I couldn't open the link, it directed me to my yahoo email account?Originally Posted by Linden
Hi GIKA, here's a good one-stop source for information about thyroidism. If you go to the bar at the top of the page, under the heading, there are four categories to click on. What I like about the site is the she has articles by real experts. As to going to an endocrinologist, that's a good idea -- if you can find one, and if he/she isn't booked our for a year. http://de.mg201.mail.yahoo.com/dc/launch?.intl=us
It sounds interesting though, if you still have it, could you send the link again? Quote:
One point that I am finding particularly helpful is the inconsistancy of weight loss at the beginning of P2. I started P2 on Wednesday and my weight been all over the board!!! It seems like a lot people experienced the same thing, then all the sudden, bam! A big drop. I am hoping that is the case for me
Did any of you find that your weight was up,down, up, down when you started P2? Then all the sudden it started dropping?
I'm just curious because it seems like that happened to a lot of the ladies back then. I am not too worried about it because my clothes all fit the same, but it makes me wonder if getting that little bit more food in P2 takes some adjustment time for our bodies.
Anyway, hope you all have a good day! I've got a lot of errands ahead of me and I am putting them off
Today is my "do" day, and there is certainly lots to do.
I just started reading that thread since I'm moving to phase 2 next week. So I'm putting my kindle down and spending my time here for now. I did read the whole "exercise" thread when I first started the program Originally Posted by jennydoodle

I did phase 2 for one week last week, to see if my losses would change at all, but they didn't. I lost 1 lb. Anyway, good luck!Quote:
Jenny - I've been doing Ph 2 since the beginning of September. Some weeks I've had big losses, some weeks lower losses. All I know is that I've dropped about 20 lbs being on Ph 2 so keep up what you are doing and your body will adjust.
Congratulations on the 2 lbs! If you don't mind me asking, is there a reason why you switched to phase 2 since September? Originally Posted by stolaf

First of all, congrats on a healthy report! and secondly, thanks for posting this. It's interesting... my LDL (that one that freaked me out) and yours aren't that different. I'll be doing more research on this tonight.Originally Posted by sandyh50
I got my blood work lab results back. The only thing marked as high was the BUN at 23 with the note that a high protein diet can raise this level. Cholesterol was 180, triglycerides at 65, HDL was 48, LDL was 119 and cholesterol risk ratio was 3.75. I had a Vitamin D 25-OH test done and it was 36. So all in all I did great. I did not have my thyroid checked.
