That is strange. Sounds like a clotting disorder of some kind. Does she take blood thinners (coumadin)? I hope they can figure out whats going on.

Not much new here. Stil retaining water from Tuesday. I drank a lot to flush it out and it backfired. Last night I woke up at 2:30 with a heavy feeling in my chest. I know it was the extra water. I finally started getting it out today. Fingers crossed its better by the morning.

I had a personal best tonight. I walked/jogged 2miles in 32min. Which is a huge improvement because in August I was walking 2.5mph on the treadmill. I guess persistance pays off. I am only jogging 2-5min at a time but I keep trying to increase that time.

Have a wonderful Friday.

Lishar--you are kicking it! all that exercise will help the water gain too.

doing well on the plan! yesterday i took a header outside Kohls--tripped on the curb. I am okay but a little sore. just happy I am down in weight a bit--it is so dangerous to fall when heavy. looking forward to being lighter.

cheers all and a special get well soon to julias mom.

thanks everyone.

i know, we thought a clotting disorder as well but her blood tests all came back normal. its all very bizarre. yesterday her side was hurting and she went to the dr and found out she has a fractured rib (she has no idea how it happened). shes only 58 but it just seems like her body is failing quite a bit. shes going to a blood doctor soon, i hope they can figure something out!

Julia, best of luck to you and your mom. I'll say a prayer for her.

Thanksgiving will be here before you know it - less than 2 weeks away! Been doing a lot better eating wise after a slip up 5days ago. This time I got back on track, thank God.

I have been keeping up on the thread but not moving much on the scale in the right directions. I am trying to get back to my low of last week. I don't have high hopes of making my goal but I have lost weight along the way so that counts.

My DH works Wed/Thursday nights next week so we will be having a small dinner before he goes to work. There are only 4 of us so we do not have a large Thanksgiving dinner. I will make a pie for the rest of the family which I won't eat. Its caramal pecan pumpkin pie. So good and no bake. But DH asked for it so I will make one. I love me some green bean cassarole but may have to pass this year because I am the only one who likes it. LOL.

Have a great week ladies and remember you are amazing whatever the scale says.
