That drink sounds delicious. I have no idea what your friend meant, but it's not uncommon for friends to get jealous/snippy when they see someone losing weight. Just ignore the comment. Maybe she meant something, maybe she didn't. The important thing is, you're being healthy and getting fit. Good for you.

I'm going out for drinks tonight. I volunteered to drive, so that will automatically limit me to 1 drink (or 2 light ones). New weight loss strategy? Haha

You might be reading into it too much....but you have valid feelings if she did mean something snotty about it. The drink sounds really good though. I might have to try that sometime. My sister laughs at me since i never graduated from the 17 year old drinking mentality and still drink the hard lemonades. The Mike's Hard Light Cranberry Lemonades are pretty good though....haha!

Thanks for the encouragement guys. If comments become more common then I'll know to bring it up to her, but I won't get in a huff about one ambiguous remark.

That IS a good strategy, haha. Maybe next time you can volunteer to walk - get your exercise for the day in too? Just kidding!

I always see those lemonades in the store and wonder what they're like. If I drink anything too sugary I'm in bed all the next day with a wicked headache. Maybe if it's not sweetened with sugar that wouldn't happen! When you said the 17 year old mentality I immediately thought blacking out and getting grounded...not quite what you meant (I hope), haha.

I bought sugar free chocolat jello pudding and I'm in love!!! They're only 60 calories so after dinner every night I have one for dessert. Thank you so much for the tip, it saved my life!

So good right? I like them straight out of the fridge...mmmmm. I've put them in the freezer with a stick through the lid and eaten them like a fudgesicle too.

Also, I'm officially breaking up with my scale. It weighed a 5.5 lb bag of flour as 4 lbs. It weighs me 5 lbs higher than any other scale. I can't wait to start using the one at the gym again...

I hate inaccurate scales. Mine will give different weights depending on where you place it, so now I always weigh myself three different times in three different places and take the middle number. I'm not sure if I want to buy a scale when I get back to school, or if I should just use the gym scale. I hate weighing in front of people, but do I really need to buy a scale just for convenience?

So I went out last night. Had one beer and sips of my friends' 2nd and 3rd rounds haha. But! I did have some late night food w/everyone else, which I totally should not have done, but late night food after drinking always sounds delicious at the time.

Anyway--back on track today. Not sure how weigh in is going to go tomorrow...

Yep firefoxy, we just have to get right back to our plan when those off nights happen. Food after the bar is so hard to turn down, I managed to get out of hot dogs last night after going out (it's a holiday here today) but only because it was way out of my way home haha.

Weigh-in time!

Ugh so really bad day to weigh-in for me. Had a complete and total breakdown in the diet world last night and binged hardcore. I know "179" is not accurate because yesterday morning I was 176 and never in my life have I put on 3lbs in a day, so I know the binge (especially all the salt in the snacks I ate) play a role in that number. Wondering where my self control went... ugh... but.. I promised I would do this to stay accountable. So day one, however horrible it may be, hopefully means I have nowhere else to go but down in pounds.

Was bummed about the weigh-in when I realized it's the week before TOM for me. Kind of excited, because I always bloat up like a balloon beforehand, and then the weight all comes off during/after. I know it's all in my head, but it's nice to see the numbers go down!

ahyessophie -- Good job resisting temptation!

AshleighAO -- put the binge in the past and get back on track! You'll see the water weight (and more) come off in no time
