Just checking in after weigh-in. Sept 5 I am at 248 and have lost 2 lbs since last week.

Oh btw--I have found omega 3 to be helpful in losing weight. might helps some of the stalls.

cheers

Sno- I started putting ground flax on my greek yogurt/blueberries for breakfast. It makes it much sweeter and i get my omega 3. congrats on your weight loss.

Tyla congrats on your weight loss. Every bit counts.

I am not weighing today because I lifted yesterday. Boy my thighs hurt. I did wide stance squat with 12lb weight. Plus leg press with 70lbs. I took something this morning I guess its worn off. Most of my lifting was chest and its funny that my legs are hurting.

I was really hoping to see a 3 today. But no I am up .5lb at 240.5. I hope its from the horrible thigh pains I was having yesterday. I think this was from the lifting I did on tuesday. I did walk for an hour last night. 3 miles.

I had a strange thing happen yesterday. My family went to DQ and instead of having ice cream I had an arctic rush (slushy). When we got I home I started feeling strange. Dizzy and the room would spin when I moved my head. After laying down for half an hour I realized it was from the large amount of sugar I ingested. I have not had that much sugar at one time in over a month. Very weird.

MY daughter had her cast put on yesterday. So we had another drive down to Childrens hospital.

I am so excited I sat at 240 for 5 days and today 238 . I am down 2lbs. I want to be below 230 because that is my weight from a year ago April. Another cool thing about 238 is a 10% loss. My goal will be a 40%loss.

I am taking my girls to touch a truck. Its a cool thing they do every year. The kids get to see different types of service trucks. City bus, fire truck, ambulance, dump truck all kinds. My girls love it. Its a beautiful day which is nice. A few times we have gone in the rain.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. MY DH works all weekend and nights so we don't see him much.

Love that turkey, Tyla! Lishar, never heard of Touch a Truck but that sure sounds like fun for kids. Heck, even I'd like to do it! How's the house hunt coming Sno?

Still hanging in there. Good luck everyone!

My husband told me today he notices a difference and is very proud of me for sticking to this. Eating healthy and exercising regularly. I was shocked. That really made me feel good. I have been serving my family basically what I have been eating. I just measure mine more closely.

I have been sending him with salads for lunch. He usually eats fast food before work and at work. We are tight for money right now so its a double blessing that he is eating healthier and not spending the money on McD. I wonder seeing my progress might get him off his butt/Computer and exercising more. Fingers crossed.

It was just nice to get that compliment.

Day 27 of staying within my range and exercising. Lost another 1/2 lb. I'm finally back down to my ticker weight. Now it's time for me to focus on finally getting back to my goal.

Good luck, everyone!

Still here, still hanging on. Hope everyone is well. Will catch up later.

Sno, are the cukes from your garden? I LOVE cukes, but only eat them fresh, except for the family recipe that I WON'T share - cukes swimming in sour cream. (Don't wanna even think about that!)
