Have a great weekend everyone
I lost just as many inches as pounds at first. Seeing the clothing size fly down while the weight ticks down can be very motivating!

I hope you get to feeling better soon. This cold and flu season seems to be really active.

I am trying to figure out what the name of that ab exercise. I haven't been able to find a demo or the name for it and I don't know how to accurately describe it. I will keep looking.

Hi all. I am doing ok on my challenge. I should make it into Onederland by the 14th. I am hovering over Onderland by .2 pounds, yes, 2/10ths of a pound....a little frustrating. TOM weight gain last week kinda bummed me out. I didn't gain but I didn't lose for the week...Anywho, on a positive note. I definitely look leaner in my face and in my waist. I am liking the changes I'm seeing and they are motivating me to keep at it.

Stimkovs: I'm sorry Being sick AND at work always stinks! I hope you feel better soon!!
4star: Awesome work! I know you will get to your goal! You're doing a great job. TOM stinks though, but you'll get through it! We do every month LOL.

I had a nice weekend. Ate quite high, but that's life. On WI I was down to 150.6, which means I've finally made forward progress. Now this week I just need to stay OP to be sure I continue that progress!
My NSV on Friday was the fact that I noticed a nice increase in my stamina and speeds while doing HIIT! My average speed when I started HIIT was 6mph, this past week I was able to average 7mph! I have also started slowly increasing my regular running speeds. I will see how I do today, due to TOM issues I kept last week "easy" with just the elliptical. Today is back to normal running!

Later chickies!

stimkovs- I hope you get better soon!

4star- It took me forever to get from 201 to 199. Now I am having trouble getting to 179 and staying there. We just have to keep at it.

tdiprincess- Way to go on the working out!

4star - who cares about lbs as long as the pants are getting smaller right? eventually the whoosh will follow!!

Also, thank you, i'm just hoping it doesn't blow out of proportion into needing antibiotics, because working out with antibiotics sucks, and stalls monsiuer scale ahah.

ps. look what i found : http://randomabs.com/today/

tdiprincess congrats on the stamina increase- it doesn't get easier, you just get stronger RIGHTT?

toobig HEY!! I just noticed we have pretty much the same stats!! I've been gaining and losing beteween like 178 and 175.5 for like, 2 weeks now how many calories are you eating? how much are you exercising? lets compare notes!

my update? 30 DAY CHALLENGE ROCKED!! Finito la comedia =) ahah done done done. today, is OFF. no yoga, so i can (pardon the TMI) but pee out all the water weight - seriously, your body knows. i took measurements from Jan 1 and this morning - the difference is overall 11 inches. nothing came off my arms, or my thighs, a little off the waist, a little off of the ribs, chest, 3 inches off my stomach!!! (i measure at the widest part) and some off the hips. WOO HOOOO. I am now a (ballpark) 36-29-35. WOO HOOO?? haha. so far, weight loss is only 4 lbs, ish for the month (but i will know more once the pee-ing water retention situation clears up tomorrow).

now, i think my studio is continuing on to a 60 day challenge. if this crazy cold gets a little better by tomorrow i will try to continue!

stimkovs: Nice website find! That is pretty cool. I don't know if I'd actually do it, but it's cool!! :congrats: on finishing the challenge and trying to continue!!
You're right, it does not get any easier! I also need to be careful and make sure I'm not doing too much too fast for my poor knees.

Today I did HIIT and a little kettlebell. I had to cut my routine short due to an early appointment. I may do something later, since MIL bought me a kettlebell set!!
Yesterday I had lots of apple pie..and crust. I'm a bit bloated today. Normal eating today!

Later chickies!

I hit my goal today. Going to work on maintaining it and pushing past it by the 14th because I know water retention is going to mess with me lol.

I weighed in at 108.8 today (lowest I have EVER seen).

I went to the gym today (I was running late) and I only got 35 minutes of weight training in before 1 hour of muscle conditioning. After that, I took a 15 minute break before power yoga. I burned 762 calories today! WOOHOO!

Grats on your weigh in.
How do you figure up how many calories you've burned on exercise?

Thank you! I have a heart rate monitor that tracks calories burned. I take that number and subtract how many calories I would have burned in an hour if I did nothing. My heart rate monitor's calories burned is a little high so I always make sure to subtract. Tracking calories burned is not exact like tracking caloric intake, but it gives me a good guesstimate.

Here is a link on subtracting BMR. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/Hus...alories-154113

I'm about to go grocery shopping and I always burn at least 100 calories for an hour of shopping.

I had an OP weekend, and I’ve been using the treadmill every day My cold symptoms mostly seem to be gone, but my cough isn’t getting any better. I pulled a muscle in my back yesterday from all the coughing It seems like it’ll take a while to get better, since my mom and brother got the same cough/cold in early December and they’re still coughing.

In better news, I went to the mall today and found some good deals. I had a $10 coupon for a store I like, and thanks to a big sale I ended up getting a skirt, 2 belts and a bracelet for $14 Yay!

Ekicna: Congrats on your new low weight!
Coco: Congrats on reaching your goal early! That’s awesome!
Tdi: That’s so exciting that your MIL bought you a kettlebell set! Yay!
Stimkovs: Congrats on finishing the 30 day challenge! You’re so teensy! And 3 inches off the stomach is awesome!! I hope you feel better! Colds are no fun
Toobig: Hope you have a great week too!
4star: It’s great that you see the changes in your body! The scale can be weird sometimes, but those physical changes are why we keep on going!
