Time for me to jump in. I was waiting til I got to 129 before I joined the featherwieghts. I still feel too heavy or something but I'm feeling more and more shunned by people on the main boards the lower I get.

Last week I went to the doctors and on those scales I weighed 58.8 kgs or 129.8 ibs or something. Unfortunately, homescales aren't as friendly and are still flickering over the 131-133 mark so that's what I'm counting.

I'm still here (last post I was at 136) but I had a whoosh the other day and I'm down to 133.5. Some of you more recent posters sound like you won't be in this thread for long. Alas, I expect to be here at least until the end of the month. See you in the 120s!

Up to 131.2 this morning. Hoping it's TOM-related. I had a pretty good week calorie-wise, but didn't get as much exercise as usual. Trying to keep calories closer to 1200-1300 for this week and get more exercise in.

yakulla, nice whoosh!

isabella, how are you liking c25K?

belmagick, I would think the doctor's scale is more accurate, but can see how you need to track your losses at home. Is there any other scale you can use consistently though?

bama, hopefully this is the week for both of us - we're so close! Getting below 130 has been really tough for me since I gained this weight 3 or 4 years ago, ,but I am determined this time!

Natamars: I think c25k is a fun but tough challenge.

Hello WFM! I'm happy to see someone else here. I saw in another thread that bamagirl is now in the 120s (woot!). Natamars and belmagick look like they are *really* close. Not sure where IO is? No one else has posted recently. Anyways, I'm holding at 133.5. I'm not expecting to lose more than about a pound a week, so you can keep me company for a bit.

WELL - I looked back to page 1 of this thread and found that on 11/11/10 I was exactly the same weight as I am now. No, wait - I lost a grand total of 0.2 lbs - @ 135.2.

My weight-loss "journey" - more like meandering - has been ridiculously slow; it has been two years now of chipping away at my weight after I reached my highest weight ever in June 2009.

The good news is that once I dropped below 140 around last September, I haven't bounced above it, so clearly I have managed to reset my "normal" 4-5 pound range because for sure I haven't been on plan all this time.

I got down to 131.4 last month then went on vacation so I am back to where I started.

I don't check in here very often because I am trying to focus more on fitness than the number I see on the scale. (but I would love love LOVE for that number to be 129.8 or less!!! so here I am)

Congrats to all of you who are marching through the 130s!! If I didn't have the benefit of other featherweights' stories/trials/tribulations/successes I would have gone by now...

The scale is torturing me. 130.2 this morning. Had hoped my 4.75 mi walk/jog last night would do something. Then I realized I had to go to the bathroom. Great, I thought, this will do it! Nope, 130.0. AUUGGHH!!!!!

Emma, I totally understand. I track my weight and I'm where I was last May! I got so frustrated with this 130 plateau that I got very sloppy, eventually getting all the way up to 141 over the holidays. Struggling in the 130's is better than letting the scale climb up again. I think we're all pretty amazing for sticking with this!

Hi everyone! I feel like an imposter sticking my head in here (I definitely do not feel at ALL like a 'featherweight'), but I just squeaked into the 130s this morning (139.8) and noticed that this thread was far busier than the one in the 20-something forum. I'm just happy to make it in the 130s but I'm sure the frustration will build soon :P

I don't have a scale at the moment, so I measure myself with a tape.
My last measurements were 94 cm hips and 93 cm waist. My new ones are 93 cm hips and 92 cm waist. It's going the right way!!

Natamars, I LOL'd so hard I started choking.

Anyways, I'm up .5 lbs. I'm hoping that is a prelude to another whoosh. Will check tomorrow morning.

Stay healthy, everyone!

I guess it's a digital vs. analogue thing. The one at home is a pretty cheap old thing but it's one I've been using since the beginning. I'm actually a student and about to move back home in a few weeks so I might invest in a digital one then and take the chance of an increase. A few pounds really won't matter in the long run since my goal weight is an estimate, it's really going to be about vanity ibs so I'll stop when I am happy and healthy and I expect to fluctuate while I maintain anyway.... if I ever get there! agh!

This week has been so hard. I've been visiting my partner's parents and it's been his dad's birthday so there's been cake, treats and meals out galore which I find so hard to resist when I'm trying to be polite. It's funny how the thought of putting on a ib or even three makes me feel so guilty and disgusting even though just a few weeks ago I was absolutely thrilled to weigh 133 ib and felt fantastic and I don't even know how much I've put on. Oh well, can't wait to get home, maybe I can make it into the 120s before graduation?

129.6 this morning!!! Yess!!!!!!!

Still can't believe it's real, so I'll be hanging out here for a few. The 130 plateau only took me about 2 weeks this time - last year it completely slammed me and sent me into a year-long up/down cycle.

yakulla, sending whoosh vibes your way!!!
