I'm not feeling too good today, my apeptite is decreasing again it means it's nearly that time of the month. I just generally don't feel too happy today but the funny thing is i don't even fancy any cheer me up foods. Missing ma boo, now i'm beginnning to think he's not missing me too cos he hasn't called. I'm too stubborn to call him, i want him to call me!!! Sorry about ma mini rant. Also i keep getting unknown calls in the middle of the night on my mobile.

I've had a lovely day today. The weather was gorgeous this morning for my cycle to work, so I did my longest route yet - 18 miles and almost all along country lanes apart from the last couple of miles when I headed back into the city centre. It was so nice and peaceful. First Friday (free) drinks after work, then I headed to the park to watch Dirty dancing on a big screen with free popcorn and shloer!

I must head off to bed now though, I'm planning a long run tomorrow, then I might go to a colleague's barbeque, then on Sunday it's the big day to attempt to get the car jump started and working again. I've actually really enjoyed being car free this week, it's been such nice weather for cycling and I've discovered a few new routes that I can use for runs as well as bike rides.

Feeling a tad miserable of late-my diet has ground to a full stop. On the very very rare occasions I do lose, I put on that or more the next week-even if I am following the diet properly. I am still at the same weight I was 6 months ago-even though I've lost some weeks, the gain the following week puts a downer on that.
I won't be going to weigh in for 3 weeks, because I had to see my doctor this week-and I am on holiday over the next 2 weeks. So I will see what I feel like the following week, as to whether I will bother going back.

This weekend has been mad. OH's brakes went on his car Friday evening. So had to buy a new car. OH doesn't do things by half, the car was in Blackpool! We were tired when we got back but managed to hang some wallpaper. Then went out for a meal. Went to 2 car boot sales this morning, m pedometer has never seen so many steps in one day. Then OH was in a big poker game, and ended up having a take away. Not had the energy for exercise over the weekend. Can't wait to get the house back to normal.

I had an interesting weekend, we had a very relaxing day on Saturday, and then on Saturday night I went to get ready for bed and found mouse droppings on our bed. Being the nervous sort, and hating that sort of thing Chris and I spent until 5am looking for the mouse and any other evidence of it. We couldn't find anything. On Sunday we went and bought a couple of the humaine traps and baited them, but so far theres nothing. There's no other evidence of it anywhere in the house. There's no droppings anywhere, or a nest as far as we can see.

Anyhow because of that I'm very tired, I can't settle down to sleep and I'm quite jumpy. Just hoping that it decided to go again.

Eating is going ok, although I've not really felt hungry over the weekend. I'm so tired today

Joy! Joy!
We had a proper hot summer's day yesterday and the sun is shining again today

Ok, so today I'm stuck in the office, but had a great day outside yesterday. Little red around the shoulders today - must use more factor 50!

My it has been hot! I ws having lunch in my firend's garden on Saturday after walking around Lewisham shops. I decided to have some retail therapy so I was loaded down with bags. With the result that I was supposed to leave their place this morning but have to go back tonight to pick up yet more bags! This time I will bring my suitcase on wheels which I should have done anyway.

My friends came back yesterday absolutely dead from travelling back from Scotland but stayed overnight near Sheffield. They had a bbq and it was so hot - but mustn't grumble!!!!!

Hi everyone

I used to post on 3FC regularly last year before I went travelling. I was doing well losing weight, and while travelling I managed to lose more without even trying and eating pretty badly. All these bad habits have bitten me in the arse now that I've returned, and I've managed to put on a stone in weight Now I am trying to beat this thing again, but because I've been so bad the cravings are just terrible and I'm really struggling . It doesn't help that I'm spending all my time at home trying to revise for an exam (and failing to keep on top of that too! ), sitting around like this just makes the cravings worse. When I'm off doing things I don't even really think about food.

Anyway, enough moaning. Since I was last here I have had an amasing time travelling around South America, and I met a lovely man out there who I am still seeing. He works in Birmingham and he works 4 days on, 4 off, so we see each other whenever he's off. I also made some fantastic friends.

I'm trying to get back to exercising. Since returning to the UK my plantar fasciitis has returned (no problem in South America though, v strange ), so no running, but I have dusted off the bike and done a couple of rides. I bought the boyfriend a bike for his birthday as well, so we can start going cycling together which will be nice (he says he'd like to lose a few pounds as well).

So things are pretty good, as long as I can get my arse in gear to revise, lose weight and get a new job! Can't see a problem there

It is great to see YP1 and 2Frustrated are doing so well. Hi again to Lou, Homersmummy, BritainNJ and Ms Peacock as well, I remember you from last year. To everyone else, hi and good luck on your weight loss

Welcome back Pachyderm.

I'm feeling so much better after my rest from running. My legs were on fire today, I was running way faster than normal with all that energy I've been saving up for the past couple of weeks. Hopefully I'm going to do a long bike ride in the morning if the weather's still nice.

I'm really struggling with exercise recently, I'm motivated to eat well (on Slimming World), but I just feel so unmotivated for exercise, surprisingly I find it easier to exercise in the winter. Busy weekend with a friend staying over coming up, so I gotta stay strong.

I have been quite naughty and had 4 days of from exercising. Back at it today though but didn't reach the target I set myself but wasn't too far off it. Unfortunately Uni assignments have to come first and then exercise.

hello Pachyderm

Glad your rest did you good Helen.

I went back to the gym for the first time since sore ribs and boy are my legs telling me about it I like it though! I am going to have to drag myself out today, partially because I can't walk without shuffling like an old lady! However it's UBWO today so I will survive! Not too sure about tomorrow though!

I'm planning on making a Quinoa and Grilled Courgette salad tonight that I found on www.101cookbooks.com ony problem is I'm not sure if I have to rinse my Quinoa or not....? If I do have to go and rinse it all then it won't be made tonight, maybe tomorrow. I suppose that's ok really.

We had a huge stir-fry last night and we were so tired we couldn't even be bothered to put a DVD on! We just flaked out on the sofa, then dragged our sorry asses up the ladder for reading and a Horlicks!

We're off to Cornwall at the weekend, shark hunting! Heh! I've packed my cossie!

Hello everyone

Welcome back Patchyderm.

Well I'm back Ireland was fantastic but alas I have been a greedy girl. However all is not lost I'm just about to go out walking with hubby then this evening I plan to gym if I'm not too knackered.

I just love going to Ireland so much. I have lots of friends and my Uncle Sean still lives in the family home where my father was bought up. Kerry is just beautiful. I had taken my trainers with all good intentions to go running or walking. However this all went to pot although I did walk about but not serious distances. I spent time with my family eating and more eating. The spuds were just fantastic so flourey and smothered in butter. I had soda bread and butter every single morning, and copious amounts of vodka at the weekend.

My father who came too was very frail but had a great time. He was happy drinking his few old pints of guiness every day and catching up with friends of his. Some who have come back to the town where they grew up. They have all shared so much since they all came from extremely poor backgrounds big huge families with hardly any money but always lots of laughter and a pot of spuds and stew on the go. I said to my father one day here let me get you a plate to put your sandwich on and he said "girl its far from plates i was reared"

I have put on almost five pounds tut tut but strangely I feel ok about this. Hopefully I can get a few off by the weekend at least.

Niagra falls how wonderful Chris I hope to get there myself some day.

Anyway I've been catching up with all your news.

Take good care

Michele
