I'm starting Phase 1 tomorrow. Just broke a month long plateau, so I'm planning on getting out of the weight neighborhood I'm in and saying OUTTIE to the size I'm in!!!

Hello everyone!

I'm doing a phase 1 -- though not a full one, we'll see how the first week goes, and then I'll probably add 1 grain and 1 fruit per day. It's tough after not having done it for so long. That being said, I'm flushing out the water weight pretty quickly and feeling good (though kind of hungry all.the.time - I think it is more a mental thing).

I am on day 12 of Phase 1 and I am craving fruits. I already bought oranges so I can have one on Sunday. I will probably add a fruit every day but only have a grain every other day and see how the scale moves for me.

Has anyone used a dehydrator to make Kale chips? One of my co-workers brought some in that she had made in her dehydrator...they were SO good!! A lot more uniform in the crispiness department than when I do it in the oven. Now I want a dehydrator Just for the kale chips! ha ha

Oh, wow, that's a great idea! I may try to experiment with that this weekend and I'll let you know how it turns out! Thank you (and your co worker!)!

Yep...she said she just tossed the kale with olive oil and whatever seasonings....then did whatever you do to dehydrate them (no clue, I've never used one). They turned out so crisp and delicious. When I do them in the oven I always end up with some that are crisp and some that kinda chewy...do not like the chewy texture. Love when they just sort of melt in your mouth

Kale chips, hmm... Who thought to try that? I would if they were sitting in front of me.

Well, I got really sick on Saturday and it has only gotten worse... some kind of horrible chest cold ... some of the days have been completely off plan but others have been ~P2. Just trying to think of anything to feel better.... booooooo
So I'm out for now. Congrats to all of you wrapping up the two weeks

Two cheat-free phase one weeks in the books. I don't know what to do now... Stay on P1? Go to P2? Alternate days? I don't know!

I may have some fruit tomorrow. Or some sweet potato. I've decided no wheat for January. So no breads.. Maybe some steel cut oats or quinoa.

I'll be interested to see where the scale lands in a few days once my stupid TOM bloat goes away.

Well I officially wrapped up phase 1 yesterday. Did not lose any lbs on week 2 which I expected from my past experience, I am still down 6 lbs so I am still happy. I am going to do a Phase 1.5 so basically slowing adding in grains and fruits. I had a Phase 1 breakfast, my plan this week is just to add in some oranges and some oatmeal or sweet potatoes a few days this week and see what happens with the scale this week.

Had some popcorn tonight but I'm not feeling guilty about it. We had friends over to watch some football and everyone was drinking beer and I stuck with water and maybe two handfuls of popcorn. I'm okay with that.
