I did think about getting him to keep it (the cheese) at work like he does chocolate, biscuits and cake. The problem with that the chocolate, bisucits and cake can be locked in his desk or locker but the fridge is shared with others and if you leave something in it overnight it has invariably disappeared by morning - presumably in to the night lads' tummies although they've always denied it!

I'm thinking about cutting it up in portions and freezing it which isn't ideal for blue cheese but at least it will stop thoughtless munching.

2 frus - your DH will either be a very happy man or very frustrated!

Re clinique. I hate the DDML and only liked one of the foundations (came in a blue tube - something like workout but cannot remember). The others and the powder made my chin itch. Did not like the glossy mascara but I love the eyeshadow duos and I have the Violet or is it purple quad, the tube eye shadows and some lipsticks. The colours are really great. Oh and an eye pencil too. Quite like the eye cream thing all about eyes. I love their comfort body butter or whatever it is called - in a tube. 'Their' cocoa butter but with posher scent. I got that one Christmas and love it.

Default I resisted the muffins!

Considering I have been little Miss Binge (or Mrs Binge I suppose now!) since Saturday I am incredibly proud!

I was in the kitchen making my BfL Apple Pie (which really is DA BOMB!) and thinking, "I'm not really very hungry for this..." When in walks a guy with a HUGE tray of ginormous processed muffins

Nope, not for me! I carried on with my apple pie!

THEN one of the guys brings up a plate of 3 after I tell them there's muffins in the kitchen and offers them round! GAH! Nope, still none for me!

I want to walz round the room singing, "I resisted the manky muffins, I resisted the carby sugary fatty muffins, you're all going to die of a heart attack!" Well perhaps not the last bit, that would be mean!

Oh and NOW there's someone saying, "Oooooh! These are lovely, great big junks of chocolate in them... Mmmmmmm!"

No. CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS ARE THE DEVIL.

Nuff said.

re clinique:

I'm not able to use it either, but I can use Benifit, their new foundation comes in a compact, and its one shade for all. It looks very dark but somehow blends to match you skin. I'm quite fair and love it. Its got me back to wearing make-up almost every day after going bare faced for years.

Try having a make over at one of their stands, its free, and it saves buying something that makes you react.

Just got back from the pot luck. Had a lovely lunch. Chili, brocoli salad, sub sandwiches, fruit salad, fruit pizza, pretzel dessert and birthday cake. Had a little bit of everything . So now it's back on the programme. Need to get this weight off.

I had a makeover a couple of years ago - Dior, I think - and I was in agony. I reacted really quickly - ended up going to the shop loo and scrubbing the lot off. My eyes went red and puffed up and I came out in a rash along my cheek bones and my skin just generally looked sore, not the best of looks for someone who is naturally on the pale side.

Frus - I still have that apple pie (more like an oat crumble). I just don't have the whizzed cottage cheese with it any more - I have greek l/f yoghurt instead.

I still can't eat cottage cheese.

Sarah I always have reactions to makeup, do you guys have Origins over there, I love their stuff and have never reacted to any of it.

I hate Thursdays, we have a big meeting after school and there is always chocolate, I ate a bunch of crap, was going to skip the gym tonight but now I'm not allowing myself because I was such a pig. There were oreos (had 3) mini candy bars (probably 3) and I had a diet coke, now I have a headache since I'm not used to eating so much of that sweet stuff. Oh and lunch was bigger than usual, all veggies but just a lot of food, I feel bloated and nasty.

Chris we're supposed to break cold records tomorrow!!!!

I used to hate wearing make-up because it always felt like it clogged up my skin, but I've found one that I really like wearing now. It's a powder so it doesn't feel so heavy as creams, and it's tag line is "make-up so pure you can sleep in it". It's done wonders for my skin, I used to get spots but not since I started using this. It's not cheap mind, a big pot costs me about £25 but lasts me 6 months + of wearing it at least 5 days a week!

BfL apple pie/crumble (also good with greek yoghurt, fromage frais, yoghurt etc if you can't be bothered whipping up the cc!)

1 cooking apple chopped and peeled
add cinnamon/spice/splenda to taste

sprinkle over the top with 1/2C oats

microwave for 1.5-2mins

Then whizz up cottage cheese with splenda and vanilla or just use yoghurt etc - your choice of low fat dairy

Put cottage cheese on top and enjoy

I've recently started adding dried cranberries to the mix

Kickboxing last night - V sleepy managed to up some brown belt practice and Lee had the thoughtfulness to tell me that if I did it tomorrow I wouldn't get the belt. NO PRESSURE! So now I'm wetting myself more than I already was

One more sleep to bikey

Getting excited about the bike then?!

I'm not big on makeup, I wear it for meetings and nights out but not for days in the office or if I'm just popping to the shops. My skin is terrible (and that's even with a decent diet) and I don't like setting it off any more than I have to.

4 miles of intervals on the treadmill this morning, then tomorrow I get the joy of a long run - my first venture above half marathon distance since before Berlin. I'm aiming for about 14 - 15 miles but I'll see how I go.
