Hello All,
I have gotten so busy. I don't like it when I'm like this. It makes me feel overwhelmed and that's not good because I tend to overeat. I did that over the weekend and by Sunday I felt miserable. My energy was gone and I felt sick.

So yesterday I detoxed with no sugar, just veggies and some watermelon and I went and worked out and I went to bed earlier than I have been. I'm feeling much more like myself today and my outlook is brighter.

I don't know why I'm always amazed at how much better I feel when I eat right and exercise.

I didn't have a weigh-in last week but Thursday is coming up and I'm working hard. I hope I can undo any damamge that I have done by then.

Stay motivated everyone.

Hello to the newbies. It's nice to have you with us.

I've got a ton of work to do this week. I'll check in tomorrow or Thursday.

Was down 2 lbs last night at WW, which confirmed what I thought. Happy with that.

My challenge for this week is to jounal all food that enters my mouth. How about that challenge for all of you?? My memory seems to fail me at times on what I have eaten for the day. Not on purpose, of course, it is just old and blonde. LOL

Congrats to the losers, welcome to the newbies, it's a great place.

(((HUGS)))

Stevi~Weight was 259 now at 212 want to get to 170. I am 5' 10" so I am feeling pretty good even at 212. I know the second half take longer to lose but I have already changed my eating habits and lifestyle so it should be easier as far as that goes. Good job to you, too. Half way feels pretty good, huh?

I can see that you Silly Billy....I meant from your last weight, what was the change that brought you to 212. Cuz you said that you are now down 47 lbs...I thought you might have stalled or struggled or something.

Woke up happy but life gets in the way. Very sad about Clyde. He was so old and very sick. Wish I could have said goodbye. Clyde( my 17 year old cat wioth kidney disease) snuck out the door a few nights ago and has not come back. We think he went away to die.

Had an email from a parent about my letter home, supportive but a comment was made about how differently we parent our children. It was a shock. We have quite similar practises as far as I have known.

Other parents will be here is a few minutes.

If nothing else it stirred up the pot. If things change because of it at least I will have a more clear idea of my own path.

Saw hubby for a few minutes this morning. He taslked about Clyde. He gets snarky but I kow he is very upset. I try to be compassionate but it stirs up a gut reaction.Like I want to kick him.
Wouldn’t kind words and tone be easier.

Time for a coffee.

Good Morning and HUGS!!!!

oh, duh, lol I was stuck at 219 for about 2 1/2 weeks. Then one morning after a previous day of peeing and pooping like CRAZY I was down to the 212. My body must have been doing a flush. I weighed again this morning and I am at 211, but I like to wait a week to make sure the weight is really gone before changing my profile or anything.

Default Woo hoo! neat thread-I'm heading south to onederland

What a great idea! This is my goal to get to 199 in September--anytime in September.

I feel like I'm a walkin fool-6 miles this week, I ate chicken salad for lunch and I'm retiring from the kitchen with a 35 cal hot chocolate every night after dinner. Wish for me three things; will power, a clear plan and good health.

Thanks, Dee!

Good morning, ladies...
Yikes--I was bad last night eating 3 pieces of pizza and 2 slices of pecan pie, plus a beer. All from the stress of fighting with my husband over something stupid! However, we finally fought, then calmly discussed the issue, and I feel much better today. The scale is surprisingly still at 210, so I'll be extra good today. My goals:

drink 10 glasses of water, plus green tea
eat only fruits, vegetables and fish
walk 1/2 hour on the treadmill
lift weights for 15 minutes

Tiff, good luck reaching your goal. How long will your husband be home? I saw your mini-goal photos and you look great! You're so pretty. I can see quite a difference.
Dee: Welcome and good luck on your goals!
Holly: I feel your pain on the loss of Clyde. Bless his little soul. I totally relate to wanting to kick snarky hubbies!

Stay motivated, everyone!
Joan

Default Life is a highway...and I'm a 2 ton truck!

But not for long, I hope!

Did really well yesterday, am hoping this time I change my habits permanently. Ate well, drank 8, and walked 2 mi. I lost 2 pounds, and I'm feeling good about today.

My slogan to reach 199, "Remember..any time in September"
