Hi guys!

Rules sound good to me. and we can just talk next friday and maybe amend them a bit.

My tummy hurts

I only had a 2 meal bars today (1 for breakfast, 1 for lunch) and by the end of work I was so hungry! There was a meeting... there was left over cookies and brownies, and after someone went, any body want some of these... I gotta tell you I was in such a zone, I don't even know how many I ate...
At the very least I'm starting out -$1.50 in the bank.

O well! Tomorrow is another day and I'm running 7 miles at 7am!!!

That'll learn me to eat those cookies!!

Hope everyone did well on day one of the competition, or atleast! better than I did!

Linda: Wish I could dance, I tend to just flail un-rythmically

LauraCarrot: want to be upset tummy buddies ? Next week, let's pick something better to bond over!

I'm impressed. I tried to get through 7 miles last Sunday and only made it 4.4 miles. I'm trying again this Sunday. Wish me luck!

Talking

Russ and I went and saw a movie last night. "Failture to launch" It was hilarious!! Had some bad language in it but the movie was oh so funny.
I normally have popcorn, drink, and candy but I didn't get anything. Actually, we got there as the movie began so we didn't have time to get anything.

Laura I am so glad you are starting to feel better.

Amber that was .50 Cents per cookie!! Just messing with you!

3gwriter, AmberD, you two are unbelieveable. Do you actually run the entire time or do you stop and walk and then run? What gave you the desire to start doing it?

Good luck with your 7 miles 3gwriter!!

I just finished mine, and I'm pretty sure I'd keel over and die if I had to run the whole 7 miles. I run 3 minutes, walk 1, Repeat. I average anywhere between 12:30 and 14 min a mile.

I gotta tell you though, I wouldn't have to the motivation to do this all on my own. I signed up to run the marine corps marathon through a fundraiser for AIDS. They train you and you help raise money.

It's much easier to get out of bed when you know six people from your team are waiting for you and expect you. And I know I would stop after three miles if they weren't there to keep me going

So I guess it's all about team spirit and support! Kinda like it is with you guys!

K gonna go shower. Cause you wouldn't believe how bad I smell!

I have $2.00 for yesterday with water and exercise. The amendments sound fine to me too. We can look at it on next Friday and see where we can go from there. I agree that the running should count a little more since it is definitely more effort. I've got 2 1/2 miles of walking and 4 glasses of water in today, so I'm off to a good start.
Amber D:that is too cool about the running. Good luck on your marathon. It usually takes me around 15 to 17 minutes to do a mile when I walk. Although this walk video that I do, it does 1 1/2 miles in 20 minutes. I would love to be able to jog. I'm going to try it when I get down smaller. I'm hopeing that if I weigh less that it won't aggravate my osteoarthritis. Anyway I have my fingers crossed.
Potato: That was great at the theater. I know that is a trigger for me. The last time I went I ate 2 buckets of popcorn. I havn't gone back since. I'm trying to plan strategies for the next time I go. Like sneaking in some of my own 94% FF popcorn to snack on, or something else.
AmberD and Laura: You gotta get those tummies feeling better. Although maybe if I didn't want to eat I could lose more weight!!! lol
Anyway, everyone have a great day. Keep up the water and exercise and stick to those diet guns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My scale finally moved! It turns out that TOM came a bit earlier than usual so I think that was the reason for the lack of movement.

Hi everyone!! So far so good with today's excercise and food. THis little challenge was EXACTLY what I needed to get back on track!!! I woke up early and went for an early morning walk and while I was at it....checked out the neighbourhood garage sales! Then I headed to the gym right after the boys tae kwon do classes. Can't believe I'm still sore from the body sculpting class I went to on Thursday, but yup I am.....I up'd the weights I was using. Dh and I have a 'date' to go out tonight to the casino. wooohooo, mama needs a new pair of shoes!!! Have a great day!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks Potato for the update on the posts, I've been kind of in hiding, still reading everyone's posts just not adding anything. I fell off the wagon...again...and was kind of ashamed but I am starting back at it tomorrow morning and hopefully with everyone's support I can keep doing it this time. I've had some things going on that were stressing me out big time and when I get stressed I eat. Anyway tomorrow is a new day. I will weigh in tomorrow and try to get the week in. I think once I can make it through a week, I will be ok. Good luck to everyone, I will keep you posted as to how things are going.

Take care everyone...

Browneyed if you will commit to dropping a line each day it will help staying on track. Sometimes its not all about dieting and we can be there for you too when its not.

Angel are trying to take my crown???: You are kicking my butt in the exercise But I did at least move it up a notch to 15 min. yesterday. I figured if I'm going to do it I might as well get my money. today I went swimming I thing that counts as exercise. We were out there for 3 hours but I am only going to count 15 minutes of it as exercise because it wasn't a consistent swimming. But hey something better than nothing.

Good for you Jeanne!! Finally the scale moved!

Well I'm off again I will write again later and catch up

Weekends are so busy around here.
