Good morning! I finished my mugs yesterday...I got seven rather large ones. In all honesty, I think they are more beer steins!

We went to Spaghetti Night last night and I forgot my Byetta in their fridge. I had to open the new one this morning...grr. It seems stronger than the last one, and I had a hypo episode that I am still trying to recover from.

BOB: Yep, he took his coat and the long soft scarf I knitted for him. He is leaving for Boston tomorrow morning, then going to Hartford, then back to NYC. I have NO idea when he will be home again. I miss the bugger when he is gone. I hope you all are all better soon.... poor little Tippy!

THUNDER: Yep, enjoy having that guy around, since he is gone so much. Yay you on staying legal!

TECH: Where have you been?

Hey, where is Country, Thinwithin, and Heart? And Gator STILL is not posting....come on you guys!

Sorry Monet-I'm here! I had a good long post typed on Sunday eve and then just lost it somewhere!

We got back Sunday from our allstate chorus visit to Savannah. I swear, you never would have guessed that it was middle scholl kids singing. Rachel was in a treble group of 260 girls and they were phenominal!

I am trying to get back into the swing of things eating wise. I did a lot of walking in Savannah and trying to keep that up! The time changes earlier this year and I'm hoping that will help with being lighter later in the evening. I don't like walking in the dark!

I did not get to weigh this week. I stepped on my scale and it started flashing 407!! I know I did not gain that much! It's time for a new battery, but I did not have any 9v, so it will have to wait till next week.

Hope everyone is feeling well or better as the case may be!

Hi all,

Okay...DO OR DIE!.........alas that's probably all too true!

I faced the one eyed monster. I am committed. Or maybe that's I should be committed!

I am going to try to install the little banner at the bottom of this. I've never been so public about my weight before. Always feel people will gasp in amazement.

MONET: Thanks for the tip. I didn't know that about walnuts.

BOB: Sorry that Kate had a bad doctor report. Thank God she has good vision in the other eye. Poor Tippy! Diesel, the beagle, is prone to ear infections. Vet says often happens to floppy eared dogs.

My DD is a nurse and has always worked the night shift, 11-7 or 7-7. Whenever she has worked other shifts she gets all out of kilter. You've beeen "nursing" a long time. You need a break. I hope things get better for you before you return to work. Or you'll be dragging your arse!

I've always been a night owl. 1a is my bedtime and am up by 7a. I am not usually a nap taker. If I go to bed early (unless I'm not well), I wake up in the wee hours and can't get back to sleep.

THUNDER: I remember........when DH came home after a week away it was a most romantic time!!! Congrats on legality.

Well I better test my blood, get some breakfast and put drops in my eye. I can stop the drops after Thursday.

Let's see if I can get the banner to work.

Hi all,

It worked! I did it! Me! Who's computer stupid.

Started that post quite a while ago. Was interrupted by phone call from a friend in OH. We always talk too long! I did not have breakfast yet when she called, sugar went down, now have a headache. It will go away soon.

Have to get busy. Haven't vacuumed in a few days. I love Bitsy, but she does tend to leave little furry reminders of her all over the floor. I brush her everyday too. But she's worth it.

Hopefully will check in later. TECH, MONET, THIN...HI TO YOU ALL.

May good things happen, Shirley

Default Good morning!

Howdy ya'll. I have been one busy camper the last few days and have really missed coming to the board. Eating has been so so but at least I've been more active than normal. No major changes on the weight.

It is so beautiful outside. I can hardly wait to get my walk in this afternoon. I hope everyone is doing GREAT so far today. ((Everybody))

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Hi everyone

I went walking this morning then off to bowling. May go to badminton this evening if I have any energy. The sun isn't shining to-day and I am feeling lethargic. Spent the afternoon doing laundry and cooking dinner. I'm having spaghetti sauce with spaghetti squash. The sauce was kind of bland so I just added some crushed chilis and a couple of oz red wine. Thought I would prepare it early and I can just warm it up when I am ready to eat. Eating has been good so far to-day. Had two fried eggs and one slice rye bread for bf, kippers and a salad and one slice ww bread with fruit spread for lunch. Will probably have another salad with the spaghetti tonite.

No time for replies now, have a few more chores to do around here. Will check in later. to all.

Hey everyone! I just got in from a walk with Tom. I had lunch with a young woman from church. I had missed her baby shower, then was sick the day I was supposed to take her dinner so I felt like a jerk. Her baby is now two and a half months old and I still had the baby blanket I made for her and her gifts here. I feel much better having gotten them to her. She is an artist...one of the best up and coming portrait artists I have ever seen...and she was very encouraging to me to 'go for it' with my pottery. I took lunch for us...it was spinach salad. Yum! I just finished a snack of two string cheeses and a few ww pretzels with a diet coke. I am going to make fish for dinner.

The weather was beautiful out! I think it may just be spring! We walked about 30 minutes, so I was pleased to have gotten that in. I think I will try and get some throwing in tonight. I am determined to get a casserole dish done! haha! The last one cracked, the one before that froze before it was fired, etc, etc.

Hello all--

Just got back from town, had to have blood drawn as this is the first chance I have had since I was in town Thursday for my appointment. It is snowing like crazy right now. We came through some spots that already had a couple of inches and now it is snowing here. When are we going to have spring??

Eating is still light, but I am not hungry. We stopped at the Golden Corral on the way home, as all I had after having my blood drawn was a Pria Carb Select bar at 8 am. It was going on 2 pm and DH was getting hungry so we stopped. I ate a salad and half of a burger patty with cheese.

Yesterdays menu---

B-- protein shake with blackberries
L-- weiner with 2 cheese slices
D-- steak with broccoli

I am sorry that I don't have time for replies, but will get here as early as I can tomorrow. I have to stop and check on Mom after Curves then will come on home. See you then.

Hi all,

Ever try to get an appointment with a new doctor, dentist or whatever? Called dentist today first available is April 9.

My headache did not go away as fast as I would have liked, but it is better now. Bitsy and I lay down for about an hour. Can't believe I have taken a nap three days in a row!!! Although we did not sleep, just lay quietly to give meds chance to work.

COUNTRY & SOLLY: All these busy people, I feel like such a gold brick.

BOB: Believe it or not our AC is running. It's not that hot but the humidity is high' When we moved here I thought all this humidity means curlier hair and better skin. I was half right. Hair does get curlier (mine is natural) but I suffer from dry skin. Then I realized.....we live in air conditioned houses, go out to our air conditioned cars into an AC store, etc. No wonder I'm dried out!

I used to get up at 6-6:30 when I was working. It took me a long time after I retired to convince my body that I didn't have to get up that early anymore and I would sleep in to 7:30. Then Bitsy came along! She likes 7 so we get up at 7.

If I go to bed tonight at 10 or 11, I might sleep the night through (probably because I don't feel up to snuff), but if go to bed 10 or 11 tomorrow night forget about sleeping the night through. I could write a novel, I'd be up and so wide awake.

Bitsy would eat anything as long as it resembles food! Vet had gfiven me syringes with heart worm med. What a battle! Had to get something in pill/treat form and now no problem getting it in her.

ROSALIE: Didn't you tell someone that we all need a lazy day? We should enjoy it. You may have felt lethargic, but seems like you did quite a lot.

MONET: Sounds like you made it up to your friend for not being there. Friends understand and I am sure you worried more about it than she did. She probably didn't give it a second thought. You're not a jerk.

THIN: Belated birthday greetings. I've got to get to those bios and birthday pages.

Eating has been good. I am really trying.

May good things happen, Shirley
