Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: My addiction to the taste of food. It's not that I necessarily want to eat the food, I just want to taste it. Another big hurdle is that I feel like I have gained so much weight that it is almost too overwhelming to get started & think about how much more I have to lose.
Following any specific plan: Just calorie counting, exercising everyday & just started this week drinking 1/2 my weight in water everyday...and yes, I have to pee 400 times a day!
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Fear! I don't want to be unhealthy. I'm a worry wort, so I'm always thinking that something is wrong with me. My grandpa had diabetes & I am terrified to get that. I don't want to have a heart attack either. Anyway, I just don't want to be slowly killing myself with food. And I want to be SEXY!!
Anything else you would like to share with us: I am so thankful for all of you. I seriously come here multiple times a day to be encouraged & it has helped so much. I have stayed OP for a while now because of the incredible support you all provide!

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I love food. That's the problem, I love things that taste so good, but are so bad for you!
Following any specific plan: Not really. I switched to whole grain/wheat stuff a couple years ago, getting better at sticking to that completely. I eat more veggies and fruit. Less portions...it is pretty hard stuff.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I saw a really bad picture of myself, well, pictures. It is awful to see how you really look opposed to how you think you look. (For once in my life, I actually thought I was thinner than I actually look!)
Anything else you would like to share with us: My highest weight was 246 in Jan 2005...it was right before I had our first son, so some of that was baby. I never saw that weight again, Thank God! Now we had another baby and my weight only got up to 236 this time. I lost a lot of that quickly, that is why I have my starting weight as 220...that is when I actually stopped and said "enough is enough". I need to lose this weight once and for all!

Other than that, i live with 5 girls with perfect bodies and no need to eat right or work out...so its kind of easy to mindlessly eat when its all they do and their bodies never change.
Following any specific plan: Just cutting down on calories, not eating fast food, and actually working out, not just pretending at the gym while i spent more time complaining than working out.

Following any specific plan: Not really, my plan is to cut down on the amount of food i eat and try to stop the binge eating. I am also working on eating healthier. It would be nice to get motivated to get to the gym and work out and remember it is one step at a time.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I have wonderful ambition and I know that I can do it. I'm on a mission, I have a plan and I have wonderful support from my boyfriend and everyone at 3FC. AND I'M SEEING RESULTS!!!
Anything else you would like to share with us: The support I'm getting here is wonderful. It's like a warm blankie to come online and be able to share. No one in my family or friends or cowokers wants to hear about my success with weightloss. I actually get torn down and made fun of because I "work at it so hard" and "can't eat anything". I love this little oasis of support. Best of luck to everyone! I know you can accomplish your goals!!!

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Seeing as I've just started, I guess it would be what it was a couple of years ago, Giving up.
Following any specific plan: Well my b/f and I have started to do protien shakes for bfast and lunch with healthy snacks and dinners. We've decided to go this route to ease our way into calorie couting. =)
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: My weight has drastically increased in the last 4 years. Back then I was 140-145, currently I am over 200. I never really thought much about being 165lbs. When I hit 180, I also hit the gym and a no-carb mentality. I was shreding lbs so fast, it was a quite alarming. I soon realized after not sticking with it, I gained all my weight back + about 20lbs more! This was 2 years ago and since then I've gained about another 20 lbs putting me at 200-208.
What's different now is that I am only 26 and can feel my body ache at every little turn. Also, my fair skin has gotten really bad too.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I am so thankful that I ahev stumbled uopn such a wonderful community as 3FC! I look forward to meeting and supporting new people!
Hobbies/Interests: I used to go out a lot, but in my ripe old age I've calmed down a bit and I actually prefer just "hanging out". Sadly it's cost me some 'friends', but now I know the people around me are true friends and really wonderful I LOVE shopping even though it gets me in trouble sometimes..and going for walks. Right now planning my(our) wedding takes up a lot of time so I guess that's my hobby by necessity.

Goal Weight: Um. I don't know yet. I have a closetful of clothes I fit into 3 years ago.
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I eat when I'm bored, sad, lonely, happy, nervous, celebrating, mad..pretty much any emotion. I can't feel real hunger anymore..I need to re-learn how to eat like i normal person.
Following any specific plan: Weight Watchers..I like the common sense-ness of it all.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Uh. TRIGGER?! there's no easy way to explain..I used to be bulimic. And eating everything in sight is a lot easier when you don't deal with the consequences. I still eat like that a lot of the time, only now I can die from intake rather than output. But now that I've dealt with all the emotional stuff I want to start healing the physical part and re-learn how to love food in a totally different way.
Anything else you would like to share with us: This place seems really wonderful and supportive and I'm excited to do this for real finally. I've gained 40 pounds in 3 years..I'm technically obese..somehow I got to this point and I need to reverse it NOW. It CAN be done and I'm determined to do it healthily!!

Present Weight: 241lbs
Goal Weight: i say 180
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Motivation... the desire to lose weight comes to me in little spirts... if I get a glance at a current picture of myself with extra baggage or chins that usually puts me back on track for another 5-10 pounds or so.
Following any specific plan: I am doing Herbal Magic... a canadian diet place. They give me natural pills and counselling. The focus is on moderation of the food groups.

Following any specific plan: not as of yet
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: that I really want another baby - but refuse to try starting out heavy again. I was about this weight when I got pregnant and when the number went over 200 when I was nine months preg. I almost passed out - so this time I want to start much, much lower.

Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: Forever -_- officially October '08 ^_^
Starting Weight: 225
Present Weight: 209

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Laziness. I start off so well and then I just lose my motivation. Lack of exercise is another one, I started out swimming every other day but now it's too cold to go so I've stop my exercise all together!! I use my allergy to the sun as an excuse a lot, though I am actually worried about it, it shouldn't rule my life.
Following any specific plan: No, I don't. I just try to eat well, but even that is falling apart.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I have an amazing love in my life that I want to look good for, and for myself of course. Before I used to think I could never eat another Reese's again, and that just made me want one more, but now I see it's ok ONCE IN AWHILE, not all the time.
