Well, I took the weekend mostly off from exercise because my left knee/ankle/hip was killing me on Friday's run, so I can't expect too big a loss. But at least the scale went down!

Great job with your losses, ahyessophie and SarRawrNaomi! How much longer do you guys have until school starts for you?

A beer tour sounds fun, AshleighAO...did you get to see how it's made, and everything? I don't actually like the stuff, but it would be cool to see!
Fun and a loss this week? Awesome!

lisa130, I've been the DD for the last few times my friends have decided to drink, because I'm deadset again drinking my calories, especially with alcohol.. mostly because I know I'll want to hit up the greasy diner breakfast afterward and that's too much work to burn off/work into my plan. :P It might be just water weight, if you were eating a lot of salty stuff? Keep faith

I had the craziest week with my weight. Anywhere from 182 to 185! Ugh bloating.

Also, congrats on the losses, everyone! Seems like everyone's having fun while losing weight, which is awesome. We're in our twenties--might as well enjoy it while it lasts!

Great job this week everyone!

lisa130 - omg yes. I went out on Sat...drinks, after bar food (I had sworn it off!) and little sleep. Sunday I was so worn out that I mostly just stayed in bed. I wonder what I could've lost had I skipped the alcohol! At least I had fun

pinksparkles - I start on the 6th. I think that means 4 weeks to go? How about you?

firefoxy - YES I absolutely want to enjoy the rest of my twenties (all 9 years remaining haha) as a thinner, healthier, happier me!

Got a little off plan at the movies today with the Twizzlers. So good. Luckily I had a light dinner so I didn't go TOO overboard, but still. Woulda been nice to skip it. Back to plan tomorrow!

I'm a little behind, but I'd love to join you guys if I could! I've got just under a month before the school year starts for me. It's my last one, so I want to go out stronger than I went in.

I'd like to get down to 140 by the end of September. I can't have another year like last year, so I'm pretty determined to do things differently.

Great job so far, everyone!

mindymoo12 - of course you're welcome! I think most of us are tired of this school-induced weight gain. Gotta make good habits in time for school so we can stick with this!

I'm a bit down today - I weighed in at 165 after all my excitement for hitting 163. I'm praying it's sodium, but I'm worried that my low days (Sunday/Monday) were just me being dehydrated... overdid it on the alcohol and little bit on Saturday so that could've left me parched. Aye! We'll see how tomorrow goes.

The more the merrier, mindymoo12, welcome! I got so stressed and gained a lot of weight last year from eating crap and never exercising because "I didn't have time". If I replaced all the times I had meltdown/cried because of stress, I could have been out running or something to prevent that. Looking back, you can always see your mistakes. :P This year will be a fresh start for all of us!

I start on the 6th as well, ahyessophie.. 4 weeks to go today!

pinksparkles I feel the same way! When I got the stressed the first thing to go was my exercise because I "didn't have time" and I feel like if I MADE time, studying/stressing would have gone a lot easier, and I wouldn't have packed on the pounds and felt like sh*t. They say experience is the best way to learn from your mistakes...

ahyessophie -- A few twizzlers is nothing! You probably made up for it with the light meal. Calorie-wise anyway, sugar is another thing. It could totally be water retention w/your recent WI as well. Drink lots of water, etc., and I'm sure you'll be right on track soon again.

mindymoo12 -- Welcome!

Weighed in at 183 today, so I'm thinking that last week was mostly water weight, and it's slowly coming off now. I am now drinking more water than I can possibly imagine needing haha

firefoxy - glad your weight has settled at 183! I'll be overloading on the water too. I'm downing a bottle at work as I type this.

pinksparkles & lisa130 - totally agree on the "I don't have time." Other people have time! I can find time too!

firefoxy - took your advice and woke up 2 lbs lighter. I do not understand the scale. I'm hoping in a few weeks the measuring tape will give me a more accurate idea of change.

Anyone else think of moving away from the scale to measurements or another way (body fat maybe?) of tracking progress?
