too much wine and ate lots of the nibbles provided. I estimate that I probably went over my daily allowance by about 16 points

Today I'm feeling slightly overhung and in need of a burger but I'll do my best to resist that.

I'll have to be extra good this weekend to atone for my sins. I hope you're all doing better than me!

I went to the gym this morning for PT - she upped my weights again, so I'll be sore tomorrow. Also helped someone move yesterday, and have pulled my hamstring a bit - ow. Did walk to and from the gym too.

Going positively at the moment, weight looked nice on my sneaked weigh in this morning, but we'll wait til official weigh in on Sat morning.

So.. I was right, my chest, upper back and arms were killing me today! Heh. I also got three vaccinations in my arms, so they are sore boohoo.

Had a meat pie for dinner (naughty) but was within points.

Forced myself to go to the gym last night and I had a really good workout once I was there. 20 minutes of high intensity interval training (HIIT) which I've been reading lots about. The theory is that 20 minutes burns as much fat as a normal 60 minute cardio session so I'm giving it a go.

Walking this afternoon and will do something tomorrow too. Hope you all have a great weekend

Funnily enough, I dropped the strenuous cardio this week due to my hamstring and just walked a lot, as well as my weights and at my weigh in this morning...

I lost 2.2kg!!

Ta-da! Weight Watchers seems to just agree with me, maybe I need to stay on it longterm..?

Thanks Kel! Sounds like you had a sucky week with car troubles! At least next week can only get better... right?

I'm kinda lurking Gen but am having the most difficult time trying to get myself together at the moment. And I think I've added on that 2.2kg that you so spectacularly lost this week (wonderful effort, by the way).

I'm fed up with myself and my poor efforts of the last few months, and not quite sure how to fix it.

I know I don't want to gain the weight I've lost. Just not sure where my motivation, and all those good habits I gained, have gone to.

Any tips?

Crap lost my post.

Ani - give yourself a kick up the arse! You've come too far to quit on yourself. You just got under 85, and now you know you can do it again if you need to.

There's no point getting angry about the past, just get up tomorrow and do it again for a day, and a week, and a month.

You don't need tips, you just gotta do it.

car troubles, baby reality, heat (i am a sooky bit*ch in the heat), sickness finally me, no kitchen finally got to me big time................... ho ho ho ho ho hum

ani - you "poor" efforts have still produced results, you know EXACTLY what to do - we are all diet experts we know how to cheat ourselves out of results on every diet known to man................. and we are sick and tired of it............ so we have all discovered calorieking and weightwatchers and realised that there is no trick to it and that is boring and depressing but so easy - why dont you just think to yourself you are freakin past half way and get under 80kg by xmas i suck at maths but i am sure that is less than 500grams a week, just drink more water and make yourself eat within the calories, well derrr you say..... so do it.
(you sound like a very clever educated person, you sound like you have a job that requires thinking, so think about your weightloss and realise it is not rocket science and that there is no excuse no to lose weight)

julia - good on you for forcing yourself to get to the gym, i had to do that on thursday, but my motivation ended up being that it would be 2 hours (bodystep followed by bodybalance) without jemima! (love the kidzclub) do you go to the classes?
