Lynsey, I am sorry for your bad morning! My scale was up a pound from yesterday and I gained .25inches in my knee and ankle(swelling from arthritis I think). Anyway, I lost 1 pound this week at weigh in for a total of 47 1/2 pounds in 20 weeks. I did lose a half inch in my hips! I think they are just sagging more, LOL!

I haven't decided when to start phase 3, I am still pretty happy in phase 2.

Good luck at weigh ins everyone!

I hate those mornings! Sending some good vibes your way!

tomorrow is a new day. Be strong. Do something that makes you happy after work.

oh and stop weighing yourself!!! wait for weigh-ins, (fluctuations are so frequent throughout a day and a week.)!

Moving abroad for a year is a BIG move but awfully exciting, too. A word of advice? Take enough personal care stuff and a good Korean or Okinawan cookbook in English that uses local ingredients. And seasonings you particularly like. If your in doubt about whether or not to take something and think you might want it, check to see if YesAsia ships it. It's a LOT cheaper to pay an airline for 2 extra bags that to ship. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the advice, Linden! I am incredibly excited (though my fiance, not so much... Well he is excited for me but sad that I will be gone for so long)! I didn't even think to find a Korean cookbook. What a good idea! I was told to bring enough deodorant and toothpaste to last me a year since what they have is VERY different there. Their bras are also not in my size, damn you big boobs! So I have to be stocked up on those too.

I just finished my breakfast and it was AMAZING. I think that was probably the best orange I have ever had. My body love, love, loved phase two so I hope it doesn't revolt in phase three.

Had my official WI today since I am going to be traveling and won't be around tomorrow. Down another 1.2#, which is great! I guess it took my body a little bit of time to adjust to the food differences of P2, but then it adjusted itself.

I think my body, in general, is adjusting itself. Even though there is only a pound difference from last week, my inches are still changing. There is definitely some "shifting" going on.

I am on P2 for another week, maybe 2, depending on where I am with my weight. Either way, by 11/23 I will be in P3.
I just read within the last week Novak saying that she and her sister had continued to lose a little weight in 2 and 3. But the amazing thing was that inches just fell off. Then others chimed in saying the same. But, Jenny, what if your beautiful dress doesn't fit any more?

Good job on the 1lb! As of now, I'm down 0.2! And I was down 1.6 at one point. Hopefully I have a big surprise in the morning. I never thought to measure my ankle or my knee. You lost in the hips which really matters! I like Phase 2 too! I am going to 3 Dec 8th though so I need all the losses I can get between now and then.

Oh my goodness. I certainly hope that my inches just FALL off. They certainly did this past week! I am hoping to have as much success with phase three. I will be on phase four for Thanksgiving and I am very happy about that! I have decided that I will not go too crazy. I will make sure to eat some steamed broccoli and turkey first and small portions of the other stuff afterwards, if I have any room!

That is funny about the hips. i really dislike tattoos (sorry if I offend anyone)
But each time I measure for inches lost I think I should have had marks tattooed in strategic places for lining up the tape measure. At least then I'd have a chance at hitting roughly the same place.

Glad to hear that you are enjoying phase 2.

I just finished two long days at school with parent teacher conferences in the evening. To top off the nght my car wouldn't start, so caught a ride with a colleague. Made big mac in a bowl, and hit the hay. But going to bed so early has me up early too, sigh....Friday is a day off since we had evening conferences. All my bars are gone so back to pudding cakes/muffins. I should just get serious and lose these last 6 pounds! This one pound a week stuff, oh well, it is what it is.

I am so happy for Wuv(Lisa) on losing her hundred pounds. I want to be right here as she continues to reach her goal.

Patns, my coach measures me, but I swear, I have to always show here where my waist is, it just isn't that defined anymore.

I dyed my hair and I think I look ten years younger. I am not into the gray hair, even though people thought it looked nice.

Have a great day everyone.

Down 0.8 this week at 155.2. I'm so upset I didn't make it back down the the 154.4 I saw during the weekend. TOM should be here sometime around Tuesday so maybe that's what brought me up. Who knows? It is what it is. I also lost 1.5 inches.

I have 10.2 to lose before I move to phase 3 and I only have 4 weeks. This trip really ruined my diet plans. I really wanted to get TO goal 100% before moving to 2 and have whatever I lost there as my cushion but it seems I won't even make it to goal before moving to 3. Funny how life changes things for you. I know I'm not ready to be done. I'm still uncomfortable with my belly so I will have to restart once I get back I guess. Bummer. Does anyone know if you have to phase off everytime? Can I just do phase 1 until I get to where I want since it won't be that much? Or maybe I'll just try calorie counting or something different and see if I can lose the rest that way. I'm a big pot of unknown right now.

I am still 0.4 from that 50 pound loss so I can't quite schedule the massage yet. Should've just scheduled it when I was at 50 on Saturday.

Good luck to the others weighing in today.

I thought about going to phase 3 next week, but I am so comfortable in phase 2 that I think I will stay here and just get the job done. MY coach says that not many people lose in phase 2 so I will be happy to lose 1 pound a week. If I don't lose, then I will just move on to phase 3.

I hear ya, Lynsey, I need to lose 2 1/2 pounds to get to my fifty pounds lost.

I had to take a trip down memory lane going through old facebook pics this morning I was so upset with that less than a pound loss. I posted some not so good pics on my blog of where I came from so now I feel a little bit better.

I hope to continue at a pound, or 2 would be nice, while in phase 2. I really wish I could lose more in 3! I have about 7 weeks before I go so if I could just lose a pound a week I'd ALMOST be there. I will continue the tummy exercises to see if that helps my trouble area. I didn't lose in my "pooch" this week but I did lose 1/2 in in my hips, waist, and thigh. I used to never be able to widdle my thighs so a 19.5" thigh is new to this girl! I'll continue those reverse crunches and jack knives on my ball to try to flattern the big ole pooch.

I read that as well in the older threads, which is why I thought I would mention it here too.

As for the dress, it has a little draw string at the waist, so I should be able to make it work But if not, then that means I got a lot smaller, and that is a good thing too! It is also the reason why I am trying not to buy too much, until things "finalize".
