Another Monday, and another fresh new week!

Julia, thanks for the congrats! And congrats to you for getting into your new "decade."

Sno, another pound lost! Fantastic!

Lishar, hang in there. Never give up! I'm working at it, too, with very little to show for it. I hope that this week is a good one for both of us!

Mamma, Your doing an awesome job!

Hi all!

well I had a large salad the last three days--working on getting those veggies in and I know it will help.

I also ordered a yogurt maker and some natural flavorings from King Arthur Flour. I love homemade yogurt and I find eating yogurt helps with weight loss.

cheers all!

I have been working 12 hour shifts the last few days and have a class today. I will check back later. I have offically gained back the 3lbs I lost last week. I will keep on plan and burn more than I eat. Not much more I can do than that.

long shifts can be killer. 3 lbs isnt a ton though, could just be a water thing. just stick to it and itll be gone again before you know it

Lishar - you're going in the right direction, just keep at it. Those 12-hr shifts, plus classes - oh my, that sure doesn't help. Not to mention you have a family to care for!

Sno, did you ever move or are you still planning on it? Let us know how the yogurt maker works out.

Tyla, thanks for the kind words. No sooner had I updated the ticker - I gained some. That's the way it goes. It'll work in the long run.

Julia, are you only weighing in once a week? That takes discipline!

Oh well, another Fat Fest this weekend, I just hope to keep things (relatively) in control!!

Default five weeks to thanksgiving!

hi all!

went off the plan yesterday--back on today tho--we have officially five weeks till the dreaded day!

julia: fantastic! 186 is a really good weight.

mountain: we didnt move--we found out that it may be quite a while before we have to so we are staying put for now. I thought the yogurt maker would take longer to get here--it arrived on Tuesday and on monday i bought a bunch of yogurt for the week! so i probably wont try it till next week. i'll keep you all posted.

cheers!

Sno good luck for your goal. I have a yogurt maker but lost a piece so have to buy a new one. You can make greek yougurt by straining the whey out with cheese cloth. It reduces the volume by half. I buy so much greek yougurt I need to start making it. I use a cup a day with my breakfast.

I actually went up 5lbs since last week. I figured it out as water weight because we have been eating out a bit more than normal. Panda express, Taco bell (love the cantina bowl) and food from work. So I am trying to eat from home more and drink drink drink my water. I am down 2lbs so far but not back to my record low of last week.

Well I am finally back down those 5lbs. I was sick yesterday with a annoying cold that kept me on the couch. I drank about 1.5 gallons of water and lost the water weight I was holding onto. So down to 230 again. I am still sniffly and sneezing but nothing like yesterday. I will try and lift again today.
